Summary: Chaos! Madness! Unreasonable happenings! You know the drill. Alternatively: characters wake up and sigh because god, not this again.
Rating: Varied. Anything frisky goes to appointments as per usual, chums.

Due to the size and variation of this event, it's probably best to have several logs for it to avoid one getting overcrowded and broken. Feel free to have your characters post their own entries, of course, if you'd prefer- you're more than welcome! This is for people who like to consolidate. Another log ought to be posted around the 16th for round 2.

[Oh. Oh.]

Billy-- Kaplan?

[She feels like she already knows the answer to that question, now that she's looking at him. No wonder he seemed so much like her and her brother. Augh, why didn't she see it earlier. Why does she NEVER see it??]

[He pauses at that, eyes wide, which is probably the best affirmative he could offer.]

How'd you know that?

I...

[Ah. So this must be what Billy went through when she first arrived. Fair enough. Fair. Enough.]

I-- knew your mother. Before I came here, I mean. You were- a different size the last time I saw you.

[Wanda hates lying, though most of that isn't really lies. Still, it feels bad. But she doesn't want to freak him out.]

Ohhh. You saw me when I was a baby, then.

[Briefly he wonders when his mother could have seen her - it's not like she has teenage friends, she's a big and very serious grown-up after all - but before long he decides it's not that important. For her to have known his name, and his mother, it means she's definitely safe. So he feels better about going with her.]

I'm a lot bigger now!

You... have changed a lot! [She agrees, and then laughs, because this situation is so freaking ridiculous. Oh but he's such a sweet boy. More of her than she would care to admit to is excited by this change; she gets to see him while he's little; how special is that?!]

Let's get you some markers, anyway. What have you been up to? [She wants to know EVERYTHING about you, Billy.]

[He isn't sure what she's laughing at, but laughing is fun and he likes the sound of it, so he smiles and trots along beside her, as fast as his little legs can carry him.]

Um... just looking around, I guess. I've never seen anyplace like this before. Everyone has wings, even me! It's like magic.

[Wanda glances back at her own wings, which she never really bothers to hide, then down at Billy, with a smirk.]

Oh? Do you like magic?

[This feels like cheating. She shouldn't have this much knowledge. But it's so much fun!]

[He practically bounces on his feet as he responds.]

Uh-huh! Magic's the coolest. All the best heroes have magic back home.

[Wanda stops to bend over and be on level with him again.] Welll... did you know I'm magic?

[That makes him stare again. That's a pretty bold claim from someone he hardly knows. And he's never met anyone magic before, just seen them on TV.]

You're magic?

Mmhm. ...Ever since I was about your size.

[She grins, knowing that this might be a tall order for him to believe.]

Do you want to see?

[He half-bounces on his heels again, eyes wide and waiting.]

Yeah! I mean, please! Show me, show me!!

Alright. ... Watch close, now![Kneeling down again, Wanda does the most basic thing she knows how to do; turning on her aura. Holding her hands out, palms up, in front of her, she lets the blue light dance for bitty boy, watching his face carefully for reactions.]

This... is my magic aura.

[Naturally, being a bitty boy who has literally never seen magic this close before, Billy stares at the light show, wide-eyed, slack-jawed, and awestruck. He has no words for what he's thinking, but his expression ought to say it all.]

[Weaving her hands through the air, she does her best to form the hex aura into shapes for him. It's not easy; it likes to stay attached to her, and without pulling a crystal out, she's not that great at making auroras. But she makes the aura dance and flicker, in the very least.]

... Magic is wonderful. Have you ever tried?

[It takes him a moment to respond- he's still staring, transfixed, absolutely fascinated by the shapes her magic is changing into. Finally he nods, unable to tear his eyes away from her hands.]

Uh-huh! Lots of times. But nothing like this ever happened.

[Wanda doesn't take his non-eyecontact badly. Were she in his position, she would probably react the same. She wanted to impress him, and she's happy he's so enthralled.]

Well... keep trying. Maybe some day it will.

[It is interesting that he isn't already experiencing his mutant power, she thinks. She and Pietro both started experiencing their powers at a very early age. Then again, she also knows that she and her brother are the exception to the general rule. So maybe not to odd.

She twists the magic about in the air for him a bit more, before drawing the aura back into her with a deep breath.]

Um... okay.

[Billy's about ten years too early for his powers, so mostly he just looks confused by her certainty. But she's nice and her magic looks cool so he'll just take her word for it. Lots of kids in his world dream about getting super powers anyway.]

How do you have powers? Are you a mutant?

I am! ... You're very smart, to know that. [She smiles happily at him.] You must be very clever.

Mm... not really.

[Billy shuffles his feet, finally tearing his eyes off her hands. His expression looks like a mix between pleased and uncertain now.]

Most kids with powers are mutants, and you don't look old.

[Aww, what a sweet little boy he is. She can't stop smiling. This is kind of dangerous. If this is what Billy was like as a kid, then SHE KIND OF WANTS TO HAVE A BILLY HERSELF. Her other self is so lucky.]

...see? Smart. I wouldn't have figured that out.

[She uses a finger to boop his nose, gently.]

Don't ever let anyone tell you you're not.

[He lifts a hand to touch his nose where she'd tapped it.]

I know 'm smart about some stuff. Mom says I was reading before my whole class, that's pretty good! But the mutant thing is stuff everybody knows about.

Well then... you're smart in comparison to me, then. [Wanda feels very open with this Bitty Billy boy. ]

I wouldn't have figured out the mutant thing. And. I don't know how to read. ... Maybe you should be helping me!

[It's not the sort of thing she would usually admit to, but she's offering up this bit of personal information in hopes that it will help her bond with this younger version of Billy.]

[His eyes go wide as saucers at that, and he looks vaguely horrified.]

You can't read? That's horrible! You should go to school right now!

[He can't imagine life without books. Books are great! There's endless stories, and so many of them are amazing!]

[Ouch, a little on the head there, kiddo. Not that he's not right!]

I am going to school. ...I just started this year! There's a very nice lady, there, who's helping me a lot.
