Who: OPEN to all!
What: Movies, movies, movies! And games and food too.
When: All day Saturday, June 7th (starts 11ish)
Where: Rec Center
Summary: Ginia throws a movie marathon at the rec center for entertainment and post-draft distractions.
Rating: PG-13 for some of the movies shown, but let's keep it around here or lower.

On Thursday, flyers were posted around the village with another notification of the movie marathon and the list of movies that will be shown:

The Sword in the Stone
Grease
Robin Hood: Men in Tights
Moulin Rouge
The Princess Bride
Jurassic Park
Clue
Rocky Horror Picture Show

Come Saturday, the list can also be found outside the rec center. Inside the center, there are tables set up filled with food: fruit and veggie platters, cookies and cake from the bakery, sandwiches, packages of popcorn (with a microwave nearby), and an assortment of packaged candy. As food begins running low, runners will be sent to the stores to bring back more. There are also drinks - water, sodas, juices, tea, and coffee. Alcohol is bring your own, but Ginia also has a small table set aside with some gin, whisky, vodka, and mixers.

Besides what seating is already in the rec center, additional chairs, large cushions, and even two beanbag chairs have been brought in. For those who want to hang out but not watch movies, there's still pool, board games, and a few deck of cards.

Enjoy, relax, and try not to think about the draft.

[Wait, wait, wait... was that teasing, or true?]

Oh Jeanie, do share with the rest of the class. Don't spare the detail.

[She does a slow, deliberate head turn away from the movie, followed by a slow blink, and a pause that probably feels longer than it is. Finally, she speaks;]

Shh. I can't hear the movie.

[The turns back, as if nothing has happened.]

[Sitting up straighter and turning to rest his arm against the back of the couch, Remy leaned his chin into the palm of his hand.]

I can get ya the details of it later, more interested in our charmin' conversation we were havin'.

So, we talking cat suit, or strategically placed leather items to keep a lure of mystery 'bout it all.

Depends on who's wearing what. [She has to grin, even though she's still looking full forward at the movie. This conversation IS amusing, in the very least.]

Now now, ya got to wait 'till it at least get to Rocky Horror before I pull out the fishnets 'nd leather. [Grins.]

[That'll get her attention, or at least enough that her eyes slide over to him again.] Fishnets?

Absolutely, I have stunnin' legs.

Ah, merci Jeanie, kind of ya.

[While they're on that topic, gives her a once over.] Or maybe corset 'nd feather boa instead, Janet?

Hmmm, I don't know. Not sure if a corset's my speed. On you, though... [She teases. Dammit, Janet.]

Think that trend has passed for men, 'part from certain corners of the internet.

'nd don't think I can do that as much justice as ya could. The stockin's I could still, mais not the corset.

Hmmm. Maybe if I saw both, I could let you know which you do the most justice for.

Would I get a fair trade back?

I hadn't considered. Though I suppose that would be only fair. Hmn. [She considers, as if this is some huge imposition he's asking.]

Pretty sure I be the one that started this all with that talk of leather 'nd canes now cherie.

Starting something is one thing. I still asked first. [She tiches, turning back to the movie.]

I find finishin' something to be much more important, wouldn't ya agree Jeanie?

[Ohh, finally an expression change out of her! She arches both eyebrows as she looks at him.]

Why, Remy; if I didn't know any better, I'd think you were insinuating something there!

[Suppressing a laugh at her reaction, Remy kept his smirk he had in place.]

Now Jean, what possibly four ya mean? I just sayin' I be a man who likes to get a job done, all the way to the end.

What were ya thinkin' of?

Oh well... the way you were talking...[She traces her finger, mock-bashful along an invisible line on the back of the couch, over towards Remy, and then up on his shoulder.] It just sounded like... you know. You were a surgeon.

[She smirks, withdrawing her hand.]

We got some things in common. Skilled with our hands. Know the important points to hit. Know how to use a variety of specialized tools.

Oh? And what kind of 'tools' do you use? [This is a very bizarre game of Chicken they're playing.]

That all depends on the job at hand, different situations require different ones ya know. Get the same outcome, mais so many different paths to get to it. [Yes it was, very much so.]
