The adventure to the past is over; the villagers have all been sent home to their own time. But things are different. The changes of the past have echoed into the future. And the world has responded in the strangest way. Why are so many people here all of a sudden? And why are their memories such a mess?

Who really knows?

Vanellope, you mean? [ she shoots him a sort-of-chastising look. ] I haven't. But there have been so many people showing up today, I wouldn't be surprised if she's around here somewhere!

[gonnawreckit]

Of course, how many brats do you think I know? [He says that with fondness, really.] I bet she's somewhere around here, too. Wherever she is, I bet she's up to no good. But maybe having this much sugar in one place'll draw her in eventually.

[gleamed]

We can only hope! [ rapunzel takes a bite of cake, not-so-minding her manners and talking through a mouthful. ] I'd love to see her again. How was your trip home?

[gonnawreckit]

You know? It was pretty great, actually? [He ends up picking up a piece of cake with a finger and shoving it into his mouth, never even thinking of manners as he goes on with his big full mouth.] You remember where I was at last time. The kid was about to get her game plugged, I was taking a dive... but you know what? The snotty brat was right all along! We made it.

[gleamed]

[ she beams! ] Oh, Ralph! That's great news! I'm so happy for you!

[gonnawreckit]

Ya darn well better be! And that's not where it ends. All the Nicelanders? Now they treat me all... nice! Plus the kid's still got her glitch, but all the kids love her anyway! It's great!

[gleamed]

[ this is wonderful! in fact, it's SO WONDERFUL that she gets up from her seat to hug him again. she is remorseless. ]

That's so wonderful! I'm so glad things turned out. You got the happy ending you deserve.

[Now he looks all sheepish at that and reluctantly drapes an arm over.]

H-hey, thanks kid. I dunno if I'm the most deserving, but... What about you - any happy endings in your neck of the woods?

[gleamed]

[ she pulls back and sits again, smiling a bit sheepishly. ]

Well...only a few moments passed for me when I went back, actually. So...not quite yet!

[gonnawreckit]

[He pokes at her forehead teasingly with his oversized finger.]

Eh, don't worry, you'll get there. Sweet little princess with golden hair? You're like a happy ending magnet!

[gleamed]

[ she chuckles. ] I hope so. Though I hope next time I go home, I can remember this place. Or find a way to see my friends again...that'd be a true happy ending.

Now that's something to aim for, kid! Come to think of it, I couldn't remember this game at all when I went back where I came from. Something must must be screwy with the memory chip here... but hey, I'm sure it's just a bug that'll be fixed soon enough! [Along with everyone else not having self-awareness.]

Then we'll be able to do all the remembering we want! No save file corruption here, no sirree!

I hope so. Finding how much time I missed is already a lot to think about.

[ she frowns, an overemphasized pout. she did miss ralph when he left, but this time, she's only trying to tease him. ]

Don't remind me! The first floor just wasn't the same without you and Vanellope around...

[And now he frowns more sincerely, shuffling his giant foot around the floor.]

Hey... sorry, kid. I didn't mean to ditch you like that, and I bet the brat didn't either... This game ends without warning.

[gleamed]

[ she reaches out to pat him on the arm. ] Please don't worry about it! We're here again and that's what matters now.

[He smiles warmly.]

If you say so kid! [He jabs a finger as if threatening.] And you bet we're gonna make the best of it! Got it?

[gleamed]

Got it! Let's both see to it that we do.

[ and she takes a bite of cake. ]
