Day 2 and 3
[Fayt had jerked awake when the alarm had sounded and once he had gotten an idea of what was happening, he was grabbing his sword and heading out. He had no idea where Cliff and Albel were, but he knew they'd likely meet up somewhere in this mess, so he heads out to help.

He throws himself into any fight he comes across, fighting his way through with sword in hand, using whatever skills necessary to subdue his attackers. At times, when he comes across a group too big to handle solo, he tries to get out of the way long enough to pull back and unleash a symbol or two to even the odds a bit, the effects of what seems to be magic ripping up stone from the ground around his opponents, or raining down fire upon them, or encasing their feet in ice. It's a lot more difficult fighting solo under these conditions, but he's got to manage somehow.

At some point, when passing by the docking area, he pauses.... gets a crazy idea, then heads in. It couldn't be that hard, right? And they needed all the firepower they could get.]

Day 4 and 5
[When the droids get taken control of, it starts to make things a great deal more difficult for Fayt, but he’s managing for at least day 4. On day 5 when he runs into a group of droids, Lightning Blast seems like it’s the way to go with these resistant robots, but the soldier who’s with them is doing something that seems to be akin to a silence Symbol, making that impossible.

This is going to be a problem.]

Day 6
[The call to action is definitely a welcome thing. With a plan finally in place, he decides to head towards one of the detention centers to see what he could do to help.]

Day 4

[Sokka had been stalking this particular group from the rooftops, keeping quiet, and doing his best to spot the Shifter controlling them. Wherever it was, it was being damn sneaky. At least up until the point he spotted somebody going up against the droids. Frankly, Sokka isn't inclined to help. The droids are powerful, very powerful, and going up against them is fairly suicidal. So he watches, instead, hoping that this distraction will draw the Shifter out.]

Day 4

[It was being damn sneaky. Fayt was holding his own for the most part, but once he'd figured out symbology was useless, he'd resorted to attacking the joints of the droids, hacking at limbs until they stopped moving and trying to find the soldier that he'd deduced seemed to be the source of the problem.

It was difficult, though-- every time he caught sight of them, another droid or two, or even three, was in front of Fayt, and then the soldier was gone while they kept him busy.

Sokka might find what he's looking for, especially since Fayt was trying to so the same. The shifter had to mess up their hiding attempts eventually, between two sets of eyes.]

Day 4

[There it was. He was going inside and outside of the nearby buildings. Clever. He needed to keep proximity to the droids, it would seem. The problem was that the easiest way to get to him would be putting this stranger in danger.

Well, you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.

The next moment the Shifter stepped into the open, Sokka threw one of his explosive boomerangs at the car's gas tank just adjacent to him. The explosive fireball swallowed the Shifter up. But at the same time, the explosion was big enough to be a risk to Fayt too, unless he moved fast.]

Day 4

Whoa...! [Luckily for Fayt, his eyes are fast, and he is too. He sees the boomerang coming, though not the person who threw it, and thinking it's aiming for him possibly, moves away from it's trajectory.

The following explosion does throw him, but he's quick to tuck his body close to make the fall less damaging.]

Day 5

[The entire battle was a problem. Cliff learned that the hard way during his encounter with Okita the day before and the sudden, near overwhelming chaos that followed when formerly friendly units suddenly turned on them. The bandages he wore was proof of his own reckless abandon at this point. He wouldn't tolerate friends and allies getting hurt. Not on his watch.

It was why he dove into the fray as soon as he spotted Fayt having trouble with his Symbols. He knew he was going to regret it later-- but screw it.]

Cliff! [The arrival of a familiar face is welcome indeed, and there's a renewed grin on his face as Cliff's entrance clears a bit of room in the press of droids. This? This he could work with.

He makes his way to his teammate's side, sword out to clear any droids trying to get between them, though his smile fades a bit at the bandages. Five days of fighting... of course he'd be injured.]

Thanks for that. You doing alright?

Day 5

Ask that to the guy who's butt I saved. Good man, but such a moron!

[He winked. There was time for worries later, even if the pulling did smart. Business was first.]

I've been outta the loop for a bit. What's the deal on these guys?

Day 5

Says the guy who looks like he got in over his head just as badly. [He takes his place behind Cliff, keeping an eye out for any droids that might take advantage of the Klausian's injury.]

There's a soldier in this mess using something like a Silence symbol. These robots are pretty durable, too, so it's slow going. I'm trying to locate the caster, but they keep dodging out of sight.

Day 5

[ravelt]

[Once Haru had figured out those guys standing in the center of groups of soldiers were somehow dampening his powers, he knew he had to take them out, no matter what. He charged towards that Shifter that was silencing Fayt. There was one nice thing about having natural physical abilities, beyond that of the superhuman ones his Rave gave him.

No matter how good that Shifter's powers were... They didn't make taking a hit from the backside of Eisenmeteor hurt any less.]

Hryaaah!

[Haru's attack surprises Fayt-- He'd been trying to track down the shifter, but with the droids acting as a mechanical wall, it got a bit more difficult then he'd anticipated. So the sudden appearance of an ally from nowhere is a bit unexpected, even if it's a good sort of unexpected.]

Careful! They're using the robots as a barrier!

[He'll be trying to do his best to cover Haru from attackers following him from behind.]

Got it! Help me take him out or we're not gonna get anywhere like this! [Haru starts forcing his way past the droids, punching, shoving, kicking, whatever it takes to get them out of the way and back to his target.]

Right! [Fayt sticks close and helps clear the way, using similar means to slash and kick his way through the mechanical enemies.]

They've been trying to hide, so keep your eyes open!

Day 6

[It seems like Fayt isn't the only blue haired draftee going towards the detention centres.

Compared to other orders, Kouki's snap decisions lead him to go and rescue the captives. Seeing someone's approaching, he quickly glance over, half-expecting to see an enemy...but fortunately, it's Fayt.]

[Fayt's glad to see someone who looks like they're on his side, so he quickly makes his way over.] Hey! You heading towards the detention center too?

[Kouki quickly nods.] Yeah! It's the best possible thing I can do right now.

[He glance around, checking for any enemies around.] Let's get going.

Day 4

[ Fayt isn't the only one caught under a Shifter's magic-cancelling influcence. Korra finds herself unable to bend as a platoon of droids nears them.

She could fight hand to hand, even if bending was her forte. And she had the knife Sokka had given her as a last resort. She glances to the allies around her, seeing who she has to work with. ]

Got any bright ideas?

[Help. Help was good. He sends a nod in the girl's direction, taking the same moment to ram his sword into the joints of a droid's 'neck'.]

We need to take out the soldier controlling these guys! Maybe between the two of us we can catch him. [Two people would make it easier then just one.]

The problem's been the droids blocking the way... So one of us can draw them while the other catches the shifter. What do you think?

[precipitous]

[ Not especially a planning type herself, this approach sounds as good as any to her. ]

I'll distract them if you can take out the leader. [ She might not be able to bend, but she could still keep them occupied long enough to hopefully give him a window to attack. ]

Day 3

[From one battle to another, Souji presses through the lines of cultists that keep raining down upon the field. Their wings are large and easy to target at the very least, even if the sheer volume of them nearly chokes the fortress with their bodies. It's when he's running across to find another group that he sees someone fighting alone - most notably a blue haired someone raining fire from above.

But with someone running up behind him.

Souji abruptly changes directions to intercept and shouts.]

Behind you!

Day 3

[Fayt had thought he'd had enough time and space to call up an Explosion symbol, but the few seconds he'd needed to pause to do so had apparently been too many. As the symbol fades from the air in front of him, It's effects playing out on their own now, Fayt hears a yell and turns to face it.

Thanks to that, he has a split second to notice his attacker. His sword is raised in a bare moment to block the attack that had been aimed towards his back and would have hit it's mark, too, if he had been a second slower.] Ah...!

[Souji feels a measure of relief when he sees the boy turn and successfully block the attack from behind. A moment later and Souji is at his side and carving the cultist's wings from his back with a stroke of his katana. It's dishonourable to attack from behind, but on a chaotic field like this, he's willing to do what it takes to save people. Especially the boy he saw Cliff talking to just a day or two before.]

Day 3

[Leon hadn't started out the day alone. Young as he was, he had been approached to join with a group of draftees from Excenn, and he had agreed when he realized their skills would be pretty complementary.

But as the chaos continued, they had gotten separated from each other, and he ducks into a docking bay to get away from the flurry of activity and noise that has been assaulting his ears. He's only in there for a short while before he realizes someone else has entered, and he grips his sword warily until he notices it's another draftee -- and a familiar one, at that.]

What are you doing in here?

Day 3

[Fayt had only just found the docking bay himself, really, and he was looking over the aircrafts from a distance to see what, if any of them, looked like they would be possible to manage solo.

He turns to glance at Leon when he speaks up, eyes widening slightly in surprise.] Leon?

Well, you see I.. [He probably was going to sound insane for this. Since when did he become the the one prone to crazy ideas, anyway?] ...Was wondering if it might be possible to use one of these. [Jerking a thumb towards the ships in question.] It seems like they don't have enough people around to use them effectively.

[He's slow to walk over to Fayt, still tired from running around outside. But he definitely follows his attention over to the ships.]

The Security Forces' aircrafts? I think so... Under different circumstances, I wouldn't be surprised if they would have tried to teach us how to use them. [Just like during the draft in outer space.]
