Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

[ There are a lot of things to dislike as far as battles go, especially in cases such as these. Innocent people getting caught up in things, fighting an enemy to the death for no other reason than knowing they'd be trying to kill him, too, not knowing what was going to happen.

But the waiting beforehand has always been particularly unfavorable. Chouji will likely as not not be spending much time in his own room today, in favor of keeping an eye open for people he knows in the halls. ]

[ she eyes him carefully; she isn't used to feeling this much hostility from him. in the wake of what was said after emony's return home, she had expected her big brother to come back to her, eventually. but that eventually seems to be taking a long time.

They'll both be with us in the Distro-Center, with plenty of allies able to back them up if something happens. The moment this Vanitas guy tries to pull something, the only person anyone will be feeling sorry for is him.

[It may not mean much, but he's convinced of what he's saying. He's already prepared for the possibilities of anyone from the 'Villain List' stirring up trouble. If they start attacking allies, then they'll be as much an enemy as any of the Third Party.]

[Vash actually came willingly this time. Having learned his lesson since being dragged down in a towel the first time. Once he arrives in the dorms the first thing Vash does will be checking in with all the "minor shift incompatible" people he knows of. He wants to make sure you all arrived in one piece. He'll be in the halls for awhile until all of them have arrived and he's checked on each one.

After that period of hovering around he'll head for his room with his door shut. Friends will be able to open the door easily and will find Vash loading his pockets with bullets and meticulously cleaning and preparing both of his guns. Don't worry, his arm will look normal if you walk in on him. He just has the extra gun out of it's hiding place for right now. Also - is that rope he's packing? What on Earth could he need THAT for?]

[Flandre just clings to him when Adell staggers backwards, though her wings flare out briefly for balance. Then that growl comes back...kind of. It's more like a kind of muffled grumbly noise this time. And a little whimpering sound, quiet--but noticeable.

This wasn't the first time Flandre had been away from her sister.

...and it probably wouldn't be the last.

But she never liked it when it happened, and she never would.]

[Katara's just on the reserve here, and she's still not sure she's making the best call. On the first day, more than anything, she should be out there with the people she felt responsible for. But she didn't know for sure she'd be with them anyway, when this started, and that's why she trusted them to Trafalgar.

But even Sokka had seemed OK with this. So, here she is, not quite at ease enough to sit, but leaning against the wall. Mostly? Because sitting means she's going to have to pick where she is in relation to Chouji. And even in the midst of a battle strategy this weighs heavy on her mind.

she only remembers the sound of his laugh as he left her best friend for dead on the floor.

[ it sounds easy now, in this plush room, where there's no sounds of war. but once she's out there on the battlefield, she knows how much harder it'll be ... to resist. if she runs into him... if she hears of anything he's done...

[ Hughes won't want to be much for staying long in his assigned room today- once he's called Winry and Elicia to check in and let them know he's arrived, he's back out in the hall, wandering as he will. Staying shut up leads to overthinking things, don't you know.

Though considering that he'll also end up taking some time alone in there to be sure he's ready for this, it's possible to find him in that room later on. ]

[Yeah, Katara is going to be all over the place - checking in the hallways, visiting her brother and his girlfriend, checking in on other friends (normal friends) and generally doing her best to make sure everyone is as ready as possible.

But when she finally gets back to her room, she pushes the button and orders up a hot tub big enough to swim in. After running through a few forms to get used to being back at full power, Katara fills it to the brim with steaming hot water. While she waits for it to cool, with the steam heating the room, she'll be in her bindings and tunic pants running through some yoga moves to limber-up and destress. The door is shut, but if anyone comes knocking she won't do more than peep through the viewing hole before letting them in to her make-shift sauna.]
