Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

[Katara usually finds childish behavior somewhat endearing - and while that holds true in this case to a small extent here, really this display is convincing her more than ever that Masaomi should just not be told these things. Ever. What was she thinking?

At any rate, having maneuvered him away from the door she kicks it shut behind her and drops her hands, now standing in front of it. She can't help but laugh a little, even as she blushes and this is really kind of awkward and horrible at the same time.]

[A hand instinctively goes to her rib, but it will look like a natural motion.] Really strong and really fast. He's... [a gang leader, but she as good as promised that she wouldn't say that. This hesitation lasts barely a half of a second.] a 'street fighter.' Like a brawler.

[And then it drops. Quickly into a flat face but with an even tone. He does this a lot, of course. He shakes his hand dismissively and then leans back a little]

Only if you tell me a name!

[A street fighter. The most he can think of here is some of the thugs in Boiling Rock prison. That still doesn't quite fit what he's seen of Kida.]

Right... well, if he can fight, good enough. [Kida is Shikamaru's responsibility, not Sokka's.]

[But then it relaxes... and he actually looks mildly surprised when it hits him who she is saying]

Chouji-kun, is it?

[...right, so, after the strategy meeting, after Katara talks to Sokka, but before she goes to visit Masamoni (and after Shikamaru does), Katara makes her way back to Shikamaru's room and knocks on the door.]

Hey, Shikamaru?

[... okay, he just stares at Katara. He knows she has a tendency to get focused on these kind of things, but she seems a bit wrapped up in this.]

... worried about him?

[endgames]

[He was just getting ready to leave. He looks over at her, standing by the open door, and slides his tanto sword into the sheath strapped horizontally to his back.]

Hey. What's up?

[Ooooooooooh man, she's doomed. Katara drops her hands from her mouth and squares her shoulders a little defiantly. It's not like he couldn't have figured it out, anyway - might as well see if she can brazen her way through this.]

[...and actually, thinking about him makes her smile a little, so her face is perhaps not as 'brazen this through' as she would want.]

[Entering, she shuts the door behind her.]

There's something that I think I have to tell you that I couldn't tell you in the meeting.

[lol - tact, what's that?]

Maybe a little. I don't think he's had to fight like this before. But I think he'll be all right.

[He folds his arms over his chest, leaning backwards against his desk.]

You'll be coordinating everyone, so I think it's important for you to know all you can about how we fight.

[But even though Shikamaru will see this for himself soon enough, analyzing one of her friends with another one of her friends still feels weird.

But he has to know. To better keep everyone safe.]
