Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

((Mod note: Extra draftees won't experience their Shift Incompatibility handicap in their dorms. :|a))

[ McCoy can be found in his room and has left the door open as he makes some last minute preparations (which mostly involves looking through his medical kit and checking his phaser) at the foot of his bed. he reaches up to rub his arm, but he was satisfied at making Bil's job more difficult by refusing head to the tunnels by himself. ]

I usually come through these things just fine. [ she doesn't want to broach the shifters problem and how much of a threat it genuinely poses. ]

I volunteered to go with the defensive group. [ and he doesn't sound enthused about his choice. after all, there's somebody else on a different team he wants -- hell, needs -- to look out for. ]

Sokka's young, but he has a good head on his shoulders. [ there is a small part of her that wonders what it would be like to work more directly with the boy -- but it had not been quite strong enough of an urge to trump the greater use of hitting up the offensive force. ] It's like he's a natural at this kinda stuff.

I'm not even supposed to be here, Jack. Starfleet isn't meant to interfere in other people's Goddamn wars. I learned all about the eugenics war when I was a kid and at no point in my life did I go hey, I want to get a firsthand experience of this conflict.
