Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

((Mod note: Extra draftees won't experience their Shift Incompatibility handicap in their dorms. :|a))

[For the most part, Raine will be in her room, preparing small pouches of quick-healing supplies for people who will be running around on the field and may run the risk of not being in range of a healer. Gels, potions, anything ingestible that will be of use. The pouches are attachable to clothing and shouldn't get in the way.

She also will be distributing them and poking in to check in on people as well. To those who remember seeing her on the last draft, she definitely seems a lot more relaxed this time around. More focused, at least.]

[Nami comes by on her rounds, pausing to watch Raine for a moment before speaking.]

I guess at least we're not under an ocean this time.

[She glances up at the voice, then smiles when she sees the navigator.] I think that automatically makes for an improvement, this time around.

I think you might be right. There's a lot more freedom of movement when there's a real sky above your head.

[She nods at the packs Raine is putting together.] Can I give you a hand again?

Of course you may. [Having Nami there to help was a big help last time... and it's nice not to do it all alone, either.] Indeed. There's a lot less pressure.

[Snrk. There's a sense of humour in there. She's possibly grinning more at that than the joke, but that made her night nonetheless.]

[She's not incapable.] Right now I'm still organizing the items, but some sets are ready to be put into the bags. [She gestures to where the items are set out-- laid across a board on her bed, then picks up one of the finished sets from the floor.] It's the same as I've showed you before.

[She just thinks that's the first time she's heard it. It's great.] Sure thing. [She'll come in and take a seat to start doing just that.] How have you been, otherwise?

I've been well enough, all things considered. [Ah, how to answer that. She's usually so guarded. She closes the door, trying to seem nonchalant about that movement.] Preparing for battle is just one way to focus the mind.

[ after some disastrous conversations in his room, McCoy will leave before getting into an argument with somebody else who'll risk coming to call on the doctor. with his options narrowed, he eventually wanders over to Raine's room and knock on the door. ]

[Her door isn't closed all the way, so it starts to open a little at his knock. She glances up at the noise.] ... Come in?

Leonard... [And she can tell that there's a tenseness about him. The draft wasn't helping much with his mood, was it. She nods though, as to further confirm his admittance to the room.

[ he strolls in. well, as much as he can with how knotted his shoulders are with tension and shrugs. ] Sore. That blue bas-- well, he wasn't kidding about the droids getting rough.

So here is a knock on his door once Raine gets that far up the hall.]

[It's a slow process, but he does whip himself up from his bed and answer the door. ...Truth be told, he's surprised to see one of his teachers there. He tries to think of something snappy to say, but the fear gets in the way of that, so he settles for polite]

Sensei, did you need something?

... Hello, Masaomi. [She tilts her head at him.] Are you all right? I've been handing out curative supplies for those who will be out on the field.

Curative? Like... bandages?

[He blinks, cocking his head and trying to think of positive thoughts. He also tries to shrug off the asking if he's alright]

There are some bandages, but I meant more along the lines of gels and potions. [She holds an apple gel out as an example.] Consuming them will help refresh you when you're feeling battle weary. Going to a healer or doctor directly is more ideal, of course, but that won't always be immediately available. [And probably not as reliable, should Shifters come into play.]

[He sounds a little incredulous because while he had heard of things like this, he didn't honestly trust if this would work or not]
