Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

((Mod note: Extra draftees won't experience their Shift Incompatibility handicap in their dorms. :|a))

[Vincent strides down the hall with a hardened look on his face. As soon as he gets to his room, he heads in to begin immediately requesting needed items. Last draft didn't go so well, so he's determined to fully prepare. He's so focused on that, and thinking about the shifting effects they'll have to contend with out there, that he's left the door wide open.]

[Looking around the hall and spotting that familiar red cape, which is always a welcome sight for Jay.]

[There's a nod of acknowledgment as he approaches. Vincent is also glad to see someone he's started considering more and more as an ally.]

[Although at least they get... some notice when it comes to these battles. Too bad the same can't always be said of experiments and so on.]

It's true, we'll never know what may turn up on the battlefield. But we can be confident in our ability to deal with it.

I'm as ready as can be expected...I don't feel any strange effects yet.

[Vincent gives him an interested glance at that remark. He knows he'd been sent along on that additional list, after all.]

Perhaps that won't manifest until we're on the field... [Pauses.] I doubt I have to remind you to proceed with caution.

[He pauses, wondering what kind of effects he may suffer out there.]

No, it won't be necessary. [He's all about caution, after all.] However, perhaps I should remind you to do so.

They gave no indication of... how impaired you might be?

[From what he'd seen, he didn't think so, but maybe Jay heard other information since.]

These shifts seem to have random effects, like during the experiments. We never know what effects we may see when they test their shifts on us.

Hi, Vincent. Everything all right? [...well, there's the obvious part that they're in a battle and all. Recent events might have left her with a heavy heart, but that's not keeping her from checking on friends.]

[Vincent glances to Aerith and eventually nods, knowing that they simply have to deal with what happens. They aren't given much choice in Luceti, unfortunately.]

It seems to be... Are you prepared for the battle?

That's right. Ready to go! And I'll be with another friend, so I won't be alone. What are you planning to do, Vincent? Maybe... [She hesitates; it's just natural for her to invite people along, but with what's happening at the moment, that might not be such a good idea.]

[Which Vincent can understand. It's been a while since he's stayed closely to a group for fighting, but it's not like he hasn't before. Besides he planned to at least keep something of an eye out anyway. It wouldn't be fair or right to let her die again.]
