Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

[Frey, after checking in with his group and those he knows to make sure they're settling in, will be in his room making sure of his own preparations. His armor and usual battle outfit is set out on his bed, as well as his weapon and the rune scrolls he requested but is still not quite sure how to implement in the battle plan.]

[Normally, there are far too many people for one strategist to keep up with, but thanks to the division of groups this time, that isn't the case. This is one of those rare times where Caesar will make the effort to check in on not just his team, but also anyone he thinks is important enough to check on.

...not that there are many people like that. In fact, you probably have to be from his world to earn that honor. And look, Freyjadour is one of those people! And so, Caesar will knock on the Prince's door. Normally, and not obnoxiously at all.]

[Frey will walk over, opening the door. Thinking he'd see a teammate or perhaps Ceodore, he's a bit surprised to see Caesar standing there.] Hello Caesar.

Hello, Your Highness. [He gives a quick wave of his hand.] Everything all right?

I am well. You are as well, I hope? [Opening the door wider and motioning that he can come in. Talking in the hall is awkward, afterall.]

Certainly, certainly. [He'll walk in when Freyjadour gestures for him to do so. He wouldn't stay long, but if he was offering to let him come in, he wouldn't decline.] How is everything? Do you have everything you need?

That's good to hear. [He'll gesture to the rune scrolls and his.... armor, on the bed.] I think so. I requested some rune scrolls, and I can't really think of much else that would be useful in a group like mine. It's very focused on close range melee combat.

I see. Even so, the rune scrolls may still come in handy. You never know when you might need a little extra rune magic. Already acquainted with your group, I assume?

I knew almost all of them before the draft, luckily.

[And have another knock on your door, Frey. About time these two meet face to face and Asad could use a familiar face of sorts to talk to.]

[Frey will head over to the door and open it.] Hello.....?

[After a moment, he recognizes the face from the journals.] ....Asad?

It's a pleasure to finally meet you, too. Would you like to come in? [Manners. It would be rude not to let him in out of the hall.]

[Not like he'd be insulted or anything.] Sure. [And he'll step inside.] This place sure reminds me a bit of our castle, though a bit more subdued. Needs a bigger room for the strategists to gather and plan things.

Now that you mention it, it's kind of like Ceras Lake's Castle. Just a little. With all the people.

Errr.... maybe some might say that, but really we just drained the lake.

[Kida seemed pretty sold on having Frey be their leader, and that Shikamaru guy didn't have too much of a problem with it, but... It'll take more than that to convince Gold. He knows good leaders when he sees them. He's dealt with his fair share of leaders, both good and bad, on opposite ends of the morality scale. Hell, he's BEEN in a leadership position before. If Frey's going to be their leader out there, Gold has to believe that for himself.

And that is why he is knocking on Frey's door.]

[Frey was just setting out the rune scrolls he'd gotten when he hears the door knock. Wondering who it is, he'll head over to the door and open it.] Hello, Gold. Did you need anything?

Let's talk. Now.

[falenandawn]

[that.... didn't sound at all friendly.] Of course. Would you like to come in?

[mischiefbreeder]

Yeah. [If Frey's remembered anything of Gold's usual behavior from their previous encounters, he'd notice that Gold is, well... acting different.]

[He notices, all right. But he'll let him in regardless, thinking this is about the upcoming battle.] Is there a problem?

[He steps in, closing the door behind him.]

Maybe. That depends.

Depends....? On what?
