Your characters are shuffling off to their rooms. Each room has their name beside it and only they can open the door. People can only enter their room if they're allowed in (or they leave the door open). Characters will find any requested items in their room already. If they have a requested vehicle, there will be another door in their room that will take them to the hangar to inspect their equipment.

Care to join me? We have some time before heading out there, I think. Besides, I wanted to talk to you about something.

[Nothing bad, so says her look, since she's sure his mind will go there if allowed.]

[Kain raises a eyebrow in curiosity after he's removed his helmet. He's still not as calm inwardly as he should be, and is unused to feeling so anxious about a battle. Usually he almost looks forward to it.]

[But he approaches and mouths a question on what it is, having writing things nearby in case it's really needed.]

[Rydia beckons to him again, ready to help with removing that armor though she hates to move away from the hot tub to do it. She silent for a moment, then speaks up.]

About what Selphie told you...will you be okay with it?

[Because as much as she would rather leave the house and its past, it's Kain's home as well. If he dislikes the idea, she'd rather know before they solidify plans upon returning.]

[He takes his time with the armor, thinking that over. He can see the reasoning behind it, although he's reluctant. When he eases into the water, he still keeps the writing stuff close by so he can reply.]

I'd not want to be too much closer to others. Nor am I eager to have a house with one floor...

[He has a thing for staring out windows and sitting on roofs...]

[She nods, understanding his line of reasoning well enough by now.]

I think there are smaller houses with two stories. We can check out those when we get back. The one next door, at the end of the road, would be ideal but I'm pretty sure it's still taken.

[Because really their location right now is pretty ideal for Kain, being out of the way of everything. Even if he'd have to admit to a lot of bad memories being attached to that house...]

I know, and we'll keep that in mind. I wouldn't want to ask you to move to a location you couldn't stand. I just...need somewhere else.

[She moves closer to him, though keeps to that non-writing side for the moment.]

At least it will get warmer soon, and we can think about spending more time in the mountains? Just the two of us....

Very well. No matter what you choose... I would prefer as much time as possible spent in the mountains.

[The breaks from civilization seem to do him good overall, and make him less prone to snapping at people.]

[Rydia nods slowly at that, trying to smother that unease as best she can. It's hard for her to hide emotions, but...Kain needs to do this, and she won't be the one holding him back from regaining something so vital to him.]

I think that's a good idea. You've needed this for a while, and...it's best before another experiment happens. You don't want to be returned in the middle of one, either.

That's why I would be cautious in how I time it, so that I don't risk such a thing.

[Good. He'll be doing that. Kain takes her hand and squeezes it, he's glad he has her support in this. Since... he still isn't very much looking forward to putting his fate in THEIR hands like that.]

[Well, read. Whatever. The time for writing is done, though, and if she wants to know more, there are better ways to convey it. Time to close in and distract them both from everything for a little while.]
