[Even if she's having no problems, Jack is going to abruptly steal one of her kills when it comes flying down at her from the air. Twenty rounds of bullets fired from the two P90s he's firing. He's wearing a self-satisfied smirk as he watches the angelic warrior fall to the ground.]

I've been doing well. They are slightly stronger than the soldiers I fought back in my home, but I can handle them with ease.

[Well, speaking of handling them with ease, here comes another handful. Seeing as he's got backup at the moment, he puts the P90s away and draws his saber. The kind they give to civil war officers. Also, notably enough, probably not the kind that's going to survive this draft seeing as how he never used it with super strength.]

I see. [She says, turning to the new handful. She too raises her sword again, letting a dull golden glow shine from it, and prepares herself for the incoming wave.]

Not at all. I'll take the left and you'll take the right?

[Glowing swords. Sigh. He really needs a better sword.]

You've got it. [As they come swarming in, Jack will just dive in. His style is not very elegant. For as much as he's slicing and stabbing the enemies, he's also clubbing them with the flat of the blade or with the hilt. Hell, sometimes he settles for just punching them in the face or kicking them in the gut. There's nothing poetic about how he fights.]

[Unlike the man's wild style, Saber's swings and motions are refined and polished. To anyone who watched it would be clear that she was no amateur. With every strike she made she would easily change her direction without losing her current speed, striking multiple enemies around her within a few short seconds. Every now and then her eye caught Jack's movements, but she did not dwell on them. There were larger things to take care of than critiquing the fighting style of another solider.]

[Jack's style is hardly a symptom of inexperience. It's bloody, visceral, but effective. A millenia of experience, all self learned, rolled up into one. Although he does have to give Saber credit for style. When he finishes up early, he takes the time to watch her finish up the remaining few. No interference this time.]

[Saber has always been a perfectionist, so fighting down multiple enemies take longer for her. If she needed to finish off quickly she could have just unleashed Excalibur and be done with them within a few seconds. But, that wasn't the way she wanted to do it. So, she finishes off her enemies a few minutes later than Jack, admittedly glad that he didn't intrude like the last time. It would ruin the momentum she had built up to now.

So when the last one falls, she takes a moment to breath, and then turns back to Jack.]

You are unharmed, yes?

[Unharmed? He glances at his arm. There's a gash there. Or was. It's just bloody now.]

Looks like I'm still in one piece. How about you? Hope you didn't get too much blood on you. [Unlike Jack, who already had bloodstained clothing.]

[Her armor is also stained in splatters of blood, both her's and the enemy's, and it looks like a several small smashes below her chest were inflicted from the dents in her armor. Yet despite that she doesn't look too worn out, given how many she fought at once.]

[She says with a small huff. Not that she was expecting to be taken completely seriously. Her eyes wander around the field, when she notices a figure in the distance. One that does not look like a friendly ally.]

[And a big'n at that. A seven foot, bearded, heavily armored one with a battle axe of matching size. Probably an Elite, by the looks of it. If it's like the simulated one, this one will be a bitch to deal with. It was like a friggin' juggernaut.]

[She frowned at the size of the man. He was not nearly as large as the Berserker she fought during the Grail Wars, but she wouldn't be surprised if she was close to being as strong. She turned to Jack, her eyes now those of a stern knight.]

It may be wise to team up against such a foe. We do not know if reinforcements will come following, so taking him down quickly should be the priority.

[Jack is already seeing this turning out to be very painful for him. A simulated version had some fun tossing him around. But if it comes to it, he'll pump this bastard so full of lead he'll be shitting pencils. He turns to Saber with a cocky grin.]

Teaming up already? And to think... we've only just met.

[He gives his sword a nice little flourish as he sizes the guy up. "Please don't let him be a quick healer."

He'll go barreling in first, avoiding the vertical axe swing and going for a horizontal swing of the sword. True, his blade does cut through the bastard, but only in the same way it would an oak tree. It gets stuck in the fleshy bit and throws off his momentum. A fist to the face quickly follows, sending both him and blade sprawling to the ground.]
