Summary: An amusement park has popped up in Luceti. It's all over here.
Rating: F is for friends who do stuff together!

Just some notes here not in the mod post -
1) The weather will be bright and partly cloudy for the rest of the month on the beach side of things. A nice cool sea breeze will keep people from melting out there.
2) All the old Luceti Land rides are still available. However, feel free to make up your own attractions and rides as well.
3) Since this is around for two weeks, we may put up another mass log if this one gets too full. So keep an eye on that!
4) Don't forget to tag your character's name on to the log! If you don't have one yet, just let us know and we'll get you hooked up.

As way of explanation for all this, Bil will have written a message on the first page of the journals. It cannot be replied to, it simply states:

"My condolences for all the trouble. You were due for an experiment today, but I thought you might enjoy an amusement park instead. It seemed like the sort of thing the Great One would do."

Kurt!

[ TOTALLY UNAWARE OF THIS DUDE'S RAPUNZEL SCHEMES, Flynn will catch up to him three or four days in, with a cheerful wave. He's got a big stuffed bear under his arm. ]

[bamfing]

Hey Flynn!

[Kurt waves him on over. Right now Kurt is headed to the water park, so he has a duffle bag with a towel and other essentials packed.] Dude, where have you been?

[ What is a water park, even. Well, okay, by now he knows, which is why he's got a satchel of his own, though his outfit is a little different today -- he's missing his normal blue vest. ... and, uh, instead of boots, he's got flip flops on. Work with him, here. Flynn catches up, falling into step beside him. ]

What kind of question is that? I have been everywhere, doing everything. This place is amazing. I've never seen anything like it before! We definitely don't have stuff like this back home.

[bamfing]

[Wow Flynn, you almost look like you belong here. Almost.]

Pretty normal where I'm from, actually. So you've hit up the roller coasters, yeah?

You bet! I'm not gonna lie, first time? I thought I was gonna die. But after that? Best thing ever! [ He might be picking up on some of Rapunzel's enthusiasm, possibly. ] Wish I could build this back home. I'd be filthy rich!

[bamfing]

[Having met Rapunzel, it won't take long for him to notice that.] Nah, it seems great at first, but you'd go bankrupt with all the insurance fees.

Insurance? [ Somewhat blankly. What's that... ]

[bamfing]

You don't have that where you're from? What about lawyers?

... lawyers? Yeah, pretty sure. They're the guys who argue things in a court, right? You know, assuming you get a trial.

[bamfing]

[Dude, that's so Dark Ages. And depressing.]

In my world, they mostly argue about who owns what or who hurt who. All the time.

[ After a beat, Flynn just grins and shrugs fluidly. ] Wouldn't know. People like me typically don't get lawyers. They're pricey! Pretty sure I'd never get a trial anyway. Guess that makes it a good thing I'm here, huh? [ He's trying to make light of it for a reason. He DIDN'T get a trial -- he got nothing, really, except a quick promise of execution. ]

[bamfing]

Your world is kind of lame, man. No offense. [But then, he is from a fairy tale world, so Kurt shouldn't be expecting much.]

[ He chuckles. ] It can be. But you know what? It's peaceful. [ ... and then he pauses. Where on earth did that thought come from? Just a few short weeks ago he would have heartily agreed. What with being chased by guards all the time, having to deal with those awful wanted posters... when did he ever care about something like peace?

For a moment, he's very thoughtful. He has to physically shake himself out of it to recover, but his smile is not at all convincing. ] Still, though. Totally lame. Worst rulers ever, chasing around people like me for little crimes like stealing. I mean, who does that, right? [ ... this is not working out at all, right now. What's meant to be a joke makes him feel guilty, instead. Dammit. ]

[bamfing]

[Oh. Right, Flynn had admitted to being a thief, hadn't he?]

What did you steal?

Oh, you know. This and that. [ As noncommittal as possible. ... though he does allow one admission. ]

You know, my greatest heist was supposed to be stealing the lost princess's tiara. Right from under the noses of like ten guards! Managed it, too. Well ... to a point. [ His smile is crooked. ] Kingdom liked me even less than usual after that one.

[bamfing]

[A princess's tiara, huh? That explains a lot!]

That's how you met Rapunzel, yeah?

[ Flynn blinks at him for a moment, wondering how he actually knew that, then shrugs and nods. ] Yep. Stumbled my way into the glade where her tower was by accident while I was running from a -- from the guards. [ From a horse... it's still too embarrassing to admit. ] Thinking I'd found safety I climbed inside .... aaand promptly got hit over the head with a frying pan. [ He rubs the back of his head as he gives a grin that is half wince. ]
