Summary: An amusement park has popped up in Luceti. It's all over here.
Rating: F is for friends who do stuff together!

Just some notes here not in the mod post -
1) The weather will be bright and partly cloudy for the rest of the month on the beach side of things. A nice cool sea breeze will keep people from melting out there.
2) All the old Luceti Land rides are still available. However, feel free to make up your own attractions and rides as well.
3) Since this is around for two weeks, we may put up another mass log if this one gets too full. So keep an eye on that!
4) Don't forget to tag your character's name on to the log! If you don't have one yet, just let us know and we'll get you hooked up.

As way of explanation for all this, Bil will have written a message on the first page of the journals. It cannot be replied to, it simply states:

"My condolences for all the trouble. You were due for an experiment today, but I thought you might enjoy an amusement park instead. It seemed like the sort of thing the Great One would do."

[Grune beams at his applause.] Oh, thank you! [And, after his shot:] You almost got it!

[She picks up another Bombchu, once again hangs onto it for far too long, and lets go.

…Well, now she knows for certain the first chicken is fire resistant.]

Giles' next Bombchu lends credence to the theory that the second chicken is also fire resistant.

[And Grune'S next Bombchu...somehow manages to end up on the ceiling.

[...Giles is fairly certain that you just broke some important law of physics, Grune. Damned if he knows which one.

Right. Moment of truth. Final countdown. All or nothing.

Giles sets the Bombchu down.

...he's fairly certain that it didn't actually hit the target straight enough to count as a victory. But the droid host of the booth somehow seems to have taken pity on them, and indicates that they can pick something from the lower rack of plushies.]

...better than nothing, I suppose.

[Oh, it's very possible to get Bombchus on the ceiling without breaking the laws of physics. Especially if you're not very good with them, sigh.]

Oh, did we win?

Yes, we did. We can take anything off of that row. [He indicates it.] Which would you like?

Don't you want to pick?

[After all, he did work very hard.]

[And so did she.

Eventually, Giles settles on a squirrel in a top hat. It has a very fluffy tail.] What about this?

[She smiles.] Oh, he's very cute. His tail must be nice and soft.

Feel for yourself. [He nods to the droid that, yes, they're going with this, before passing the squirrel to Grune.]

[Her smile grows.] He's very cuddly, too. Here. You can feel him, too.

[She offers the toy for Giles to take.]

Thank you, Grune. [Giles takes the toy and holds it tightly in one hand, as he leads Grune by the hand away from the booth so the next and hopefully less hopeless customers can go next. He examines their prize curiously as they go.]

...it is very nice.

I just wonder what we'll do with all of these toys we keep winning.

Maybe we can give them to people who haven't been able to win very many on their own.

[She's sure that would make them very happy.]

If we can find someone like that. Most of the others I've seen so far have put my abilities at this game to shame.

[Her surprise at hearing this might be a little gratifying.]

[He's pretty sure you'd say that about everyone, Grune.]

Oh, yes. A few of them have probably had more practice, at the least. I've never been to a park like this before, after all.

Never really had the time. [Or the inclination.] And there wasn't any place like this nearby where I used to live. Didn't see the point in traveling as far as I would have had to just to see it.
