Summary: An amusement park has popped up in Luceti. It's all over here.
Rating: F is for friends who do stuff together!

Just some notes here not in the mod post -
1) The weather will be bright and partly cloudy for the rest of the month on the beach side of things. A nice cool sea breeze will keep people from melting out there.
2) All the old Luceti Land rides are still available. However, feel free to make up your own attractions and rides as well.
3) Since this is around for two weeks, we may put up another mass log if this one gets too full. So keep an eye on that!
4) Don't forget to tag your character's name on to the log! If you don't have one yet, just let us know and we'll get you hooked up.

As way of explanation for all this, Bil will have written a message on the first page of the journals. It cannot be replied to, it simply states:

"My condolences for all the trouble. You were due for an experiment today, but I thought you might enjoy an amusement park instead. It seemed like the sort of thing the Great One would do."

[ Kind of suspicious?? Maybe. Her mouth presses into a line as she awaits the answer... ]

[ She stares a moment longer, trying to spot signs of LYING or KNOWING MORE THAN HE SHOULD. In the end though, he may have a different way of going about it, but he's just about as honest as she is, so...

She shakes her head as she finally shifts into standing up, quickly brushing sand off herself. ]

[ Lightning's mind is filled with stupid stuff: little drawings in the sand and milkshakes and and and... the thought that she really needs to sort things out here. She looks up at his face, crossing one arm over to hang onto the other.

But then she's thinking about roller coasters instead. Uh. It'd be a bad idea to just totally push his question aside, right? ]

Ah... not exactly.

[ Tone: dry. What she has done is derail actual trains and beat up all the baddies on board using a device to control gravity. And ride a giant magic robot pony to behead monsters with huge electrified swords. And... other stuff. Does that count? ]

[Sure, it could count! If he knew about it. He glances sidelong at her - he's still getting the very strong feeling that something's not quite right with her - then shrugs, lifting his hands to rest behind his head.]

I never have! Actually, I've never been to an amusement park, either. But it looks like a lot of fun, doesn't it?

[ Hnnn, responding questions might be a little odd, but keeping up this kind of conversation while she's distracted otherwise-- proof she's actually managed to come a long way? She narrows her eyes as she thinks about it. ] Maybe you should have opted for something like this, rather than those beach vacations...

Both! I'm really looking forward to it. And I would've gone to the Gold Saucer if the company had let me! But the company didn't wanna pay for it. Sending me to Costa del Sol was cheaper because they own a private villa for employees.

[ She presses her hands against the small of her back as they walk, kind of subtly following half a step behind, looking to ease some of the tension in her shoulders. Consider her awareness very high as she does so that... even if she does wear arm/leg/midriff-baring stuff in the village too, right now she's basically agreeing to appear in public wearing a swimsuit and a short shirt. That annoys her, a little, but... it's also not as if there's anything else she could have put on, right? ]
