Luceti Land!!

Who: [livejournal.com profile] luceti
What: Amusement Parking!
When: Today til the end of the month
Where: A veritable pleasure island, east of the Beach Fort.
Summary: An amusement park has popped up in Luceti. It's all over here.
Rating: F is for friends who do stuff together!

Just some notes here not in the mod post -
1) The weather will be bright and partly cloudy for the rest of the month on the beach side of things. A nice cool sea breeze will keep people from melting out there.
2) All the old Luceti Land rides are still available. However, feel free to make up your own attractions and rides as well.
3) Since this is around for two weeks, we may put up another mass log if this one gets too full. So keep an eye on that!
4) Don't forget to tag your character's name on to the log! If you don't have one yet, just let us know and we'll get you hooked up.

As way of explanation for all this, Bil will have written a message on the first page of the journals. It cannot be replied to, it simply states:

"My condolences for all the trouble. You were due for an experiment today, but I thought you might enjoy an amusement park instead. It seemed like the sort of thing the Great One would do."

[Leo nods. He sounds pretty unique than, if there's only six of them in total. He finally manages to draw his gaze back to the park. He glances at Marco when he speaks though.]

So, what are you doing up here?
fierybluebird: (brothers)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-08-25 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
Old habits die hard. I come from a family of 1600. Heights are a good way to look out for danger, eh?

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-08-28 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
Sixteen hundred? [He has to be joking, that's just a crazy number for a family to be.]

It's great for looking out for danger, yeah. The city I'm from has some pretty tall buildings in it. They make most of the Luceti ones look tiny.
fierybluebird: (hm?)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-08-28 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
My father's dream was for a very large family. He succeeded, eh?

Eh, really?? I'm from the ocean, so tall buildings standing alone is... almost unheard of. That or carved into the side of cliffs. [Marineford was huge, but since that's the marines it has cooties.]

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-08-29 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
[He chuckles a little.] I would say he definitely did.

Yeah, the ocean is no place for tall buildings.

[Not that Leo is an architect, but he can't see them in the ocean either.]

You must be on boats a lot than.
fierybluebird: (My Pops is bigger than yours)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-08-29 10:00 am (UTC)(link)
Hah, family is the best thing to proud of a man for, I think.

Yes ships. I've been sailing for decades now. The Moby Dick is our flagship and then we had several other similar ones to her that served as backup. [And because a family of 1600 is hard to fit even on one freaking huge ship.] Well... she was our flagship. [Small wrenched gut look. You probably don't want to ask too much about that right now.]

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-08-30 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
I'm from a small family. Three brothers and our father.

[He won't ask, he knows that look.]

You must have seen a lot of your world than. [At least the parts not covered in water.]
fierybluebird: (take a walk on the wild side)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-08-30 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
Quality over quantity, eh? So long as you're really close, I think that's all that matters.

And you'd be surprised. My crew usually just stays around the New World these days. Although that's pretty exciting as it is.

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-08-30 07:00 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, we're definitely close.

[It helps that most of their life, all they had was just each other. Having to hide from the rest of the world]

Really?
fierybluebird: (fond grin)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-08-30 08:04 am (UTC)(link)
[A nod.] Glad to hear it.

And yeah, really. The whole world is too much hassle. The islands already in our territory are enough hassle... and a lot of times too much much even then.

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-08-31 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Sounds like quite a world than. Does everyone in your world work on boats? [Or at least the parts Marco knows.]
fierybluebird: (take a walk on the wild side)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-09-01 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
No, but it's the only way to get anywhere. If you don't mind living on one island your whole life, you don't need ships, but it tends to bore most adventurous types.

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-09-02 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[Leo nods.]

I imagine so, especially for those that like action.
fierybluebird: (you found me)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-09-02 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Aye. But if you're that type, there's plenty of opportunities for the dangerous life, eh.

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-09-05 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
[He nods.]

Good to have something for every type.
fierybluebird: (smile glasses)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-09-05 08:55 am (UTC)(link)
[Grins.] Of course.

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-09-06 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
My world there's more people that work on the land, than on the water. Most of the world is known. [And yet sometimes they still seem to find unknown places and things.]
fierybluebird: (thinking)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-09-07 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
Seriously? Well... how much is "most"?

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-09-07 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
They're still finding places under the ocean that they haven't explored. [Or at least from what he's heard on the news.] Some new place, new species of animals.
fierybluebird: (looking away purple)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-09-07 08:31 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that sounds mostly explored all right if that's all that's left to discover. Your world doesn't have spots that would be impossible to realy explore fully?

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-09-12 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
[He looks thoughtful.]

There probably are. I just haven't heard of them. [Not everything is reported after all.]
fierybluebird: (thinking)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-09-12 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
Understood. Besides... I suppose just because people know of every place in the world doesn't mean any one person could see all of it, eh.

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-09-14 07:42 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. I know I haven't been too many places on my world. A few to another country, another part of the world. But what I have seen have been nice.

[He has a feeling though, that names wouldn't matter to Marco. Since he wouldn't know them.]
fierybluebird: (looking forward to the future)

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-09-14 08:45 am (UTC)(link)
Still must be interesting, eh?

Does your world have a lot of fishmen?

[identity profile] honorthecode.livejournal.com 2011-09-19 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I've seen plenty of action.

[He glances out at the park again, checking for trouble, only none at the moment. He looks back to Marco]

It does. A lot of types of fish are served.
