Summary: An amusement park has popped up in Luceti. It's all over here.
Rating: F is for friends who do stuff together!

Just some notes here not in the mod post -
1) The weather will be bright and partly cloudy for the rest of the month on the beach side of things. A nice cool sea breeze will keep people from melting out there.
2) All the old Luceti Land rides are still available. However, feel free to make up your own attractions and rides as well.
3) Since this is around for two weeks, we may put up another mass log if this one gets too full. So keep an eye on that!
4) Don't forget to tag your character's name on to the log! If you don't have one yet, just let us know and we'll get you hooked up.

As way of explanation for all this, Bil will have written a message on the first page of the journals. It cannot be replied to, it simply states:

"My condolences for all the trouble. You were due for an experiment today, but I thought you might enjoy an amusement park instead. It seemed like the sort of thing the Great One would do."

Just remember that girls are strange, Nill. Incredibly strange. [He's still just monitoring her though.] He seems rather calm around you...have you handled snakes at home before?

[Oh... Nill hasn't met many incredibly strange girls, but Draco must have some experience with them if he could make statements like that. Maybe she was a little strange, handling something that just wrapped around her neck and poked at her face with its tongue, but she found it so endearing...]

[She looks up from patting the snake's little head when Draco asks his question. Nill shakes her head in response--she's mostly dealt with puppies and kittens. She hasn't really seen anything like this before. She hasn't even seen a demi-human who had characteristics like this animal.]

[Snake still around her neck, Nill takes Draco's hand again and leads him over to the less-exotic animals: namely the dogs and cats. She points at them and nods, then pats the snake again and shakes her head.]

[No, Draco just tends to think everyone but himself is strange. But when she leads him to the smaller animals, he takes a look before glancing at the snake again. Between Nill and Ginia, he's getting much better at understanding things without words.]

Ah. Normal animals, then. [He crouches a bit to get a better look at the dogs and cats in front of them.] These make more sense, but I won't reprimand you for going above and beyond your expectations. Besides, cats and dogs are far too common.

[Normal animals... yes, Nill supposes these would be considered normal--given the sort of strange things that are in the rest of the zoo. It was more likely to see demi-humans who were born with features of cats and dogs, because those animals were cute. They were kept as pets before someone had the idea to start giving humans cute features... and start selling them.]

[Nill looks sadly at the kittens sleeping in little piles in the cage, and picks one up to pet. Now she has a cat in her arms and a snake around her neck. She's starting a collection, it seems.]

[Of course even with all of that, he still can't quite decipher everything, which is why he's a bit confused when Nill's face clouds over a bit.]

What's that look for anyway? I wasn't aware kittens were a sad thing.

[Right, kittens aren't a sad thing, not at all. Draco didn't need to know about where Nill came from, what she was, any of that. Not right now at least. They were at an amusement park--it could wait until some other time.]

[She shakes her head to indicate she's alright, smiles, and offers the sleepy kitten to Draco. She has a snake, he can have a kitten!]

[Oh, someday he'll learn. Maybe. He'll try anyway, because Draco's the master of hiding things. However he doesn't get much of a chance to say anything for there's suddenly a kitten in front of him.

A little known fact about Draco Malfoy is that he actually kind of likes cats. Rather dignified creatures, and ever since Lyncis (he didn't give a damn if her name was Chii, it was Lyncis to him) left the first time, he hadn't found another cat he liked. So he nods slowly and takes the kitten, scratching it behind the ears briefly.]
