I see the bad moon rising / I see trouble on the way

Who: Everyone!
What: There are these crazy masks everywhere, you see. And does the moon look strange to you?
When: The 23rd through the 30th. (If you want to backdate a thread in here to the 22nd for some reason, feel free. A separate log for the day of Halloween will go up at a later date!)
Where: Everywhere!
Summary: Things are starting to get a little spooky around here. What with masks that range from silly to creepy to downright menacing turning up everywhere, the people wearing them beginning to act strangely, and that menacing moon looking down.... why, it's starting to feel a little like Halloween.
Rating: Anywhere from G to hard R for violence, I'd imagine.

Despite the fact that you are inside the fountain, she follows you, wetting the pretty dress she's wearing, knife in hand, higher, higher...

[He looks up just in time to see Peach raising her knife, but before he knows it, she's wrapped her arms around him, and... yes, "extremely confused" is the best way to describe what he's feeling right now.]

[She doesn't seem to be moving, but this is definitely a hug. Should he hug her back? Claude does so tentatively.

He has no idea what is happening right now.]

[Claude can't see it behind her creepy mask, but she's actually smiling wide while she's hugging him.

And she's more than glad that he hugs her back!

She holds him tighter, but not too much. She doesn't want to hurt him!]

[This is a good (if a little scary) hug. He's still not sure what's going on! It takes a moment, but he finally speaks up once he thinks of something to say.]
