By the time morning hits Luceti, the Moon has begun to breach the barrier, noticeable by how the barrier will fluctuate about the Moon's face in strange ribbons of energy. The oceans and lakes begin to rage as they are caught by the Moon's gravity. The ground begins to quake in an unsettling way. Small and harmless tremors that will slowly intensify over the course of the day. With the Moon already partway through the barrier, it will be noticeable that it is not quite as large as the real Moon. Though quite vast, the Moon itself does is not quite the entire size of Luceti, but is large enough to span the entire village and more. The Moon's angered face does not cease for a moment, even as it becomes the only sight in the sky.

Yet it remains in the sky, slowly breaking through the barrier, and proving indestructible in spite of all that is thrown at it. In the evening it will begin to cause gravitational disturbances, drawing up debris and small objects into the air. When it finally reaches midnight, the bottom of the Moon will be one mile above Luceti. At that point, all will suddenly black out and know no more. What becomes of the Moon? Does Luceti go splat? Will CJ finally get his moon rocks? Stay tuned!

[Luke very nearly falters when he hears that voice. His elbow suddenly gives out, only for him to straighten it out again with a cringe. Tear... No, why did she have to be up here? She was supposed to be down in the tunnels, helping evacuate or just - staying safe.

He looks up again, staring at the moon, though he yells only for Tear to hear.]

Tear, what are you doing here?! Go down to the tunnels!

No! [He didn't have to do this, he didn't have to do this. She knows how dangerous it is for her to be near him, but the thought of what would happen if Luke disappeared as a result of this, how much it would affect not only herself but everyone else who knows him.]

Please, don't do this. [She stops only a few feet behind him, trying to resist going any closer because she knows how the hyperresonance can go out of control if Luke doesn't focus hard enough, destroying not only himself but so much more.]

I have to! [Whereas Luke's thoughts were very different. He knows that he could die from this, and he's willing to go that far to stop the moon from destroying everything. He doesn't realize that his body could literally fall apart... But he does know, at least, that going too far would mean his death.

He grits his teeth and opens his eyes in a squint. He knows that Tear's nearby, and it honestly scares him. No, she can't get too close, she...]

Everyone else is giving everything they can to stop this thing! I can't just sit by and not do anything! I have this power for a reason, Tear!
