Let 'em say we're crazy, I don't care about that!

Who: Everyone!
What: The final day. Moonfall. Twenty-Four hours remain. How do you spend it?
When: The 30th, all day
Where: Anywhere
Summary: The last day. The end has come. The moon is coming down and piercing the barrier. Nothing can stop it.

By the time morning hits Luceti, the Moon has begun to breach the barrier, noticeable by how the barrier will fluctuate about the Moon's face in strange ribbons of energy. The oceans and lakes begin to rage as they are caught by the Moon's gravity. The ground begins to quake in an unsettling way. Small and harmless tremors that will slowly intensify over the course of the day. With the Moon already partway through the barrier, it will be noticeable that it is not quite as large as the real Moon. Though quite vast, the Moon itself does is not quite the entire size of Luceti, but is large enough to span the entire village and more. The Moon's angered face does not cease for a moment, even as it becomes the only sight in the sky.

Yet it remains in the sky, slowly breaking through the barrier, and proving indestructible in spite of all that is thrown at it. In the evening it will begin to cause gravitational disturbances, drawing up debris and small objects into the air. When it finally reaches midnight, the bottom of the Moon will be one mile above Luceti. At that point, all will suddenly black out and know no more. What becomes of the Moon? Does Luceti go splat? Will CJ finally get his moon rocks? Stay tuned!

[That starfish is fairly distracting, in retrospect . . .

But they can't look for Fuuko without going all over the place if she doesn't know where he typically would be. So Nagisa's, it is.]

Where does Nagisa live?

Community building three! Fuuko lives there with Nagisa-san. Will we be able to make it in time...?

Oh, can Fuuko learn your name? Fuuko would like to thank you for your help properly.

Hubert Ozwell. [Back on topic:] So long as we make haste there will be time.

Thank you very much for helping Fuuko in Fuuko's time of need, Hubert-san!

[Raising her hand and waving it about a little, almost as though to declare her thanks to anyone around her.]

Should we run?

[How very . . . childish.

But he nods at the question, and, trusting her to follow, takes off on a moderate run. Not too slow to waste time, and not too fast to wear himself out and maybe leave Fuuko behind without meaning to.

Into the third community building they go!]

[And follow she shall, trailing along just behind him as she jogs to keep up.

Once they're inside community building three, Fuuko moves to the stairs and starts rushing up them quickly.]

Nagisa-san lives on the third floor, room twelve! Come on Hubert-san!!

[He's going, he's going; calm your starfish, girl. He bolts up the stairs and heads straight for room twelve without a word.

The question is, is Nagisa there?]

[Arriving at the room with Hubert and making her way inside.]

Nagisa-san?! Are you here? It's Fuuko!

[Of course it's Fuuko, she would know that... Or she would had she been there. Fuuko checks each room of the apartment but there seems to be no signs of her. Her giant stuffed dangos are here, as are her other belongings, but not Nagisa herself.]

Nagisa-san! [Shouting her name won't do much good now... And yet Fuuko shouts on anyway.] Nagisa-san!! Please come out!!

[This is no time to be worrying about privacy, and he's not around to snoop, so in Hubert goes. A quick glance around the apartment has him thinking that maybe they didn't need to come here.]

Is she not here . . . ?

[A lot of stuff is still here. Could she have gone elsewhere for safety empty-handed?]

[Running over to pick up one of the big dango plushies and hold it in Hubert's direction.]

It doesn't seem like she is. Nagisa-san must have left in a rush to leave her dangos behind! [Looking down at the ground whilst still holding the plush toy.] ...What now?

[What is with those dolls.]

Do you have any idea as to where she might be? If she has the journal with her, we should be able to contact her.

[They're dangos, second only to starfish of course.]

If Fuuko had some sort of idea then Fuuko would have mentioned it by now! Fuuko will try contacting Nagisa-san right away though, so don't worry!! [Opening her journal and shouting at it soon after.] Nagisa-san! Nagisa-san?!

[This is bad. If Nagisa is missing, where could she be? Still in the village? Outside? The tunnels? With the Organization?

He decides to wait for Fuuko before thinking of any more possibilities.]

[A little more shouting... But still nothing. Maybe she doesn't have the journal with her or something? Regardless, there's no reply coming from her.

She turns her head to look over at you Hubert. So now what?]

[Good question. Hubert concludes that there really isn't anything else they can do in such a short time frame, besides get lucky.]

We'll simply have to look around.

Then we need to start looking, there probably isn't much time left!!

[Running out of the apartment and off down the hall. As she passes Hubert, Fuuko will grab his sleeve so to drag him with her.]

[Although she didn't have to do that, Hubert follows without protest. He'd rather save his breath and strength than fight her grip off.]

Do you have any ideas as to where?

[By no means did she have to grab his sleeve, but right now it's just comforting to have someone nearby when the moon is about to crash and kill you. So there will be sleeve grabbing and holding.]

Anywhere and everywhere! Fuuko isn't sure where to start looking first, but if it's for Nagisa-san then Fuuko will look in as many places as Fuuko can!

[They're not going to find her in time if they take this approach, especially if Nagisa is on the move. That is, if she's around in the first place . . . ]

Very well. We've already done a sweep of the previous floors. We'll resume the search once we're outside.

Fuuko understands!!

[And by the time they're outside, Fuuko is already panting hard from all this running she's been doing. But there's no time for rest now!]

Let's look... Down here! [And off she goes, running down a random path.] Hubert-san can keep track of the time and how long we have left. [Before the moon goes splat.]

[He'll keep track, all right, especially when he already doubts that they'll be able to find her. The duration of time that passes in their search worsens his pessimism, after a while which he stops moving and asks her bluntly:]

Are you certain she's around to begin with?

Not sure. But Nagisa-san could be around, and that's a good enough reason for Fuuko to keep looking.

[Though she's actually looking pretty warn out now. She's used to these quick bursts of speed here and there, but running and panicking can really tire you out after awhile.]

[But she could not be around, too.]

It may be that she's already out of the moon's reach. Whatever the case, it'd be best if you at least made your way to the tunnels now.

[They don't have much time now, and gravitational disturbances is indicative of this.]

[Giving the area one last look over before dropping her head.]

Fuuko hopes so. Can you show Fuuko which way to the tunnels?

[Even if she's told which way to go, Fuuko will keep looking for her on her way to the tunnels.]

[Readjusting his spectacles, he turns, looking over his shoulder at Fuuko.]

This way.

[Even if they don't find Nagisa along the way, at least Fuuko would be in safety. Theoretically speaking.]
