Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

[Ion nods, but then frowns.]

Please don't apologize... I was the one who insisted. I should have known my own limits.

[Especially in regards to the whole heights thing, which should have been obvious.]

It wouldn't have been a problem... if I didn't bring it up in the first place.

[ HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER 8( ]

But I asked if there was anything you wanted to ride, didn't I?

[He can't quite reach where Kohan is, but he stretches out a hand towards him, as though silently asking for him to take it.]

Admittedly, I should have figured you might have wanted to ride one of the bigger ones... but I'm glad you said it. I wouldn't want you to feel that you have to lie to me just for my sake.

[ He does take it! But then there's another pause. A guilty pause. ]

... If I'd lied... you wouldn't be in this state right now.

[He gives his hand a soft squeeze.]

And if I had been honest about being afraid, I wouldn't have gotten on it in the first place. I can't let you put all the blame on yourself.

[After all, it wasn't just the ride he was afraid of, even if he didn't quite want to admit it.]

But you already have enough to worry about... without the blame.

Kohan, I'm fine. My stomach is hardly even sore anymore.

[As if to prove his point, he shifts up on the bed and leans against the pillows. He didn't want Kohan to feel guilty about this...]

[ Then watch as Kohan goes from guilty to worried in two seconds flat! ]

Don't push yourself-!

[And look, he sits up just fine! He wasn't lying about feeling a little better now.]

I'm not pushing myself. I was only a little nauseous before... I'm not going to break.

[ Yes but he worries. ]

If... you say so. Just let me know if... [ there's anything else. ]

...would you mind sitting here beside me for a little while?

[He pats the spot on the bed beside him.]

[ You don't have to ask twice. Kohan quickly moves next to Ion and sits down where he indicated. ]

[And Ion's just gonna go ahead and wrap an arm around Kohan's side, intertwining their fingers as he nestles up closer.]

[If he can't convince Kohan that he's all right and he has no reason to blame himself, the least he can do is try and comfort him a little.]

There. That's better.

... Yeah.

[ Does this mean they'll be leaning and sort of cuddling because Kohan would not entirely object to this.

Even though he'd like to ride one of those coasters once more before they have to go back to the enclosure. That can be done later, when Ion's alright with being on his own for a while. ]

[It's only day 3, so he'll have plenty of time for that. For now, cuddling is definitely a thing that's gonna be happening. It feels so comforting to have Kohan so close right now -- his earlier unease at being left alone was the furthest thing from his mind.]

[Right now, they have this room and this bed all to themselves... no reason they can't just waste some time here together, right?]

[ Well, there's some reasons why, but none of them are remotely compelling enough to move Kohan. At least at the moment.

After a minute or so, he starts absently running a hand up and down Ion's arm. ]

[Obviously not! Ion lets out a soft sigh, burying his face into the crook of Kohan's neck. It was almost easy to forget where they were right now. He rests his hand on Kohan's hip, gently drumming his fingers along Kohan's side.]

...say, Kohan?

Yeah?

[ He shifts a little bit to turn to get a better view of Ion. ]

[His expression might be hard to catch given the angle, but if he can see it, he just might recognize that smile on his face.]

You know... we're both alone here right now, aren't we?

[ He sees it, and it makes him hesitate. ]

... Yeah, but... I don't think now... is the best time.

Oh, no one should be coming back to the rooms right now. It's still early, after all... but we can lock the door just in case, right?

[Someone is missing the point.]

No... I mean, you just got sick. Even if you're feeling better, we probably shouldn't...

[ Well, shouldn't you-know-what. ]

But I told you I feel fine.

[He knows Kohan only worries because he's given him good reason to do so in the past. But this was different from riding a roller coaster! He didn't want Kohan to always see him as being so fragile.]

And if you won't believe me, then perhaps I can just show you?

Ion... not today.

[ Sorry but the mental image of watching you hurl into a garbage bin is going to haunt him for a little while longer. ]

...oh, all right.

[The look on Ion's face right now? It's totally a pout. Which is not a face Ion makes often. Really, he's more upset that Kohan doesn't seem to believe him when he says he feels well again.]

[Of course, he can hardly blame him after Ion insisted he was okay to go on that ride, too. Which is why the pout doesn't last more than a few moments.]

[...and he's still not moving from where he is, all cuddled up close to Kohan. Cuddling did not require physical exertion, so there was no reason this wasn't still okay!]
