Birthday wishes

What: Rin's Birthday
When: Dec. 27th
Where: House 15, in the living room
Summary: Shiemi is throwing Rin a birthday party. She's doing most of the setting up, but Rin was kind enough to cook for his own party. We don't want Shiemi killing anyone.
Rating: PG-13 at most I think.

Plants and heat lamps litter the living space of House 15, but they're all decorated in Christmas style. Baubles and shiny tinsel-like garland hand from bushes that range from fruit bearing to thorny. What might be most notable is that Mistletoe can be found almost everywhere. Shiemi saw people kissing under it a couple times, and despite it being a poisonous plant, if people really liked it that much then it should be at the party! The girl collected a lot of it, so people are bound to run into it! Feel free to get your grub on with Rin's homemade dishes, give out some kisses, or brag about the presents you did or did not get the Son of Satan.

[Realizing this, she smiled to him, still unaware that they couldn't move.]

...I guess like seventeen. [ Though that makes him frown. Being seventeen just makes it all feel way longer than it has been. He sighs ]

You guess? [She can't help but ask.] Is that a bad thing?

[ He should be fifteen and he should be on Earth with his friends and classmates and his brother. Who should be having his birthday too. He shouldn't be here. And he frowns all the more before deciding... ]

Not really. It's not that bad...

[She was silent for a moment.]

... Yeah. I don't totally get it, but I've been stuck here. Are you stuck too?

Stuck? [She attempted to move finally, finding it hard to move suddenly.] Oh... how weird...

[Oh god.... What do? Ah!! She's not used to people complementing her. Especially not guys calling her cute.]

[You know... Now that you mention it.... She does kind of want to kiss him for some reason....

No! No! That's just too embarrassing. Besides, she has somebody that she likes and another crush she's trying to get over. But what does the mistletoe care? So while he's leaning down, she found herself randomly kissing Rin.

What?! No! This is supposed to be a birthday party, not... whatever this is...

[ Of course she's cute, just look at her! He can't look away from her! As she goes and gets more flustered, for a long second, he tries to think of how he could contradict her. But ultimately, it doesn't matter if he does or doesn't, because she just goes for it before he can. He's surprised for a moment - before he just kisses back. A hand goes around her shoulder too. It's some sort of habit -- even though he's rarely ever done this before ]

[ Wow, this is just wrong, isn't it? Though, it is his birthday, so this is sort of a birthday gift. So... that's nice... And it also feels nice ]

[ But then after the kiss lasts a certain amount of time, he snaps out of it. And he pulls back from her, his arms wide and he's almost too shocked to be embarrassed at the moment. Um. Um.
