[ And he stands and starts to give Ion a hand up. ]

[Ion nods, taking his hand as he stands and pulls Kohan's coat up off the ground. He shakes it off a bit before handing it back.]

Perhaps we should get some hot chocolate on the way? It might warm us up faster than just going inside for a while.

[He really likes hot chocolate okay.]

[ Wrapping that coat around Ion's shoulders. So there. ]

How much have you had already?

[ He remembers the milkshakes bro ]

[Aww, now he's nice and toasty! But hm, how many has he had today...]

Only about 3 cups? But that's since I arrived here earlier.

[Hot chocolate was a lot less filling than a milkshake was.]

[ He was worried that number was going to have a zero at the end of it okay. ]

... Alright, then maybe another won't hurt.

[Gosh Kohan you act like he has a drinking problem of something.]

[With a smile and a nod, Ion gives Kohan's hand a small squeeze before leading him back to the stalls, where a few of them are still selling hot chocolate.]

...oh, this stall has more varieties than the last one I saw did. Though I can't say I've ever heard of "Aztec" hot chocolate before...

Aztec? Huh... I don't think it's anything from my world.

[ Unless Destiny Islands is actually Earth but signs point to "no" so let's go with that. ]

Do you want to try it?

[He nods. ~~Your fate is sealed, Kohan.~~]

Yes, I think I will. It's always nice to try new things, isn't it?

[And so he orders himself a cup -- it's not quite as sweet smelling as the other varieties were. It's almost a little spicy.]

Which do you think you want to try? I can let you have a sip of mine if you'd like to try it first?

[ Kohan eyes the options. ]

Well... I haven't had the caramel one yet. Might as well give it a shot, I guess.

[Meanwhile Ion is just going to take a sip of his cup now that it's arrived and--]

...oh! That's a lot less sweet than I was expecting. It certainly has a bit of a kick to it...

[ Meanwhile, Kohan will be taking the first tentative sip of his... ]

... Salty? Yet, sweet...

[ The reference had to be made okay ]

Well, it is salted caramel, after all. [Taking another drink of his own -- it's not quite what he was expecting, but still pretty good!]

[It hasn't quite started to kick in yet.]

Mine tastes a little spicy... I wonder if it's made with some kind of pepper?

Maybe that's what an Aztec is.

[ And he starts taking bigger drinks of his own. ]

This stuff kind of grows on you after the first few sips, huh?

[Ion is still mostly sipping on his. The spiciness is a little strong, but it feels nice and warm going down. He nods.]

It takes some getting used to, but you're right. It does taste... [Oh. That's odd, his mind seems to be wandering a bit.] ...really good.

Not as good as I'm sure you do--

[ ohgod what was that Kohan suddenly slaps his free hand over his mouth, face slowly turning visibly red even in the low light. ]

[What.]

[What.]

[Okay hold on, we are stopping mid-sip here to address whatever the heck that was, because despite the expression on Kohan's face -- which is a complete give-away -- Ion's still not so sure he heard Kohan right.]

...come again?

I-I don't know! It just slipped out! I wasn't even thinking about taking you back to one of those cabi-- [ OKAY NO HAND OVER MOUTH AGAIN WE ARE STOPPING THIS RIGHT NOW ]

...you weren't?

[Oops, that hot chocolate is starting to affect Ion a little bit too. He takes a step closer, soothing a hand up Kohan's arm as if to try and pull his hand away.]

Well, what else were you not thinking about doing?

I... I don't know. I mean, it just came out. The words, I mean. I'm not sure what...

[ And, after a moment, his gaze slowly falls to the hot chocolate still held in his free hand.

... Malnosso... ]

[And while Kohan's mind is wandering in that direction, Ion's seems to be set on wandering in a very different one. He's still running his hand up and down Kohan's arm, the slightest hint of color in his cheeks as he looks up at Kohan with a certain smile he might just be able to recognize.]

Wherever they came from, they seem to have some good ideas. Perhaps we should try listening to them?

Ion, wait. I think there's something strange going on here--

[ But then he actually looks back to Ion, and yeah, he recognizes that smile. It catches him and makes him falter long enough for his brain to not get a filter on his runaway mouth. ]

You're not in my bed yet.

[Ion is in somewhat-oblivious mode right now, so he really only focuses on that last part. He giggles a bit, before reaching up to grab a fistful of Kohan's shirt, trying to tug him down closer. His cup of hot chocolate has already been forgotten, casually tossed aside as it was already over half empty.]

That sounds like a problem with a simple enough solution.

Ion...

[ Why must you do that. Kohan really wants to stop and figure out what's going on but when Ion pulls him closer while giving him that look it's really hard to focus on anything else.

You know what, just one kiss. They can investigate this after just one kiss. ]

[Sure. Just one kiss.]

[Just one kiss with tongue and a body pressing up against Kohan's and a lingering taste of spiciness still on Ion's lips as he smooths his hands down Kohan's chest and around his back.]

[...good luck with that, Kohan.]

[ It's going to be just one kiss okay B(

At least that's the plan. Kohan keeps his hands on Ion's shoulders as a reminder to himself that there is something they still need to do before going too far, but even that reminder might be lost before too long, as he's not being shy about kissing Ion back. At least as far as mouth action goes. ]
