What: ~~Broship~~; just Naoki and Ted, c’mon. Hanging out…kinda.
When: Friday.
Where: Community Building 7, Floor 5, Room 21.
Summary: So Nami and Usopp have gone home. Naoki isn’t exactly in the best of moods. Solution: run to Ted, of course.
Rating: Idek. Nothing over PG. Barely over G? ...but here's a warning for SAP. So. Much. Sap.

[Gone. Naoki couldn’t believe it. He didn’t even want to believe it. It was easier to deny that they weren’t gone, not both of them within a few days. It wasn’t fair.

And he knew he was being a brat about it. A selfish one. Because he didn’t want them to go where he couldn’t see them anymore. He wanted them h—no. It was a thought that he couldn’t help but be angry at himself for. It was the thought that had drove him outside into the cold wind and snow, hands buried in his pockets and eyes fixed on the ground.

He wasn’t sure where to go. He’d left a note for Isamu and Richard and would likely contact them over the journals later but for now, he just—

Naoki stops, looks up. Community building 7…huh? He hadn’t even noticed his feet leading him here. But without preamble he was entering and scaling the steps. He had almost expected his body to take him here. There was just something…heh. He wanted to see Ted, he guessed. Somehow he was comforted around him. Soon enough he’d reach the door to his apartment and if his knock received no answer…he would sit on the floor next to it.

Don't say I didn't warn you! Are these good already?

Yup! Hand me a couple of plates?

Coming right up! [Going off to grab some, and the proper eating utensils too.]

[Naoki grins and turns the oven off, shifting slightly and waiting for them to put the food on. He's hungry now, as the groooowl his stomach makes seems to say.]

[Ted looks amused at that growl, and his face pretty much says his thoughts. Someone's eager. He does hand over the plates wordlessly, looking at the tempura with slight suspicion in case it didn't taste as good as it should.]

[Naoki moves the food onto plates and offers one to him with a grin.] Wanna eat back in your place?

By all means! Come on, let's take over the couch. [Taking that plate happily then, before pausing for a moment.] On second thought, you bring these back first, I'll go and wash up. [Rather than leave a mess here and all.]

You sure? I could clean up, if you wanted. [He quirks an eyebrow slightly as he takes both plates.]

I'm sure. Just treat it like a thanks for teaching me how not to burn my tempura.

[He blinks and then grins.] All right. See you in a few, then. [Turning to head on back to Ted's place, then~]

[He won't take too long, either way. Once he's done, he'll follow Naoki in, making a beeline to the younger man once he spots him.]

[Naoki's already comfortable on the couch, lifting the plate for Ted without speaking...because he already has his mouth full. He's a glutton, sorry.]

[He chuckles when he sees that, raising an eyebrow.] Couldn't wait, could you?

Mff mf-- [Chew chew chew.] Ah--you were just taking too long.

Was not. [He takes the plate though, digging in one he takes a seat.]

Were too. [But he is hungry so nomnomnom.]

[He bumps his shoulder against him in protest but continues eating, pausing only when he finally finishes.]

[Naoki muffles a laugh around his food, continuing to chomp his way through it.]

It came out better than I thought. [He finally says, once he's placed down the plate. Not that it was too surprising, as he did start out all of this thinking that it'll end in a disaster.]

[Naoki grins at him.] See? Not too hard at all, eh?

Only because I got a good instructor with me.

Haha--you flatter me.

You think so? We made a decent meal today, didn't we?

We did. Even better than just decent, I think.

Definitely better than decent. [He leans back on the couch, still sleepy, mostly due to having sleep cut in the middle because of the nightmare, but he tries not to make it too obvious.] You definitely should come over more often. I miss having you nearby.
