Where: A veritable pleasure island, east of the Beach Fort.
Summary: An amusement park has popped up in Luceti. It's all over here.
Rating: F is for friends who do stuff together!

Just some notes here not in the mod post -
1) The weather will be bright and partly cloudy for the rest of the month on the beach side of things. A nice cool sea breeze will keep people from melting out there.
2) All the old Luceti Land rides are still available. However, feel free to make up your own attractions and rides as well.
3) Since this is around for two weeks, we may put up another mass log if this one gets too full. So keep an eye on that!
4) Don't forget to tag your character's name on to the log! If you don't have one yet, just let us know and we'll get you hooked up.

As way of explanation for all this, Bil will have written a message on the first page of the journals. It cannot be replied to, it simply states:

"My condolences for all the trouble. You were due for an experiment today, but I thought you might enjoy an amusement park instead. It seemed like the sort of thing the Great One would do."

[Vash can't help but to check Luceti Land out, he's never been to an amusement park before.

At first he's very wary, even runs at first at the sight of the droids, but will man up once he sees they're not after anyone.

He'll start to loosen up after the first couple days, but he's still not going any rides just yet. (Not to say he can't get dragged on any.) But he sure is WATCHING them. He's... really not sure what to think of them. Especially the water rides. LOOK at those massive things of terror!

By mid week he'll finally figure out what he DOES like about this place. The food. Don't mind Vash walking around with cotton candy, funnel cake, and a corn dog or two always in his mouth.]

Ah, when it's an amusement park, you have to try the rides!

[This is not exactly what one might expect Mizuno Ami to say. She's been around Usagi too much lately. Or still not enough.

Besides, it's an amusement park, always her favorite place. But, realizing Vash may be nervous, she makes a friendly offer:]

[Clark corners Vash near the log ride, grinning at him as they stand just out of range of the big waves that come crashing out of it periodically. He recognizes Vash, of course... though he also doubts the reverse is going to be true.]

[You'd be surprised by how well Vash can pick out a face in a crowd. A 134 years old and he's never forgotten a face. Can even recognize a person who's aged ten years, but right now he cares more about what's being talked about then with who.] Ahahahaha, looks wet to me. I don't think I'm dressed right for that one.

Second Day

[Now that Miyabi's made herself somewhat familiar with Luceti Land - and found out it's not some kind of massive, metal torture chamber - she's been running around riding all the rides and just loving it. She got her face painted like Amaterasu, with the red circle on her forehead and the red lines framing her eyes. When she spots Vash, she bounds toward him, all smiles.]

Vash! Isn't this place wonderful?! I've never been to a festival like this before! Have you tried the big, metal serpent?! [She meanss the roller coaster.] Or the spinning teacups?!

Of course they are! I've ridden the metal serpent thing so many times and nothing happened to me! [SO YOU HAVE TO GO ON, TOO. Miyabi grabs Vash's hand and attempts to tug his toward it.] It's so much fun! And then there's long tubes with water inside! I want to go one those, too!

[Oh Vash, Jet recognizes that cautiousness- or rather, okay it's pretty hard not to recognize the signs of it when he sees a full grown man booking it in the face of droids that aren't even giving chase. He's eyeing one of the enemies death traps on wheels, unable to wrap his head around what possessed the rest of the park attendees to trust such an obviously dangerous contraption.]

"Not very open minded about their safety, are they?"

Second Day

[Vash can probably spot Yui having, or at least trying to have a conversation with one of the droids at a game stand. She looks deep in thought while that droid is looming over her suspiciously.]

[Giles has seen Vash more or less all over the place over the last couple of days. He can't blame the other for his hesitation - without being dragged here, its entirely possible that Giles would never have come out this far.

What with one thing and another, though, he doesn't actually get the chance to speak with Vash until Vash is taking another trip out of the food court. He surveys the man's latest haul with mingled approval and shock.]

[DONUT CHAMPION-- looks like Sora had the same idea-- though his own wary guard has been lowering over the course of the past few days, one has to keep his energy up when keeping a watchful eye on the drones. that's why, when Sora happens by and lifts a hand to wave at Vash, he's carrying a cone of cotton candy nearly twice the size of his head.]

Yeah! This is just a snack though to hold me over til lunch. [You know, how everyone eats two hotdogs, a couple orders of nachos with extra cheese, giant pretzels, a large bag of cotton candy, a medium sized bag of peanuts, a plate of funnel cake with brown sugar, and a plate of funnel cake with apple toppings for a snack.
