Where: A veritable pleasure island, east of the Beach Fort.
Summary: An amusement park has popped up in Luceti. It's all over here.
Rating: F is for friends who do stuff together!

Just some notes here not in the mod post -
1) The weather will be bright and partly cloudy for the rest of the month on the beach side of things. A nice cool sea breeze will keep people from melting out there.
2) All the old Luceti Land rides are still available. However, feel free to make up your own attractions and rides as well.
3) Since this is around for two weeks, we may put up another mass log if this one gets too full. So keep an eye on that!
4) Don't forget to tag your character's name on to the log! If you don't have one yet, just let us know and we'll get you hooked up.

As way of explanation for all this, Bil will have written a message on the first page of the journals. It cannot be replied to, it simply states:

"My condolences for all the trouble. You were due for an experiment today, but I thought you might enjoy an amusement park instead. It seemed like the sort of thing the Great One would do."

Please don't sound so lewd. [Her voice is a bit strained without any real hope of him complying, but there's definitely a blush in her cheeks. She leads the way anyway.]

Oh, look! Salvation! The carousel!]

There it is! Come on, the line isn't too long!

[She hurries ahead.]

[That part about the riding was the lewd bit, Ami. Jack hurries to catch up with her after tossing his candy apple stick aside carelessly. Seeing Ami happy is a rather lovely thing, actually. It cheers him considerably.]

[She has a sudden mental image of what's about to happen: Jack crammed on a carousel horse far too small for him. She can't stop a giggle, quickly covered by her hand.]

We'll look for one. [Maybe the carousel here has other animals.]

[There are rather odd animals on the carousel: horses, of course. Elephants. Bears. Zebras. Dragons. Ostriches. Camels, of both the one-humped and double-humped varieties.

But Jack sees the one he wants: a tall, black horse with a skull and crossbones painted on its rump. A PIRATE HORSE.]

HA! Ami! That's him! There!

They're to make it more interesting. [She grins at this.] You can try to grab it.

[Clearly the brass ring has made the carousel ride Much More Better. The next go-round, the pirate leans FAR off his horse's back, trying to reach it. He doesn't.]

[Ami tries not to laugh, but the result is something suspiciously like an escaping snicker.]

Try not to lean too far. Reach with your arm and your hand. It might work better, I think.

Right! Work better! [The next pass sees equal failure. Jack seems to be getting frustrated by the game.] Bugger! I should've had it that time!

[Whelp, on the next round Jack actually takes out his pistol and takes aim and SHOOTS THE RING DOWN. It goes bouncing and clattering to the pavement below, shining just beyond the ride. He blows the smoke from the end of the gun and nods in self-approval. Brass rings put him in the mind to shoot something, apparently.]
