Summary: An amusement park has popped up in Luceti. It's all over here.
Rating: F is for friends who do stuff together!

Just some notes here not in the mod post -
1) The weather will be bright and partly cloudy for the rest of the month on the beach side of things. A nice cool sea breeze will keep people from melting out there.
2) All the old Luceti Land rides are still available. However, feel free to make up your own attractions and rides as well.
3) Since this is around for two weeks, we may put up another mass log if this one gets too full. So keep an eye on that!
4) Don't forget to tag your character's name on to the log! If you don't have one yet, just let us know and we'll get you hooked up.

As way of explanation for all this, Bil will have written a message on the first page of the journals. It cannot be replied to, it simply states:

"My condolences for all the trouble. You were due for an experiment today, but I thought you might enjoy an amusement park instead. It seemed like the sort of thing the Great One would do."

[Ginia draws her brows in thought as she observes the conversation, keeping everything in mind.]

You might not have met them yet, Grune. I mean...[He indicates Grune's persona] She might not have. Sh-She might be like the two you saw earlier, the children. From your past.

Hmm.... Do you think so? [She studies the room a little more, then gives up.] Oh well.

[She addresses her persona again.] Grune, you're going to make lots of wonderful friends very soon. They're all going to make you very happy.

Oh, my, that sounds very nice. I can't wait!

[shadedsunlight]

/And in turn, you'll make them very happy too./ [She's seen the notes left by Alice about Norma and knows first-hand how bright and cheerful Grune can make things.]

((ooc; How much longer do we want to keep them in the Hall of Personas? Because if we're going to go longer, I'd like to bring Alice around for laughs and levity. Otherwise we can move on. Don't want to hog things. ><))

((ooc: Grune has one more lined up, and I can bring out another for Giles. Ginia will probably have to tell Grune that its time to leave, though.))

But what's the point in showing us our past? We know that bit. Well...most of it.

[OOC: I thought of another one I could do with Grune if you guys want a fourth persona to turn up, so yeah. And yes, neither Grune is particularly good at knowing when to leave. XD;;]


[The persona of Grune smiles at Ginia.] Oh, I'm very glad to hear that. Friends are supposed to make each other happy.

Yes, that's right. [She's glad to hear it, too. She hopes she makes Ginia and Giles and all her friends on the Legacy very happy.]

((ooc; I could do a fourth, but I'm not sure how badly I want to mindfuck Ginia with that one or show off her past. And Ginia will get her out of there. Eventually. Ginia's kinda enjoying this too >>;;;))

[Ginia smiles back with a little more warmth and sincerity. Really, it's hard enough being down around Grune, but two of them?

Though her smile fades slightly when her reflection appears back in the mirror wearing tight jeans, a fitted t-shirt, and a leather jacket. She grins and waves.]

/Hey, Beautiful. Hey, Handsome. Hello, Cupcake./

[There's a pause as Alice notices the other Grune in the mirror.]

/And hello to you too./

Hello, Alice. [The former Watcher smiles wryly.] I suppose we should have expected you.

[He looks out the edge of the mirror.] I wonder if I'll be back any time soon...

Alice! [Grune gives her a delighted smile.] I'm glad you're here.

Is this another of our friends? [Then the persona of Grune blinks and looks to the side, past the edge of the mirror.] Hmm....

[shadedsunlight]

[There's a tiny sigh, but an accepting smile as Alice appears. Of course she'd be here. However, compared to the last two, this one comes as an odd relief, strange as it is to talk to herself.]

/Hello, Alice. Thank you for taking care of me and for behaving this last week./

[Alice grins and gives a dismissive wave, siting down on the edge of Grune's coffin.]

/No problem! And hey there, Grune, good to see you! You doing all right? And Giles, don't look so unhappy, you know you love me. By the way, the bad boy lurking out there, is that you? Because if he weren't so young, I'd have some fun with him./

You're even less his type than you are mine. And there's less of an age gap between you and him than there is between us right now.

[A voice - Giles' voice, Giles' ordinary voice - can be heard from just outside the frame.] Grune? Um, I think Dhaos is looking for you. S-Something about the laundry blowing away.

[The real Grune takes a few steps towards the sound of the persona Giles' voice before she realizes who he must be talking to.

She turns back to herself in the mirror.] Dhaos is another very good friend you're going to make soon. Will you go help him?

Oh, my, I'm going to have so many friends. I can't wait! Of course I'll help him.

[Grune beams.] Thank you! That's the spirit. Charge!

[The other Grune looks at her blankly, then turns to Ginia, Giles, and Alice.] I'm very happy I could meet all of you. I can't wait to be your friend. Goodbye!

[She waves, then leaves the mirror.]

[Alice grins, practically purring as she leans forward to peer at Giles, twisting his words around for her amusement and Ginia's embarrassment. Ginia will be accepting a hole in the ground now, thanks.]

/So I am your type~ And please, a woman has to have standards. Older men have more maturity and experience. Younger boys aren't my type./

[At the sound of Giles' voice from off-mirror, Alice turns to wave off at him.]

/Hi, Rupert darling! Going to show your handsome face here?/ [Then as Persona Grune leaves,] /And oh, you're leaving? Bye, Beautiful, don't be a stranger now~/

Um. I am, um, I am still technically married, Alice. I know that reminding you of that n-never really works, but...

[The Giles that hurries into the mirror is...similar to the real one. The differences still exist, but they're subtle. This persona is dressed far more neatly, in the sort of clothes Giles used to favor as a librarian. His glasses are thicker. He's clearly gone through a great deal of worry in a short time, rather than a generalized sort of worry over a long time.

He's also trying to juggle a guitar in its case, a sheaf of sheet music, and a wooden sword that he clearly doesn't know how to use. One look at Alice's smile promptly causes him to drop the lot.] Oh, for god's sake, and I've lost Grune...

Oh, no, I'm right here.

[Grune smiles and waves at him. Now there are two of Giles--how nice!

The ruins that had been left behind when the persona of Grune departed are slowly fading, their bright colours darkening into subtler tones. It's becoming night, and the indoors is turning into the outdoors.]

[Ginia's kinda sorta very much dying of embarrassment at Alice's words, face bright red. When Giles' persona comes out, she peeks over at him and stops a bit to stare.

....Hello there.

The reaction does not go unnoticed by Alice, who smirks over at Ginia, Giles' persona, then the real man before she really lays it on.]

/Don't worry about Grune, she'll find her way eventually. Can't keep the boyfriend-not-boyfriend-kinda-boyfriend waiting. And yes, but there's something so irresistible about a married man, especially when you're dressed like that. I would love to run my finger down your spine and open you like a book. Even Ginia over there agrees./

[The guitar case, which Giles' persona had just gotten back over his shoulder, is promptly dropped. He scowls sternly at Alice - a teacher's glare, meant to curb unruly students.] Alice, can you please hold back your inappropriate remarks long enough for me to gather my things?

[With a huff, he sorts out the sheet music.] Ginia, as always, the influences in your life can best be described as horrible.

[Grune looks from Alice to Giles' persona in complete confusion. What are they talking about? Alice doesn't seem to be making Giles very happy...but why?

One thing does stand out to her, however.] Giles, did you get married?

[The scenery behind Alice has now resolved into a well-kept lawn at night. There are flower beds and trimmed shrubs arranged in a careful layout. In the distance is a green glow; silhouetted against it is a tall figure, slowly walking backwards.]

[Alice is brimming with smug delight, but cuts off on her comments just long enough for him to get everything gathered up, even bending down to help shuffle the sheet music back together.

Ginia, for her part, snaps out of her daze at the persona's words and Grune's question, still blushing.] /What is that supposed to mean?! But yes, you're married? To who? When?/

[As the environment begins to shift, Ginia takes note. Another persona of Grune? It can only be.]

[Giles replies, attempting to spare his persona what he only dimly remembers to have been a deeply embarrassing explanation.] Was married. In, um...in a different time. Even then, it, um...

...didn't work out. [The persona smiles apologetically as he finishes gathering up his things.] S-So. The dreams were real.

Yes, they were. I'm sorry.

Don't be. I'm not the one who has to live with [He indicates Giles] this, after all.

[He apparently takes pity on his other self, turning to look back at the approaching figure.] Oh. Here she is. That's a relief.

[Grune frowns a little, looking between the persona and the real Giles.] Live with what?

[As the persona of Grune draws nearer, it becomes clear that she isn't walking backwards--something is forcing her. The green light that forms a shell around her is being pushed by dark purple light, just a little stronger than her.

Grune's persona herself is dressed quite differently from what Ginia and Giles are used to. Her dress is elaborate, and her hair must have once been pinned up in a very nice arrangement, but it's coming to pieces now.

Her posture is perfectly straight but tense. If Ginia and Giles look closely, they may be able to see by the light of her magic that she's sweating.]

[There's a small frown from Ginia as well and even Alice, the teasing tone fading and taking on a colder edge even as her signs and added voice maintain flirty friendliness.]

/Don't be like that, Rupert. Things may not have gone perfectly, but it doesn't mean they went badly. Besides, I still like him more than I like you./

[As Grune's battle draws closer and visible to them, Alice turns and raises a fist in the persona's direction.]

/You beat that evil bitch down, Grune!/

[Giles slowly nods. Despite himself, he agrees with his persona - that a part of him still wishes he was that teacher, with the loving family and the normal life.

Until then, however, both Giles' attention is drawn by the clearly distressed Grune. The persona hastily drops everything again before taking up the training sword in shaking hands.] O-Oh my. I was, um, h-hoping we could avoid this. Grune, just, just hang on.

Stay back. [Giles may recognise this voice--it spoke a single word to him in the tunnels, when Grune refused to leave him. The persona says no more, unable to spare the attention.

The real Grune takes Giles' hand now, but it's an absent sort of comfort as she stares at the mirror. Why does this seem so familiar? It feels as though she's done this so many times....]

[Just as Grune had done earlier, Ginia reaches over and gently takes Grune's hand in her own, giving it a comforting squeeze.

Alice stays back, knowing all about how some battles you need to finish yourself, but there's a set of throwing knives clutched tightly between her fingers and she's willing to dive in on a moment's notice.]
