Where: A veritable pleasure island, east of the Beach Fort.
Summary: An amusement park has popped up in Luceti. It's all over here.
Rating: F is for friends who do stuff together!

Just some notes here not in the mod post -
1) The weather will be bright and partly cloudy for the rest of the month on the beach side of things. A nice cool sea breeze will keep people from melting out there.
2) All the old Luceti Land rides are still available. However, feel free to make up your own attractions and rides as well.
3) Since this is around for two weeks, we may put up another mass log if this one gets too full. So keep an eye on that!
4) Don't forget to tag your character's name on to the log! If you don't have one yet, just let us know and we'll get you hooked up.

As way of explanation for all this, Bil will have written a message on the first page of the journals. It cannot be replied to, it simply states:

"My condolences for all the trouble. You were due for an experiment today, but I thought you might enjoy an amusement park instead. It seemed like the sort of thing the Great One would do."

[Touched, she looks up at him, her smile both widening and becoming a little softer.]

I'm still going to try my best.

[...Don't make him sigh again, Grune. At that look, Dhaos relents.]

...Then go ahead.

All right.

[For a very long moment, Grune simply…looks at the target. Dhaos would be forgiven for thinking she's spaced out on him. Then, seemingly without much recognition of her actions, she gives her ring a toss.

Bullseye.]

[Blink. That's new.]

...Good job.

[It was probably a fluke :|]

[Grune doesn't respond. Once again, she stares at the target for quite some time, then mechanically tosses her ring.

Bullseye again.]

[Stare. Long stare. Two in a row is luckier than even Grune could be, and that was no small feat.

Dhaos doesn't really want to tell her 'good job' again. So he'll just... frown and stare some more. Grune suddenly got really got at this game.]

[One more time, and Grune gets a bullseye for the third and final time.

When she registers there are no longer any rings in her hand, she blinks and comes back to herself.]

Oh, is the game finished?

[...Wow.

Dhaos is almost relieved when Grune is suddenly back to asking absentminded questions. It was starting to get a little unnerving, frankly...]

..Yes. I believe you won. [Rather decisively.]

Oh, good. [She smiles up at him.] Now you can get a prize, too.

...Toys are hardly within my interests. [Just stop trying, Dhaos. You're getting a plushie.]

[Pretty much.]

Oh, but they're so cuddly and very nice to hold.

[whatdeheckisdat]

[He should know better by now.]

...Pick one out for me, then. [At least make it easier.]

All right.

[Grune considers the rows of plushies carefully. She could pick out one of the largest ones, but when her eyes light upon one in particular, her decision is made.]

What about this one? [And she points straight at a plushie of...herself. Did you expect any differently, Dhaos?]

The number of times Dhaos has thought 'I should have known' has shot up significantly since meeting Grune. Add one to that count. If Grune had picked a Dhaos plushie, she would probably think he needed one of her as well.]

...If you insist.

[At least he's not protesting, huh?]

[The droid selects the plushie and holds it out. Grune accepts it and in turn holds it up to Dhaos.]

Here you go!

[Dhaos reaches out and takes it, turning it around to look at it for a moment. ...He's holding a Grune doll. Goodness, the things he did to be polite.]

You're welcome! [Now they have dolls of each other--how lovely!]

[How embarrassing. Dhaos gives it one last look before letting his arm drop to his side. No cuddling here.]

I should have known there would be prizes shaped like the villagers... We should move on, Grune. [Before she gets any more ideas...]

All right. I wonder what we should do next.

You can wonder while walking. [Yeah, and how did that turn out for you last time?]

Is there anywhere you would like to go?

Hm... [Nope.] This is my first time here, so I am unfamiliar with the attractions.

Oh, then we should find somewhere very fun to go, since it's your first time.

...Indeed. [Grune's idea of fun might not be the same as Dhaos' idea of fun, however.]
