Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? Now everyone wants to play out their ships and get into fruit shenanigans and undo to evil that is AKAI.

OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

[Ion somehow stays surprisingly calm and just looks down at the seaweed. He may have never been in the ocean, but he knows there's plants and stuff in it!]

It's just a piece of seaweed. It's a plant that grows in the ocean. It must have gotten tangled in your hair by the waves...

[And then a few small crabs crawl out of it and start skittering away back into the water.]

[GOD what is WITH all these people coming up behind him?! Luke tenses his shoulders in response, and - oh, it's that guy.

B| ... Except not because Tear's with Frey now so he'll just have to direct his glaring somewhere else. Still, he's not quite fond of him. And his abs are totally better.]

[He takes the fruit with a smile and goes right ahead and takes a bite. It tastes a bit different than it has the last few times he's eaten them! The taste is so much more rich... perhaps the others just hadn't been ripe yet?]

[Luke eats his own fruit while he stares off at the ocean. He used to not like the ocean very much... but today, it's not so bad. Somehow, nothing is all that bad right now, even thinking of... certain pair-ups. Nephry and Ugh.

He glances at Ion, because surely he can't be handling that well.

Man, he kind of looks adorable like that. He looks like he's enjoying the fruit - and Luke can't blame him, the fruit tasted really good. It's just... nice to see him so pleased with it.]

[You know, it's sad. Noel's dense enough to not notice the weird feeling she's getting... or she does, but chooses to ignore it at first. Something that feels... off.

But that couldn't be. Because this is Nami, and Nami and her are... very close right now. Not close as in close friends, but physical proximity wise? Yeah.

But when she feels her fingers brush and play with her hair, Noel stops eating and stays perfectly still for those few agonizing moments. As she feels goosebumps, it's then that Noel knows that something is off, but... but at the same time, is it really that bad?

--Wait. No. Of course it is! Nami and her are friends! And she's dating Sanji! So... So she's--

[It only takes another bite or two for Ion to stop and look up at Luke... o-oh, he's looking back at him. And with such a nice smile, too. It's enough to make Ion feel his face flush a bit, but he doesn't look away.]
