Where: Out on the beach, centered around the teleporter/tunnel exit area. But it feels like July out there! Ain't that just the shit?

Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? Now everyone wants to play out their ships and get into fruit shenanigans and undo to evil that is AKAI.

((No, but seriously guys, look at the mod post, you know what to do. Everything you need is there. Mass log post, remember to tag your characters name here, and do your thing.))

OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

Guess so. I've been out to the beach a few times... and I just don't remember this. Ah well.

[He's looking up too, and man, those look juicy and delicious. He can't help but be curious himself, and she does too...]

...Hey, you want one of those?

[Saber glances at Adell for a moment before looking back up at the fruit.]

... Ah, yes. It would be a shame to come all this way and not take advantage of the delights this tree has to offer.

No problem!

[And Adell jumps up and snags a fruit out of the tree. It looks pretty tasty, but he gives it over to her with a smile.]

Here you go. ...Don't think I've seen anything like one like this before.

[germanicus]

[She'll take said fruit, looking at it closely.]

I thank you. [ ... ] Perhaps this fruit is ... indigenous to this world? I have certainly not seen one such as this in my own realm.

[Hmm ... Why not? She decides to try breaking off a small piece of it to taste.]

I guess it might be. Maybe outside normally... haven't seen it in mind either...

...so how does it taste?

It's rather sweet, but not inedible.

[With that, she breaks off another piece and offers it to Adell.]

[He gratefully takes the piece and pops it into his mouth. Saber was right, this fruit was really quite sweet. But Adell actually enjoyed the taste, and he let the flavor seep into his tongue. He eventually swallowed the fruit.]

[After he finishes his piece, an odd feeling comes over him. A good feeling, but one he doesn't immediately equate to the fruit. He glances over to Saber again... why did he suddenly have such a warm, funny feeling looking at her?]

Can't say I've had anything quite like that fruit either.

[Oh, he likes it! For some reason, that makes her happy, so she breaks off another small piece and steps forward, reaching up in ... what is supposed to be an attempt to feed the piece to Adell. Hopefully the fact that he is 5'11" and she is 4'9" doesn't make this attempt unfortunate/haphazard, even if she probably wouldn't care with the way she feels right now.]

[Despite the height difference between them, Adell gets what she's trying to do and instinctively opens his mouth, allowing Saber to slide the piece into his mouth.

...Admittedly, he doesn't mind it... and a slight blush might find its way into his cheeks for it. Though he's not about to let himself have all the fun. He'll reach down and break a small piece of fruit off and offer the same up to her while a disarming and genuine smile makes its way onto his face.

You know, Saber is oddly cute...]

[She allows Adell to feed her a piece as well, smiling all the while and perhaps blushing just a bit. Something in the back of her mind was telling her that she was acting irrational and silly, but she doesn't care about that right now. Right now, she just wants to have fun with Adell. Maybe get stuff for him at some point ...? People like having things, right? Sure they do! Hmmm, maybe when she returns from this beach trip, she'll find gifts for him somewhere ...

After she finishes her piece, she decides to grab Adell's arm.]

What is there to do in a place like this? You know, do you not? Show me!

[Rather than demanding, she sounds more ... childish, and curious.]

[He's a little taken aback when she so suddenly grabs his arm. But after an instant, Adell lightens up and gives her a bright smile, intertwining his arm with hers.]

Why don't we start by walking down the beach together? Just the two of us?

[He does blush a bit at this, but it feels so right, so he doesn't feel at all bad.]

Ah ... [Just them, hmm? Yeah, she likes the sound of that. Having Adell's attention be only on her sounds very nice indeed. So, she smiles and nods.] Yes. A walk it shall be, then.

[He starts walking, keeping her arm locked in his. It's a gentle pace across the sand, away from the crowd of people. As they grow further away, the waves crashing along the shore grows louder, drowning out the chatter further up the beach.]

...Beautiful out here, isn't it?

[Taking in her surroundings, and keeping as good a grip on Adell's arm as he has on her's, she nods once.]

It truly is ... I never thought any part of this cage we're in would ever have any sort of beauty to it.

[Adell hums lightly at her assessment.]

You'd be surprised where you can find it. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and really look to see it.

[Because sometimes beauty isn't immediately obvious. And sometimes it's hidden well... or right in plain sight.]

I thought it would be impossible to find any sort of beauty here. Perhaps I wasn't looking hard enough ... Or in the right places.
