Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? Now everyone wants to play out their ships and get into fruit shenanigans and undo to evil that is AKAI.

OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

You would.....? [The look on his face is pleased and somewhat excited.

He quickly gets to work on snapping the fruit in half, offering one side to her.]

[Tear accepts the fruit, albeit with a curious look on her face while she tries to keep the juices from spilling onto her fingers too much. But Frey had really wanted to share it and she saw no harm in it...

Thus she takes a small bite from one of the tips, carefully watching the other meanwhile.]

[He takes a bite of his, as well, surprised at how.... good it was. Sure, many people were eating them, but....

Sweet and refreshing, it tasted just right, and his eyes slide closed as he savors the taste.]

[It tastes very much the same to Tear, who proceeds to take another bite of the fruit when she notices how much Frey was enjoying his share. It brings a feeling of elation with it, and makes her step closer to him for the sole reason of wanting to be near him.]

Enjoying it? [There might even be a hint of teasing, but her tone is for the most part filled with affection.]

I am. [He takes another bite, also feeling even more playful then before. Perhaps it was simply being here with her.... she made him feel so happy, it was no wonder, really. With a grin, he returns her query with one of his own.] Are you?

[noticing the fruit juice dribbling down his fingers, he quickly catches some on his tongue.]

[The answer to his question had barely touched her lips when she notices the juices and... his licking them up. There had been something about the image that had made her breath hitch in her throat and caused her blue eyes to widen, a certain warmth that was not unfamiliar when around Frey beginning to rise in her cheeks.

What was she doing just staring at him, it was rude...]

[Frey looks up from his piece of fruit at the small sound, his eyes drawn to the blush on her face and.... the look in her eyes. Really, he shouldn't be staring, but he didn't want to look away. Something in her eyes, that cute flush..... it was pulling him him.

Before he knows it, he's leaning closer.]

[As Frey comes closer Tear finds herself becoming frozen in place, unable to focus on anything but the face that was approaching hers. Even if she wanted to pull away, she can't bring herself to.

Therefore all she could do was close her eyes and trust him, trying to gain some control of the blush on her cheeks and the butterflies in her stomach.]

[His eyes slide closed as well as his lips meet hers, gently, carefully. It is chaste, as far as kisses go, but even drawn to her as he was right now her comfort was his utmost concern.

Raising a hand to brush against her cheek, he pulls away after a few moments, his face flushed with the odd excitement he was feeling. She looked so lovely like this......]

[While this kiss was unfortunately not Tear's first, it was appreciated nonetheless. Even though it had been soft and brief, it had somehow taken away the feelings of nervousness that she had before. To know that her comfort meant so much to her.

Her eyes, which had opened to glance at Frey after he had pulled away, close yet again when she finds herself leaning into his hand, reaching up to hold her own over it gently. Now words could explain how comfortable and at peace she found herself right now.]

[At the touch of her hand, and the approval it shows, he finds himself smiling. So that was ok, then?

So he leans in once more, pressing his lips against hers for a little longer then before, still careful to watch for a reaction or any rejection of the touch.]

[Tear's response is not a rejection by any means, though he should be able to sense the amount of shyness as she returns the kiss in turn. Romance, for all the so-called experience she may have had with it, was still something she found herself unfamiliar with and curiously pursuing.

But with Freyjadour, there was no need for that worry. Surely he could understand why she was a little slow about returning the affection.]

[Of course. In response to her shyness the kiss doesn't go any further then it has, and Freyjadour backs away soon enough, still smiling. He was happy just being here with her... if she wanted to stop, or take their time, it was fine with him. He wasn't going to push her boundaries.]

[Even though he backs away Tear finds herself wanting to be close to him, as though any further than immediate arm's length felt wrong and uncomfortable. While kissing was still just vaguely intimidating in its own right, leaning against him and resting her head on his shoulder was a comfortable alternate. This way they could still be close, but continue on easily when they both felt ready for it.]

[That was.... nice. He wanted this closeness, too, so he reciprocates by wrapping his arms around her and leaning his head against hers.

He could get used to this.]

[As could Tear, and that is why she doesn't move from her place in his arms. Though she had watched him fight before, it had never crossed her mind just what it would feel like to rest in his arms, how it would give her a sense of security she didn't realize she needed. Warm, as though she could let down that soldier façade she so often fell upon and just be herself.

For the time being she closes her eyes and lets out a sigh, enjoying the moment as it was.]

[He simply continues to hold her, enjoying the peacefulness of the moment. It wasn't something he desired to break with word or action, and so he doesn't. It was a strange feeling, but not one unwelcome.]

[After spending a while in each other's arms, Tear finds that she has managed to once again gather enough courage to reach up and kiss him in the corner of his lips again, just as shy and gentle as before but lingering just a bit longer. There was undoubtedly something about expressing her love for him through actions that called to her strongly.]

[The flush on his cheek returns at such a sweet gesture, his gaze softening. She really was so.....

It was.... cute, and he can't help but return the kiss in much the same manner, unable to look away from her eyes.]

[Was it wrong of her to laugh just softly when he returned the kiss, so clearly enjoying these small gestures? Not so long ago she would have been adverse to them, given how unused she was to such displays of emotion. They had always gotten in the way.]

She got the moe, Van got the manly?

[The laughter surprises him, but it was a good surprise. He liked it when she smiled, and her laughter just made it better.]

What for? [There's genuine curiosity in her voice, though if he is thanking her for the same reasons she is to him... She could understand his reasons, even if it made her begin to blush slightly.]

... I'm just glad we have each other. [She almost added 'for now,' but that line of thinking had no place here. There was no point in dwelling on the possibility of being separated when the time could be better spent, and she didn't want her memories of them being together to be marred by sadness. All she wanted was to enjoy this moment, together with him.]

I am, too. [It was a concern Freyjadour shared as well, but he also tried not to focus on 'what ifs'. It tarnished the happy moments of the present, to think of the future right now. Luceti was ephemeral. A difficult place for feelings like these.]
