Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? Now everyone wants to play out their ships and get into fruit shenanigans and undo to evil that is AKAI.

OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

[.......................you know what, he's pretty sure Kratos is smiling right now. He tries to pull up a memory of the last time he even saw that, and fails hopelessly. There's a pause as he wonders what to say next, trying to brush the cobwebs off their dilapidated bond. Because now seems as good a time as any to reconnect, right?]

[Wow, thanks for asking a question when he's busy chewing. He nods, along with a vaguely affirmative noise. Then he swallows the bite.]

It tastes good. A little sweet, but not very. [he sees that fruit in your hand, Kratos. You know you want to.]

[...a brief pause before he brings the fruit to his both and bites into it.]

[He'll take this opportunity to take another bite of his own fruit. As he chews, the feeling grows stronger inside of him and pieces of himself that he thought had been destroyed suddenly come together again. He used to respect him a lot, used to look up to him and appreciate his company...why not go back to the way it was?

...But first, there will be some slightly awkward silence, because he definitely used to be the more talkative of the two and...he's still trying to figure that part out. He wonders why he's almost desperate to find something to talk about, wanting so badly to reconnect.]

[Kratos is feeling that need to reconnect as well, but he too is suffering from the inability to find anything to speak about. His expression is once again softening around the boy, though.]

I guess it doesn't matter, after so long... [He doubts his skill will rust very much. But maybe this wasn't the best choice of conversation topic. He shifts his attention to the sand around him, scooping it in his hands and letting it sift through his fingers.]

How has your life been, Mithos? [Definitely awkward, but hopefully the result will be worth it.]

[He takes a moment to think, still playing with the sand.] Better than it has been in a long time, I think.

[He nods, and there's even a whisper of a smile on his lips.]

Martel has returned... [and he'll quickly gloss over the ugly mess of imperfections lurking underneath the superficial wholeness of having his sister by his side] I have others who care about me too. [....................is he...blushing a little bit?]

Ah... [w-well he doesn't know if he wants to drop the 'boyfriend' word around Kratos...it's a little embarrassing. But--] There are people here who...really surprised me. I didn't expect anyone to understand anything about me, or listen to me, or care what happens to me. [Jeb, Sayo......Kaori...]
