Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? Now everyone wants to play out their ships and get into fruit shenanigans and undo to evil that is AKAI.

OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

[MOSTLY. But her response is a little disappointing. It meant she was just like Precis, so he decides to just let it drop. There was no point in arguing about it if she wouldn't believe him.]

N-nothing, nothing. [He laughs nervously. Totally nothing upsetting about your friends thinking you're some kinda weird liar. 8| They're pretty close to one of the trees now, so he can use that to change the subject.] Here, let me see if I can reach one of these...

[Fortunately for Claude, Nagisa is easily distracted. So once they reach the tree, she's really just focused on that and the fruit.. And so she'll (kind of) root for him as he's reaching for the fruit.]

You can do it, Claude...!

[You know, Nagisa, the last time Claude cheered for someone, they got a pair of dragons stuck to the poor guy's back. This can't be good karma...!

But fortunately, Claude is tall enough that it isn't very hard to reach the fruit, and he manages to get his hands on one in no time. He looks it over before offering it to her.]

A PAIR OF PAOPU FRUIT FLY DOWN FROM THE TREE

AND ATTACH THEMSELVES TO CLAUDE'S BACK

okay no. But Nagisa gives Claude a big smile when he hands her the fruit.]

Thank you very much, Claude! Um... Did you want to try some too?

[TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, NAGISA!!!]

Well, I guess a little piece couldn't hurt. [He takes the fruit and breaks off one of the star's "points." It's still kind of a big piece, but he doesn't have to eat all of it. He hands the rest of the fruit back to her.] It smells really sweet.

[BUT YOU DON'T WANT TO KILL THE POOR FRUITS, DO YOU...

Sniffing her piece for a moment, she nods.] Ahh it really does smell sweet! And it smells kind of good, too... [The question is, does it taste good too? Well, there's only one way to find out! And so she takes a bite to taste it..!]

[YOU'RE RIGHT... I JUST CAN'T DO IT...

He decides to take a small bite of the fruit. It tastes as sweet as it smells! It tastes pretty good, though... Too good, in fact. He ends up eating the whole piece before he realizes it.]

Wow... It's amazing!

[IF YOU WANT TO CHILL WITH NAGISA JUST SAY SO THEN. Rather than being a paopu fruit murderer...]

It tastes wonderful! I really like it. [Almost as much as dangos. Maybe. Claude had only taken that one point of it though, and as much as Nagisa likes it, there's no way she could finish the rest, so she breaks off another piece and offers it to him.] You can take some more if you want, Claude!

[Nagisa is more understanding than he thought...! He smiles at her offer.]

Don't mind if I do.

[And he'll eat that piece, too. He thought the fact that people were eating this stuff so willingly was really strange, but... well, he's pretty much completely forgotten about that already.]

Once he takes that piece, she continues to finish up her own. The fruits are delicious, so clearly there's nothing to be suspicious about at all!]

Ahh I can see why lots of people have been eating these!

Yeah, me, too. I wonder if they have things like this in the store?

[She goes to the grocery store on a near-daily basis..] I haven't seen them there before, but maybe they'll start appearing there because everyone likes them so much.

[And then the thought of paopu fruit smoothies comes to mind. That sounds like a really good idea yes.]

That would be great. I certainly wouldn't mind if they did. [He would eat them forever.] Hey, why don't we take another one of these and sit down?

Me neither.. I hope they do that. [If not, she'll just have to take some home with her.

But that sounds like a great idea, so she smiles and nods.] Mm, okay! I'd really like that.

[mirrorblade]

All right, hold on... [He reaches up to try and take another one of the fruits. When he pulls it down, he offers it to Nagisa.] Here you go.

[Taking ti, she gives him a big smile.] Thank you, Claude! Um... Where should we sit?

Well, let's see.... [He turns to look around for a moment.] Why don't we sit near the water?

Ahh that sounds nice! Let's do that. [Shall we walk on over there?]

[So over by the water we shall go! Hopefully Nagisa doesn't mind how casually Claude reaches for her hand so that they can walk over there together...!]

[Normally she would mind and fluster at least a little, even if she is starting to get used to the fact that many of the people in Luceti are very... touchy with their hugs and hand-holding. Right now though? Not at all!

[That's good! Even if this is completely unnecessary and Claude would normally know that. But for now, he walks with Nagisa until they reach the shore, stopping right where the edge of the waves meet the beach. He lets go of her hand then and waits for her to sit down before he does the same.]

[It is completely unnecessary, but that clearly doesn't matter right now... Once they get there and Claude lets go, Nagisa plops onto the ground and waits for him to sit down as well while she breaks off a piece of the new fruit.]
