I'm not about to tell you that feelings like that are clear cut, or even that I'm the best with them but... I've got a few simple questions, if that's okay.

Do you feel safe with him?

Most of the time. I don't believe he'd ever hurt me, but... he's not always the most [word, word, what's the word] stable. He can freeze up or go off and it's not easy to tell what he'll do when. And in most situations we'd find in Luceti, I'd be more concerned about him than myself.

[I'm a better fighter.]

He's not - stupid - but he tends to be very self-destructive when he fights. He loses a sense of what's going on around him, though he's been getting better at that, actually...

[Rambling a bit. Back to the point, Katara.]

But yes - I'm not threatened by him.

Not what I meant. If a guy's going to hurt you then he's a loser you should take out back and empty a can of mace in the face of. I'd trust you to not give a guy like that the time of day.

I'm not going to disagree there... but the type of person I like isn't necessary one I can depend on for everything, but is the one who will always be there when I want them. That's all.
