Summary: It's finally here, an entire day dedicated to celebrating the starfish and spending time with friends. Have fun!

After months of planning and roping in poor, innocent people to help out with some of the work it's finally done. An actual festival, all for the starfish.

The morning of the 14th mostly consists of people arriving, the stalls being brought in and decorations being put up. It's all about the preparation! Most of the decorating consists of banners and streamers you might find at a school festival, all hung around doors and windows and between the buildings in the plaza. And star shaped pieces of card being stuck up here and there in places too. If the decorations don't tell you what's going on then the banners saying 'STARFISH FESTIVAL' certainly will.

Come midday the festival is in full swing. There's plenty of food at many of the stalls (either prepared by Fuuko and the other girls or brought in by other villagers) ranging from cake, ice cream and different kinds of sweet things, to starfish tea, sandwiches, all sorts of festival fare. There are a few games set up too where it's possible to win starfish related prizes like pins, badges and even plush toys and some stalls are even giving out wind chimes. Finally there's also a little entertainment provided with music being played in the background throughout most of the festival. (You should totally go listen to Kotomi giving her very own violin recital.)

By night time when most of the food is gone there will be a fireworks display to bring an end to the festival. Hopefully the Starfish Festival would be a day to remember!

(You didn't need to receive an invite in order to come, that was just the girl's attempt at getting word of the festival out there. The festival is open to anyone and everyone to come along and have a good time.)

Fuuko can manage like this! How could Fuuko leave any of these little guys in a bag when Fuuko is more than capable of holding them all close to Fuuko's heart like this?

[Just going to rub her cheek over her pile of starfish things. Today is the best day ever and everything is wonderful.]

[Oh, how could he forget about her? Shall flip some noodles and winks in her direction.

Oho~~? It seems fate has tied us together once again.

Hmm... Maybe if you look at a pineapple from above it could resemble some sort of many-limbed starfish, but it would definitely not look like the classic five armed starfish. It works well enough though!

[Taking the slushie Fuuko tries her best to down it in one, only to screw up her eyes and put the the drink back down.]

Fuuko's head is hurting, it stings! Why do slushies have to be made with ice?! [Brain freeze. Ow. But she pushes on and eventually finishes the drink.] Fuuko has finished! Thank you very much Zack-san, Fuuko can see why such a painful drink would be at the bottom. What's next!?

It's really nice of the starfish to let Fuuko makes badges of the starfish like this! Would you mind if Fuuko pinned a badge onto your clothing or would you rather do it yourself? Fuuko wouldn't want to ruin whatever fashion it is you're rocking today.

[That's what clothes designers and fashionistas say, yeah? Rocking something? Fuuko is so cool and hip today.]

This is the Starfish Festival, can't you tell? It's the first ever festival of its kind in Luceti and Fuuko is very proud to be holding such an original and wonderful event here!

[And it'll probably be the only festival of its kind too. Until next year. Maybe.]

How very horrible, if anyone ends up thinking there a real starfish in there then Fuuko will be quick to correct them! [Who would drink a starfish anyway?!]

Fuuko is sure they almost floated up to heaven after taking just one sip! Okay, Fuuko will drink some now. [Sluuurp.] Bwah! It's delicious, not as sweet as Fuuko thought but definitely tangy and refreshing! Fuuko is certain the starfish would be happy with this.

They are, aren't they? Fascinating is only one of the words Fuuko can think of to describe the starfish. They're also cute, adorable, wonderful, amazing, awe-inspiring and so much more!

[What.] Fuuko is not your cousin, don't get so lost in the illusion that you do something you'll regret Arata-san. [Trying to worm her hand out of his grasp.]

What's so good about getting girls?

[Look, he's heading into his teenage years of thinking girls are cute but he's not there yet (just about 13!!!) and he's had a life full of misfortune dealing with any sort of human. He's got reasons. And time to wait.]

[It sounds like a dumb thing to hold a festival about, but hey: ~free fun~]

Are they tasty?

[Aw come on Minato! Battler will try and get a smile out of you yet.

This is a pretty nice camera though, where'd you get it?

Want me to pass you some streamers and you toss them around where you want them? It's a lot easier now though, right? Ihihi!

... Would you really want to eat a starfish? Fuuko understands that you didn't know what a starfish was until now, so Fuuko will give you the benefit of the doubt but... How very horrible.

Then they're not tasty... What good are they then? Just to look at?

[Everything looks so much different this high up! SHE CAN EVEN SEE HER HOUSE WOW!]

If you think you can manage keeping Fuuko in place and passing streamers over at the same time then yes, that would be very helpful and easier for Fuuko to decorate effectively too! If you think you're going to drop Fuuko then don't bother! Fuuko will just use the few streamers Fuuko still has here.

I found it... but it looks a lot like the one I used before.

[The school had both digital and film cameras, but Minato wanted to learn about film processing... which ended up being useful, here in Luceti.]

Fuuko wouldn't know as Fuuko has never and will never ever eat a starfish! What sort of cruel person would eat such a little guy?!

[The starfish are good for lots of things!]

More than just to look at. The starfish are always there to keep you company if you're feeling lonely! And they feel so soft and squishy that you could pet a starfish for hours on end and never get bored!

[~~fuck i meant 5'11 what is typing~~. Hah! He laughs at such a claim!]

No way no way! I can manage, trust me! You're not heavy or anything so it's easy.

[he kneels down a bit and grabs some of the streamers before standing back up straight- making sure she's not about to fall or anything. Here ya go Fuuko! He passes more to her.]

You found it? [he looks over at him.] How does someone just find a camera?

At the shop? A lot of things show up if you check enough.

And this is why- [he hands the camera back to Minato.] I really need to stop just going to the library. I've been determined on reading most of the books here.

I guess. But you can do things with horses. Like ride them. Whereas starfish kind of just... sit there.

Maybe we'll find out from what kind of things they have at this festival...
