Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

[Well... at least she can say it's not dull. Some of the places and attractions are less intriguing than others and frankly the lines are enough to make her consider pinning a person or two to a wall here and there just to make things move quicker but eventually she does get to try at least a ride here and there.]

[In all honesty, Mai has made the decision to give Bubble Land a wide berth. The architecture didn't do a thing for her and the costumed workers were more ridiculous than anything else. ... Was that someone dressed as a giant turtleduck?

The Paddle-Boats of Love earn the most disdain here. After peering down the line trying to figure out what the heck the ride was, she gives the resulting knowledge that it's some lovey-dovey boat ride a good eyeroll. Yeah okay, avoiding this one. ... Until she's forced or gets sucked into the line anyhow.

And it's entirely possible that she might step into one of those Shifts, ending up a whole lot younger. After that, no one can drag her back into Bubble Land, nope.]

[Casino Land is a little saner than Bubble Land. And a whole lot saner than Cartoon Land. Mai will just be here trying her hand at a little gambling.

And yes, taking advantage of the Buffet. What, they had an array of spicy things. You want her to turn that down?]

[Now Thrill Land is more Mai's speed. If one ends up running into Mai here, expect her to be hitting up each and every roller coaster, from Tyr's Legacy to the Gummi Coaster. And of course she's going on the Orbiter.

... It's kind of sad how unimpressed she looked by all of them though.]

[You want to spend enough time in the company of apathy to do anything else? Go for it.]

[After all, Daria is here now. She makes herself entirely at home at the poker table, and she has a good poker face to go with that monotone voice. She'll take a break for food when she needs it. For now, this is actually kind of fun. She hadn't expected to find something she didn't mind here.]

[Honestly, neither had Mai. The slot machines were dull but at least the blackjack and the roulette games were amusing. Games of chance like that appealed to her need for entertainment after all.]

So far it hasn't been going that badly actually.

I've spent my time around the poker table. It's usually better than whatever else is going on. [Considering the only poker tables she's been around before are usually an alternative to a football game or a dance or the rest of a cruise.]

Well too bad. Here's a six-year old monk popping up to greet someone he recognizes. His memories are vague in this form - and basically a G-rated version of his normal memories - but it's enough for him to recognize his fellow bittified friend.]

[Nope, no one. She's actually sulking mightily over this. Not that she particularly hated being a child when she was one but being this small again seems almost offensive somehow.

She casts a glance over at her name, then sighs.]

[Just as Mai is lining up for the Orbiter, a dizzy Sokka walks over, hand on the railing to stand up, and looking particularly ill. He's lining up to get on again.]

... I gotta do this one again.

Don't worry. I chucked it all up on the bins after the ride. I don't think I have anything left in me.

[He looked awful. Yet excited.]

[The fact Mai is in this line is... suspicious, to say the least. Why would she be even in ANY line?]

[Well, this particular maiden has quite a bored face but Loki will not take the ride into a Love Tunnel alone. According to Midgardian costums he needs a maiden to accompany him.]

[The lines at Thrill Land had taxed Sasuke's patience within the first day, especially given what all of them seemed to be for. He'd tried exactly one roller coaster, and had found it at best confusing and at worst just the slightest fraction of nauseating. The high speeds and sharp turns were nothing new to him, and really, neither were the drops - but why someone would want to be strapped to a chunk of metal for all of it confounded him.]

[He'd seen someone else leave the same coaster wearing an expression that mirrored much of how he felt, but after a glimpse he'd lost her in the crowd.]

[Now, here she was again, seated at an empty corner of one of the only tables at the buffet that wasn't crowded to the gills. With his own tray full of things savory, spicy, or drowning in vinegar, Sasuke figured his options were between wedging himself into a seat crowded around with obnoxious children (physical ages variable), or...]

Care if I join you? You look like the one sane face in this room.

Considering what the other tables are crowded with, that doesn't say much.

[That said, the teenager inclines her head slightly in the direction of an empty seat as she holds some obscenely hot bit of food between the ends of her chopsticks. No she didn't want one of those forks, thanks.]

[One corner of Sasuke's mouth quirks up a bit at that, but he takes the seat across from her all the same.]

[He's silent at first as he slips the metal chopsticks out of their paper casing, never really having been one to fill the space with small talk. He takes a moment to try a few of the tsukemono before returning his eyes to her.]

Interesting to meet someone else who isn't falling all over themselves with excitement at this new bullshit.

Like there isn't enough stupidity going on normally.

[She casually makes use of her wasabi pile on a bit of sushi, deeming it palatable in the next bit. Despite the way she talks, her actions are refined enough to speak of some higher socializing... or a family with money.]

If I was thrilled every time something stupid happened, I'd never do anything else.
