[ Because it does appear we are about to get on the ride. Ready, Ion? :D ]

[He's about as ready as he's gonna get.]

[It takes more willpower than he thought it would to convince himself to get into the seat, and once he's in, he almost immediately starts clinging to the safety bar in front of them. He... might be shaking just a little bit.]

This ride... has seat belts, right?

Y--yeah. You need to buckle it, see?

[ As Kohan buckles his own. Come on Ion this isn't hard. ]

O-Oh! Right, right...

[It actually takes him a moment to find his, since he was just sitting on it. Though even once he's got the thing on, he doesn't feel any more secure. Now they're just doing the final safety checks...]

[But Ion doesn't want Kohan worrying about him now that they're on the ride. That would make all this for nothing! So it's brave face time.]

This should be fun... right?

[He sounds like he's trying to convince himself.]

Yeah.

[ Though he sounds a little hesitant when he says it. Maybe... taking Ion on this wasn't such a good idea after all. ]

It'll be fine. Just... relax, and go with it.

[ And hang on tight because IT'S ABOUT TO GO WITH THEM... ]

[Ion nods, taking a deep breath and-- oh no, are they going up? Why are they going up? He is not mentally prepared for going up yet...!]

[And this just so happens to be one of the taller roller coasters in the park, so with every inch they climb, Ion's eyes get wider and wider. He really wants to close them, but he feels frozen right now. By the time they reach the top, he'll have already switched from clinging to the bar to clinging to Kohan's arm.]

[And then they reach the top. And Ion realizes they're going to drop down from that height.]

[And that's about the time he makes this face.]

[ Meanwhile, once they about reach the top, Kohan's excitement for the ride he's been waiting three days to get on is a sufficient distraction from the boyfriend gripping his arm.

Dude's got priorities, okay. ]

[Well, that's all fine and dandy, because that's exactly what Ion wanted! He just didn't anticipate going through such horrors to get there. Thankfully he finally manages to close his eyes just as the car starts tipping over the edge, but by then, he'll have gone from simply clinging to Kohan to practically burying his face into the side of his arm.]

[And that's how he'll stay the whole rest of the ride, even after they slow to a stop at the end of it. Kohan might have to pry him off to get free.]

[ Meanwhile, Kohan is having a great time! And by great, we mean awesome! He doesn't quite let go of the bar, but he does whoop a few times over the course of the ride.

And when they pull back into the station, he goes to stand... only to find himself firmly clamped in. ]

Uh... hey, Ion?

[Ion looks up quickly as soon as he hears Kohan's voice, then immediately regrets the sudden movement and is back to burying his face into Kohan's arm. Though in that brief moment when he was looking up, he didn't look so good. He looked pale... which is impressive for someone like Ion whose usual complexion is already very pale.]

[But they can't exactly stay in their seats when there's more riders wanting their turn, so he'll be able to stand when Kohan does. But he's not going to say anything, and will keep his face low and a shaky hand gripping Kohan's arm.]

[ Sobbb. ]

Ion? Are... are you okay?

[ As soon as they're out of the car, he tries to support Ion a little better as he starts leading him towards the exit. ]

[He gives something of a non-committal nod to the question, but it's not until they're finally out of the exit gates that he stops Kohan and takes a step back.]

[He still doesn't look up, but he gestures with a hand for Kohan to wait there a moment.]

[And then, without another word, he turns quickly on his heel and goes right up to the nearest conveniently-placed garbage can and loses his lunch.]

[ Kohan just watches awkwardly for a few seconds, waiting for Ion to finish, not quite sure what to do. ]

... Sorry.

[Ion doesn't hear Kohan's apology, and it takes at least a minute or two until he even dares turn around. When he finally does, the color is back in his face, but he's still pretty shaky.]

[And he's going to try really really hard to pretend that didn't just happen.]

...s-sorry. Did you enjoy the roller coaster?

Yeah. But... do you want to head back to your room? Maybe lying down for a while...

[ will make you feel better because dude that couldn't have been pleasant ]

[Lying down did sound like it'd be nice right about now. Even after that, he still felt a little nauseous and dizzy.]

[But he'd probably be left there by himself, right? He couldn't possibly expect Kohan to just sit with him while he rests -- even if he did so willingly, Ion would feel bad forcing him to miss out on the rides. Though it's not as thought Ion can let him enjoy them as long as he's here if they'll just make him sick. If he could just figure out a way to deal with waiting while Kohan is on the rides...]

N-No, I'm all right. I'm still a little dizzy, but I'm sure I can walk it off.

[That smile on his face is the exact same one as when he said he'd be fine on the ride. The smile that pretty much gives it away that he's pushing himself more than he knows he should.]

Ion... you don't need to push yourself.

[ /ALL OF THE GUILT ]

[Aaand then here's the face he makes when he knows he's been caught.]

...I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't, but I wanted to spend the day with you.

That doesn't mean you need... Look, let's at least sit down for now, okay? We can... figure out what we'll do.

All right.

[He glances around to see if there's a bench nearby -- and oh hey, there is! But he's going to make sure not to walk too far ahead of Kohan, as if worried one or both of them might get lost in the crowd.]

[...at least he feels somewhat better sitting down, but he's starting to look a little pale again.]

[ Well it's not like there's a plethora of benches for him to lose Ion among, but he stays close and quickly follows Ion to the bench. ]

Do you want... a drink, or anything?

[Like some water to rinse his mouth out with? Of course! But that would mean either Kohan needing to leave, or Ion having to get up again. So he shakes his head.]

No, I'm fine, thank you. Although... would it be all right if I leaned against you? Just for a moment...

[And then maybe he'll be able to feel better without needing to go lay down! ...or that's the dream, at least.]

[ Yeah, he doesn't believe you but... he's not really sure why Ion would say otherwise, so. He'll just believe him for now. ]

Yeah... sure. Of course. Go ahead.

[ He even scoots a little closer to Ion to help. ]

[He leans his head against Kohan's shoulder, taking a few deep breaths to try and calm himself back down and... well, try to keep himself from getting sick again. But it only takes a minute or two of that to tell that's it not quite working as he hoped it would.]

...perhaps I should go back and lay down for awhile after all.

Alright. ... Can you stand again?

[ Please say yes. ]
