Summary: The whole village is invited for a giant celebratory feast at the Battle Dome! Food, festivities, and fun for all. As a side note, Rapunzel would have posted to the journal about this a few days ago to invite everyone and ask for help, so if you want to handwave your character volunteering/talking to her about it, that's perfectly fine!

Thanks to the help of Luceti's wonderful residents, the feast was ready more or less on time. The Battle Dome had been programmed to look like an old-fashioned great hall, table wall to wall and covered with all sorts of dishes. You want mashed potatoes and gravy? There are mountains. Yams? Got you covered, bro. Baked bean casserole? Naturally! And since Rapunzel is still sort of new to this holiday to herself, some more unusual dishes may have shown up as well. She tried. And don't forget dessert! There's almost as many desserts as regular dishes, from pies to cakes to breads to pudding, so hopefully you saved some room! To drink, there's a variety of punch, spiced pumpkin drinks, and ciders with a hard option for those so inclined.

The hall has been decorated with all sorts of festive touches that the decorating team put up, completing the pleasant harvest-themed atmosphere. So take a seat, eat all you can, enjoy the music and try not to fall asleep too early!

[Rock Lee has been running himself ragged to make sure that this dinner comes together well! Running to and fro to help with every department. Programming the simulation - he just needed an occasional reminder not to program in enemy AIs - and using what he's learned at Seventh Heaven to prepare some of the food for the festivity. And he's even been speeding around, setting up decorations and whatnot. All without signs of breaking a sweat! Rapunzel's back, so he's intent on making sure this special celebratory feast is as special as possible.

And then, once it's time to eat... he waits on people. Lee rushes over to various people in order to ask them:]

Excuse me! What can I get for you? Do you have any comments or complaints?!

[Or in the proverbial B option, after all the food has been eaten, Lee will be going around poking people in the shoulder, in order to collect interest for starting a sparring ring in one corner of the hall!

Also it's his birthday.]

[Late due to a shift at the clinic, Hinata has come to check in on people and to give a certain friend his birthday gift. It's not much, but she hopes that he appreciates the pressed lilies, new sweatbands and a pair of sandals that she's sure are in his size.

He is easily spotted, talking to others in his signature green jumpsuit and she heads over to him, the box in hand. She waits until he is done speaking before bowing and presenting him with his gift.]

Happy Birthday, Lee-san.

[Rock Lee turns to face Hinata- taken aback by her sudden appearance and her gift.]

Ah... Hinata-san! [He hurriedly bows right back at her!] This is a pleasant surprise... You did not have to do such a thing!

[She smiles openly as she straightens up, happy to see him so well on today of all days.]

It is a pleasure to present this to you, Lee-san. I... it is perhaps not the same as the party we threw for Neji-niisan's last birthday all together, but it is the least I can do for someone who has been such a good friend to my honored cousin and myself.

[Neji. The mention of him definitely ups the emotionalness of Lee's reaction, as his eyes get watery.]

Hi-Hinata-san... Thank you. I am honored by... by your thoughtfulness! May I open it now...?

[It's not easy for Hinata to speak of her cousin so lightly. Only can she speak with Lee and Saori so freely.]

Of course, Lee-san. I would like that very much.

[Lee still has difficulty discussing it with anyone. But he nods solemnly at Hinata as he looks over the package.]

Then, I will do so, Hinata-san! [And so he sets it down at a cleared portion of the table and quickly unravels it, marveling at what Hinata has gotten for him.]

Ah... This is all so lovely!

[Hinata knows that despite the pain her cousin's death causes her, that he would not want her or any of their friends to dwell on his sacrifice. Not when they had lives to live, especially when they were able to be somewhere without constant fighting, unlike back home.

She watches as he tears into the package, pleased that she remembered to bring it with her that evening.]

I am glad that you like it. I figured that I would give you both practical and beautiful things that you could equally enjoy.

[Besides, lilies are his favorite, right?]

[He takes a moment to sniff at the pressed lilies, then he looks over the sandals and sweatbands while grinning widely.]

Yes... Practical and beautiful... This must be the best combination! [Then he gives her a thumbs up.] Thank you so much, Hinata-san!

[She giggles softly at his reaction. When he is happy, it's hard to be unhappy near him. It's definitely part of his charm.]

You are very welcome, Lee-san. Happy Birthday. If the sandals do not fit, please let me know. I will find others that do.

If such a things happen, I will be sure to tell you! But I know there will be no problems... I trust in your efficiency and your thoughtfulness, Hinata-san!

[She blushes at he compliment, realizing for a brief second how much Lee was like Gai-sensei. She misses their friends and family so much in that instance than her smile falls a little.]

Thank you for your faith, Lee-san. I only hope that that is true. Please enjoy the rest of your day.

Don't worry! I hope that you enjoy this day, too... at least twice as much!

Thank you, Lee-san, but it is your birthday. It is far more important that you have a good day than myself.

[You will never change her mind in this instance. Get used to it.]

But, if I do have such privileges on my birthday... What if I cannot have the best possible day unless a dear friend of mine has one that's even better?

[She smiles softly at him, pleased and embarrassed at the way he's turned this around on her.]

Then I shall strive to make sure that I have a good day as well. For your sake, Lee-san.

Thank you, Hinata-san. That is the least I would hope for! Now, ah... There are a number of splendid dishes which can be sampled!

Yes, they all look amazing. [She smiles a little sheepishly.] And I admit that I am a little hungry, but I must find others first.

Ah! Well I hope that you complete your quest and enjoy the food soon!
