Summary: An amusement park has popped up in Luceti. It's all over here.
Rating: F is for friends who do stuff together!

Just some notes here not in the mod post -
1) The weather will be bright and partly cloudy for the rest of the month on the beach side of things. A nice cool sea breeze will keep people from melting out there.
2) All the old Luceti Land rides are still available. However, feel free to make up your own attractions and rides as well.
3) Since this is around for two weeks, we may put up another mass log if this one gets too full. So keep an eye on that!
4) Don't forget to tag your character's name on to the log! If you don't have one yet, just let us know and we'll get you hooked up.

As way of explanation for all this, Bil will have written a message on the first page of the journals. It cannot be replied to, it simply states:

"My condolences for all the trouble. You were due for an experiment today, but I thought you might enjoy an amusement park instead. It seemed like the sort of thing the Great One would do."

[Grune blinks. And then, like it or not, Ginia is getting a hug.

The persona Grune is now staring into space. With no one talking to her, she went off in her own head and had missed the persona Ginia's words entirely.]

[Her persona's words hurt. Ripper's words hurt. Even the looks Giles is giving her and the hug Grune offers hurt. But Ginia shows no reaction, just the slight tightening of her lips and tension in her body before she hides it all behind a smile and puts all her walls back up.

She looks over at Grune and returns the hug slightly - it really is appreciated - before she gently pulls away under the guise of freeing up her hands.]

/What did I go on to do?/ [She asks, fake cheer and all with a dash of masochism. It's required if she wants to hear about the life that had been robbed from her.

The persona's sad smile remains, but she dutifully shares, lightly dancing around the space with grace and poise.]

/I moved to Boston and began dancing there professionally around 23. Bartended on the side, sometimes times were hard, but I made it work. Dated a French businessman for almost a year, we broke up, got back together a few months later, he proposed, I said yes.

By the way, your sister eventually moved to Paris and has since rolled out her own line of clothing and owns a botique. Very nice, quite fashionable.

Your brother didn't quite make Broadway, but he had success off it and eventually began doing TV and film./

[Ripper shrinks back when Ginia dances, a scowl on his face that is the mark of a boy who never had the chance to move past "girls have cooties."] For God's sake, Tinkerbell, would you quit it?!

If you don't stay quiet right now...

[Never has Giles wanted so much to pity one of his friends.]

[After the hug is finished, Grune will hold Ginia's hand, if she lets her.

She can't even imagine what it would be like to lose your family. Her family means everything to her. For them to go away forever....]

[The contact is appreciated. Ginia maintains a light hold on Grune's hand as she maintains a very happy poker face, refusing to let anything show. It's life, you take the cards you're dealt, and you work through the bad hands. But it doesn't stop it all from hurting.

For her part, Ginia's persona still maintains that air of mischief around her. She tip toes over to Ripper, then drapes herself onto his back. Aren't you just a cute little bad boy. After a few seconds of that, she'll release him and go right back to addressing everyone.]

/I eventually got a break in Broadway and did a few big shows, enough to get noticed. You know how it goes, it's all about who you impress and who you know. Did a few tours, eventually got invited to Italy, worked my ass off and eventually got in with La Scala./

/Looks like you got the good life then. I'm happy for you./

[In response, Ripper produces a large knife from his belt and wordlessly threatens Ginia with it. Unhand him or lose the hand in question, Tinkerbell. In disgust, after that, he stalks out of the frame.]

I suppose alternate lives can't all be terrible.

[At his departure, Grune's persona at last wakes from her daze.] Oh, are we going somewhere?

No, I think Ripper just wanted to go home. [It was too bad. Even if he wasn't being very nice, she'd still wanted to talk to him when she'd finished saying hello to the dancer. Maybe she could have made him understand why it wasn't good to make other people sad.]

Oh. All right. [The persona of Grune looks out at Ginia and Giles.] Are these your friends?

[And Grune beams.] Yes, this is Ginia, and this is Giles.

[The Grune in the mirror smiles, but her expression is more vague.] I'm pleased to meet you, Ginia and Giles.

[Ginia's persona rolls her eyes and waves goodbye at Ripper as he leaves, mouthing "cazzo" to herself with light affection, before taking a seat to watch the conversation.

Ginia smiles at Grune's persona, giving a polite bow of her head.]

/Pleased to meet you too...Grune?/ [Really, with all the forms and names going around, best to make sure.]

Yes, he probably does. Sorry - he really is a bit of a prat, and to say "he doesn't play well with others" is a bit of an understatement.

[Giles is glad to see him go. And he does the same when Grune's persona speaks, nodding and smiling even at this vague sign of life.]

Yes, we are. It's nice to meet you, Grune. Even if we did, um, disturb your nap.

[Grune's persona blinks a little--Grune...that's her name, isn't it? --before smiling back.] Oh, that's all right. I love making new friends!

[Grune lets go of Ginia's hand to move in front of the mirror. This place looks familiar...hmm.] Where are you?

Hmm.... I wonder. It's a very nice place.

/A coffin is an interesting choice for a bed,/ [Ginia comments lightly, peering over at the choice of resting place.] /Looks comfortable though./

[Giles gives the real Grune a sidelong look.] Any idea where this would be? Somewhere on, on the Legacy, perhaps?

[Grune thinks about this for a moment.] Maybe Senel or Norma would know. Are they there?

[The persona of Grune looks confused again.] Senel? Norma? Are they more of your friends?

Oh, yes. Don't you remember them?

Hmm....

[Ginia draws her brows in thought as she observes the conversation, keeping everything in mind.]

You might not have met them yet, Grune. I mean...[He indicates Grune's persona] She might not have. Sh-She might be like the two you saw earlier, the children. From your past.

[lostinmyway]

Hmm.... Do you think so? [She studies the room a little more, then gives up.] Oh well.

[She addresses her persona again.] Grune, you're going to make lots of wonderful friends very soon. They're all going to make you very happy.

Oh, my, that sounds very nice. I can't wait!

[shadedsunlight]

/And in turn, you'll make them very happy too./ [She's seen the notes left by Alice about Norma and knows first-hand how bright and cheerful Grune can make things.]

((ooc; How much longer do we want to keep them in the Hall of Personas? Because if we're going to go longer, I'd like to bring Alice around for laughs and levity. Otherwise we can move on. Don't want to hog things. ><))

((ooc: Grune has one more lined up, and I can bring out another for Giles. Ginia will probably have to tell Grune that its time to leave, though.))

But what's the point in showing us our past? We know that bit. Well...most of it.

[OOC: I thought of another one I could do with Grune if you guys want a fourth persona to turn up, so yeah. And yes, neither Grune is particularly good at knowing when to leave. XD;;]


[The persona of Grune smiles at Ginia.] Oh, I'm very glad to hear that. Friends are supposed to make each other happy.

Yes, that's right. [She's glad to hear it, too. She hopes she makes Ginia and Giles and all her friends on the Legacy very happy.]

((ooc; I could do a fourth, but I'm not sure how badly I want to mindfuck Ginia with that one or show off her past. And Ginia will get her out of there. Eventually. Ginia's kinda enjoying this too >>;;;))

[Ginia smiles back with a little more warmth and sincerity. Really, it's hard enough being down around Grune, but two of them?

Though her smile fades slightly when her reflection appears back in the mirror wearing tight jeans, a fitted t-shirt, and a leather jacket. She grins and waves.]

/Hey, Beautiful. Hey, Handsome. Hello, Cupcake./

[There's a pause as Alice notices the other Grune in the mirror.]

/And hello to you too./

Hello, Alice. [The former Watcher smiles wryly.] I suppose we should have expected you.

[He looks out the edge of the mirror.] I wonder if I'll be back any time soon...

Alice! [Grune gives her a delighted smile.] I'm glad you're here.

Is this another of our friends? [Then the persona of Grune blinks and looks to the side, past the edge of the mirror.] Hmm....

[shadedsunlight]

[There's a tiny sigh, but an accepting smile as Alice appears. Of course she'd be here. However, compared to the last two, this one comes as an odd relief, strange as it is to talk to herself.]

/Hello, Alice. Thank you for taking care of me and for behaving this last week./

[Alice grins and gives a dismissive wave, siting down on the edge of Grune's coffin.]

/No problem! And hey there, Grune, good to see you! You doing all right? And Giles, don't look so unhappy, you know you love me. By the way, the bad boy lurking out there, is that you? Because if he weren't so young, I'd have some fun with him./

You're even less his type than you are mine. And there's less of an age gap between you and him than there is between us right now.

[A voice - Giles' voice, Giles' ordinary voice - can be heard from just outside the frame.] Grune? Um, I think Dhaos is looking for you. S-Something about the laundry blowing away.

[The real Grune takes a few steps towards the sound of the persona Giles' voice before she realizes who he must be talking to.

She turns back to herself in the mirror.] Dhaos is another very good friend you're going to make soon. Will you go help him?

Oh, my, I'm going to have so many friends. I can't wait! Of course I'll help him.

[Grune beams.] Thank you! That's the spirit. Charge!

[The other Grune looks at her blankly, then turns to Ginia, Giles, and Alice.] I'm very happy I could meet all of you. I can't wait to be your friend. Goodbye!

[She waves, then leaves the mirror.]
