Where: Out on the beach, centered around the teleporter/tunnel exit area. But it feels like July out there! Ain't that just the shit?

Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? Now everyone wants to play out their ships and get into fruit shenanigans and undo to evil that is AKAI.

OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

[Link bites at his lip a little, suddenly feeling rather warm at that smile.] Yeah, I - that would be really nice.

[He hesitates for a moment, then holds out his hand.]

[It's not what Tsuzuki expects, because he's used to hiding these things. It's making him feel like he's a teenager again, in a painfully sweet way.]

[Feeling a touch humbled, he wraps his fingers around Link's and gives his hand a squeeze. He doesn't dare to breathe as he does.] Where do you want us to begin? With the treasure hunt.

[Link squeezes back, suddenly rather distracted by the warmth and softness of his skin, and glances up from their hands with a little start when Tsuzuki speaks.]

Um... how about those rocks there? There's some nice pools.

[It's the best feeling in the world. It simply makes sense to be with Link. He's always felt like he's been a missing part of him, but it's just now that it snaps into place. Tsuzuki glances up towards the rocks, although his attention is more on the blond by his side.]

That sounds like a good idea. Come on.

[Any misery from the past week? Gone. Link can't stop smiling, bumping his shoulder gently against Tsuzuki's arm as they walk.]

This is really nice - we should do this more often.

[Which part, Link? The beachcombing or the holding hands?]

[The less said about last week, the better. Tsuzuki usually thinks too much about things like that, but being with Link right now wipes his worries away. It feels like he can finally breathe freely, and he's so grateful to Link for that.]

I agree. ....Link? Can we have something sweet later?

Okay. [Well, there are stands around...] How about an ice cream? We can get chocolate sauce, too!

[But... maybe later, since that'd require letting go of his hand.]

Yes!

[Link sure knows how to ~~sweet-talk~~ seal a deal. Appealing to Tsuzui's sweet tooth always works.]

And sprinkles.

[Luckily, Tsuzuki doesn't seem to be in a rush to let go of him, either. He gently tugs him towards the water.] But first, let's explore. There's no rush, right?

Okay. But you owe me chocolate sauce and sprinkles! [He gives Tsuzuki a grin, allowing himself to be tugged in the direction of the tide pools.]

[...Maybe they can share that ice cream.]

[Share two ice-creams, even. Tsuzuki can't help the way his breath catches suddenly. He just feels so much delight that he wonders if it's a trick. He doesn't normally feels this uncomplicatedly happy, and it's addictive.]

Deal! I won't forget it, promise.

[Suddenly mischievous, he tugs a little harder on Link's arm, while preparing to catch him.]

[Hurrah, ice creams! Smiling giddily at the thought, he's caught unprepared at the tug, tumbling into Tsuzuki's arms with a surprised little laugh.]

[It was an unplanned act of mischief, but since it's such a perfect opportunity, Tsuzuki twirls him once. He rarely gets to do anything related to dancing, so this moment is very precious to him.]

[He can't stop grinning as they slow to a halt. It feels like his heart is about to burst.] Sorry.

[And twirled! A broad smile still on his face, Link regards Tsuzuki with bright eyes, cheeks almost hurting from his obvious joy.]

Don't say sorry. That was kind of fun!

[It's really quite cute, in a way that Tsuzuki finds hard to resist. He has to resist the urge to kiss his nose because of it. Instead Tsuzuki laughs weakly, too caught up in the moment to care if he's acting like an idiot.]

[A small, secret smile tugs at the corner of his lips.]

It was? You're really not mad?

((OOC: the cute stuff is extremely cute and zie's one of the few artists drawing my favourite ship from Skyward Sword, but... zie also draws a lot of non-con. *wince*))

Why would I be mad? [Peaceful again, he gives Tsuzuki's hand a squeeze, a dreamy smile on his face as he rests his head against his shoulder.]

[ooc: welp, Ynm fandom has a thing for the same thing. It's probably not surprising, considering we have Muraki. It won't kill me to look through her gallery, don't worry! ♥]

[Tsuzuki holds him close, running his free hand through Link's feathers. It would have been so nice if they could stay like this, because now that he knows what it feels like to be really happy, he doesn't want to let Link go.] I dunno. Some people don't like surprises.

[Link lets out a soft sound of absolute contentment at the gentle hand through his feathers, eyes flickering shut for a moment (and missing most of Tsuzuki's words).]

Mm... nice surprise. Nice surprises are good.

((OOC: Heh, true! We have... Ghirahim and Ganondorf and various faceless characters and monsters that apparently have hidden tentacles... sob. If you want to risk it, it's here!))

[Tsuzuki can't help the bubble of helpless pride he feels when he realizes that Link feels good (and that it's somewhat his fault). He wants to make Link happy, so he continues to massage his wing. It's making him feel warm and light and wanted.]

I like those, too. We have a lot in common.

[And Link is mostly... a puddle of good feelings right now, eyes closed and smile blissful.] Uh huh... Tsuzuki, you're one of my best friends here. You know that, right?

[Actually, the best part of that is that it's not just the fruit talking - Link really does see Tsuzuki as one of his closest friends. Family, really.]

[The fruit wouldn't affect him so badly if he didn't already care for Link. They've lived together for a long while. It's impossible not to feel like family. He fluffs his feathers, finding the moment bittersweet.]

You're one of mine, too. When Ganondorf came here I was so scared he'd come after you.

[Link turns in his arms, burying his face against Tsuzuki's chest.]

I was scared he'd go after you. I didn't want him to hurt you 'cause of me... [Lifting his head sadly, he meets Tsuzuki's eyes.] Don't get hurt, okay?

[Tsuzuki understands all too well. After Muraki arrived in town, he had tried his hardest to keep his friends safe. Even so, he had still failed. He kisses the top of his head.] I'll try not to.

Don't put yourself in danger, okay?

[No dwelling on sad things, okay? Link's eyes close at the little kiss.]

I won't if you don't. [He hesitates briefly, then pushes himself up on the tips of his toes to brush a kiss across his cheek.] Thanks.

[He blinks stupidly at first, not quite believing he's that lucky. Tsuzuki touches his cheek softly, before giving Link a glowing smile. He's made his day with that kiss.]

Why are you thanking me?

[Flushing slightly, Link ducks his head.] For... for being there. You're really important to me... [His voice trails off a little.]
