Summary: An impromptu last minute stubborn celebration of something that's fun.

[Tis a mingling post. Mingle!  Seriously. The orchard's lit up, there is alcohol, there are snacks, there are mikan. There's also piles of coloured paper for much later, but that's another story.

[Vivi's having a grand old time, exploring the grove, running in and out of the trees (not always paying the most attention to where she's going, so be prepared for possible chibi princess collisions), pausing to collect the occasional sweet from the snack table, and just generally being all over the place. She's also on the lookout for more kids, to see if they'd like to play a game of tag or hide and seek.]

[She might collide with Nami at some point, then, though given the way Nami sets hands on Vivi's shoulders a half second later and braces them both, she doesn't really mind and it might have been intentional.] Hey, Vivi. Hold still a sec.

[Crouching down. She has something for you.]

[Vivi cools her jets obediently, standing in place as Nami crouches next to her. What is it? Does she have some dirt on her face? ...Nami's not gonna wipe it away with spit like Igaram sometimes does, is she?]

[Nope. Nothing of the kind. Instead, she tucks a tiny crafted paper flower (if a little simplistic) into Vivi's hair just behind her ear, dark blue and purple twisted together.]

There. I just wanted to decorate all of the orchard.

[Vivi reaches up to gingerly touch the paper flower.] Did you make it?

Yup. I'm not that used to doing them, so it probably won't last very long. But it looks pretty now!

[ Ikki tagged along with her GranGran (and Grandpa, and Uncle Sokka), and her cheerful mood only brightened further when she recognized someone running around with blue hair. ] Vivi!! [ Running up to her, because yay! ] How're you?

Ikki! [She waves as soon as the other girl's call catches her attention.] Hi! I'm sooo glad you're here too! [Because, let's face it, most of this party crowd is older people.]

I'm good! It's Nami's birthday--or, I guess it was yesterday--but anyway, we're having a party!

[breezing]

[ The under-ten demographic is just a lot more elite. With awesome. Clearly. ] Yep! I came here with my Grandpa and Katara and Uncle Sokka!

This place is really pretty! There're so many trees!

Oh, wow. Can I meet them later?? [Despite...technically already knowing Katara and Sokka when she's older. She can't remember that now.]

[She beams, certain that Nami would appreciate that complement to her grove.] They're Nami's mikan trees! Did you have any of the mikans? They're really good! Oh, and I bet we could play hide and seek in there, or maybe tag!

[breezing]

Yeah! They'd love to meet you! [ Ikki doesn't know that, either. TBH will be heartbroken when she realizes this isn't the "normal" Vivi. ]

No, I didn't yet! I'm gonna try one later though. Oh! [ squealing, and jumping up and down. ] We could! Or - or hide and seek tag! So when you find me or I find you we haveta tag the other person and then they have to go hide?

Oh, good! You can introduce me later, okay? [I knooow; it's so sad. S-sorry, Ikki. ;__;]

[And, looking around. Ikki's idea sounds like fun.] Do you think anyone else will play with us? [It seems a little dubious; it's mostly grown-ups here, and a lot of them are just talking and drinking.] ...well, it should still be enough with just two!

[Collisions, huh?

When Vivi runs into her it doesn't knock Sheena over but it definitely sends her forward a couple steps. She turns around to find the knee-high disturbance and...bam. Found you.]

You okay?

[Vivi looks properly contrite for running into the lady, giving an embarrassed laugh as she bows her head slightly in apology.] I'm sorry! I guess I wasn't watching where I was going. [Yeah, she definitely wasn't.]

I'm okay, though! [Just a little bump on her head, but it doesn't hurt.] Are you okay? I'll be more careful!

[Apologies out of the way, it seems proper to introduce herself to her unfortunate victim.] My name's Vivi!

[As Vivi runs by, she might feel a little tweak on her ponytail]

Hello, Princess-chan. Where are you off to in such a hurry?

[Vivi whirls around at the tweak, then breaks into a smile when she sees Robin.]

Hi, Robin! I was going over there! [Pointing in the direction she was headed, though there's nothing of particular interest there, just more mikan trees.]

Any particular reason? Or are you just feeling free-spirited?

Um. [Well, no reason at all, really, though now she feels compelled to provide one.] It's a race!

Oh? And who are you racing?

[Oh my goodness INCOMING CHILD. Sanji does little more than grunt at the collision, but he's soon bending down to make sure Vivi's okay]

Are you alright, Vivi-chan?

[Vivi's unhurt, though she bounced backward from the impact to land on her backside. She gives an embarrassed laugh.] I'm okay! Sorry, Sanji!

No, it's okay~! I'm just happy to see Vivi-chan so happy today~!

It's Nami's birthday party! [As if he...didn't already know that. She reaches up and grabs him by the hand, tugging him toward the cover of the mikan trees. Clearly this is some top secret stuff.]

[Girl, where are you leading him? Sanji casts an amused, unperturbed glance at the trees as he follows, wondering what Vivi could want]
