[Perona had definitely heard about the party for the pirate woman, and was actually very, very curious about it. As much as she didn't necessarily like most of the Straw Hats, Nami and the cook were the ones she tolerated the most of the crew thus far. They were the easiest to either manipulate or defeat. Or, just to amuse herself with. So imagine her surprise when she hears about a party - one that, gasp, she was not invited to.

So, after a bit of recon done by her hollow ghosts, Perona makes her way to the orchard, flanked by two of the said ghosties. Just let them try and stop her from joining in the festivities. That'll surely end out well, oh yeah...

Though the area is quite nice, she has to admit.]

[Dude you totally got an invite. Technically. Because Nami's one of the few people you didn't attack, okok. On the other hand, those ghosts--

[And there's the devil herself. The ghosts swirl out of Nami's way, but they still linger very close by, smiling happily and floating above the two women's heads.]

Hm? Ah, my mistake! I can send them away, but...I don't know if they'll try to avoid passing through anyone, horohoro. I could tell them not to, but I'm a little thirsty... I could use a drink.

Cause trouble here and you'll find half the guest list will be able to wipe the floor with you, Perona. [She sticks a thumb over her shoulder.] Ditch the ghosts. Drinks are over there, food is over there, pinwheel pile is over there. Knock yourself out.

[Ugh, wow, rude. It's like the Pirate woman expects her to blow things up or something. Perona crosses her arms and returns the exact same look, though there's more of a sneer than a scowl. Goodness, all she wants is a good time! ...And someone to wait on her hand and foot.]

What a rude host you are, Pirate Woman! Is this the hospitality of the famed Straw Hat pirates? ...But all right, I won't do anything so long as I'm treated well. [She raises her arm and beckons the two ghosts, who float back toward the girl and reabsorb themselves into her body.] Satisfied?

[and then there was a boy with a fledgling mustache and an arm in a cast who was spinning (yes, spinning) towards Perona as part of a plan to hit on her. What do]

[Okay, that...is actually really darn creepy, and considering who this is and where she lives, that is saying something. Perona feels a shiver run up her spine as she plucks a mikan from one of the tree's branches glancing around cautiously. Whaaaat is this sudden strong feeling that she's being watched from all sides?]

[HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF GOD.

With a high-pitched shriek, Perona reflexively hurls the poor mikan away from her at full speed, flailing her arms and hugging herself after. What the hell was that?! So gross, so gross! She was planning on eating that fruit, too!]

Eh? Yes, these are my hollows. ...If you're wise, you won't touch them. [Though aforementioned ghosts wave and smile happily, chattering the chants of "ne-ga-tive!" in a song-like voice.]

[He looks at them, growing increasingly confused.]

Oh, I... never heard of hollows. Something bad happens if you touch them?

Eh, well they're like any other ghost! And all ghosts are hollow, aren't they? They pass through all things, and you can see right through them! [Perona turns her head to one of her ghosts and smiles at it rather fondly.]

But mine are special. These ones make you feel very negative - horohoro, the hollow servants of the Ghost Princess!

Aaah, Perona-chan made it~!

[If nothing else, there is one pirate excited to see her, and he wastes no time bounding up -- and giving those ghosts a wide berth because he remembers.]

[Oh, one of the only people here (possibly) that Perona's actually pleased to see. She actually even smiles when Sanji approaches, and her hollows arc overhead so he can approach, though they still watch like overly happy hitmen. You only get one strike, Sanji. ]

Mm, I did. Though I'm not sure your pirate woman is very happy to see me here. [OH WELL.] Are you feeling better now, Mr. Cook?

[His pirate woman, she says. Thank goodness Nami isn't within hearing distance or she might rain lightning from the sky. Though the very fact Perona is here and hasn't been kicked off the premises Sanji takes to mean as a form of compromise - the birthday girl must be fine with it]

Indeed I am~! How kind of beautiful Perona-chan to inquire about the state of my health~! [Wiggle wiggle dance dance]

And you? In need of assistance? Perhaps you'll find the snack table to your liking?

[Ahaha, what an insufferable imbecile. It's almost endearing the way he acts around her. Or at least she's getting more and more fond of the attention, if the way she giggles and quirks her head to one side is any indication. He's actually kind of cute when he tones it down a little bit. If only he was still a denguin, then Perona would be utterly enamored with him. Sigh, but beggars can't be choosers...]

Horohoro, did you make it all yourself, Mr. Cook? If so, I'll definitely partake of what you have to offer! I haven't been disappointed, yet. You'll show me what's available, won't you?

[Hey lady. You have pretty hair, but more importantly, what are those things floating next to you? They kind of look like...ghosts. Vivi will be peeking from behind a mikan tree as she tries to figure it out.]

[Perona herself doesn't see Vivi from her hiding spot but one of the two hollows seems to spot her and arches in mid air, turning its head to one side and sliding out its long tongue from between its smiling lips. Another moment later, it begins to beckon Vivi over by waving its arms up and down, chanting a mantra of "ne-ga-tive!".]

[That seems...suspicious. But not exactly scary, like she'd expect a ghost to be. And they're with that lady, and she must be Nami's friend if she's at her birthday party. So it must be okay. FLAWLESS LOGIC.]

[Vivi edges out from behind the tree and starts in the hollow's direction.]

[Pretty soon, the hollow begins to twirl around its master (who is enjoying some mikan she nabbed from the trees) and Perona turns over her shoulder to follow the line of her hollow's sight. Oh, it's...a child. A familiar looking one at that. Perona wipes her hand on her skirt and stares the girl down, looking from her back to her ghosts, who're still beckoning in their usual way.]
