Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? Now everyone wants to play out their ships and get into fruit shenanigans and undo to evil that is AKAI.

OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

[Simba's main interest is actually the water. He's at the water's edge, seemingly considering whether or not to go swimming.

And, of course, he's humming to himself. This time around, it's a slightly more familiar tune.]

[Zenigata happens to be wandering along the beach himself. He's had a fairly pleasant week, and hasn't seen much of his estranged son. This doesn't strike him as all that odd, but when he sees the lion humming he walks up, trying to be friendly in his own sorta way...]

Hey Simba. Going for a swim?

[redheadlion]

[The delighted humming sinks down into a less than pleased "hrm". He looks over his shoulder at his "father", frown creasing his face.]

I'm thinking about it. It's fun.

[Not that you would know anything about fun, old man!!!!1!!!]

Yea, it can be. I used ta really enjoy it when I was younger. Gettin' to old for it now though I guess.

Hahah! Relax, don't worry about it. Hey, I'm parched, and this water's no good for drinking. Let's go find something to drink.

[Or perhaps a delicious and juicy friendship fruit. Simba dances a bit as he walks, walking to the beat of the song.]

[it's kinda hard to miss a lion so Aqua heads over to finally meet him in person. instinct tells her to be cautious, but she isn't afraid at all. in fact, she's smiling when she walks up.]

Hi, Simba! What are you up to?

Hey, Aqua! I'm thinking about maybe going for a swim. I'm actually trying to find a good place to dive off of into the water.

[humility]

Mm, it's a little hard to dive from the shore. But you could make your way in slowly and...paddle?

[redheadlion]

Hmm...

[He turns around, running a distance from the water, seizing up the shore, and running full speed. He leaps...! And belly-flops a fair distance from the water.

He seems to be perfectly good at swimming, at least.]

[Aqua RUNS OVER that looked like it hurt sdglhsjdk]

[He surfaces, laughing and swiping a paw at her. Claws withdrawn, of course!! He just wants to knock you into the water.]

[Hey, Simba! Mind someone joining you on that tune with a kazoo? Kazooie's just in the mood to play, lately, and you're pretty much giving her a straight line.

... of course, she doesn't really know the song, and... it's a kazoo, so it's probably not that musical. But better than her singing. A lot better.]

[Huh! Strange sound.]

Hey, can you back up with the "ah-wheem-boh-wet" part?

[He hums the tone he's talking about, at least.]

Why not? [And Kazooie returns with a buzzing kazoo rendition of the same tune - probably a bit silly, but nice enough.]

[Simba taps his paw to find the beat, waiting for the right cue before letting loose and singing as loud as he could.]

[Holy crud, that's kind of loud - but weirdly cool. It reminds Kazooie of her stage themes - that omnipresent music that nobody ever seemed to question at home, but here stands out like a sore thumb.

And so she keeps playing, trying to play a little louder to bring out the buzzing cadences of the song - it swells in harmony with Simba's surprisingly-strong voice, sounding rather like an autotuned swarm of bees.
