Where: All over the village!
Summary: It's a wintertime jamboree. Go ice skating. Hand out gifts to those you love. (Or want to prank, as the case may be.) Deal with meddling, creepy elves. Kiss a lot of people. It'll be good. Except for the parts where it'll be awkward. But that's what we're here for, isn't it?
Rating: Anywhere from PG to R, I imagine. If you need to play out sexytimes, please either fade to black and take it elsewhere or CLEARLY mark the thread in the subject line. (The former is preferable, but not strictly necessary.)

[19th - 23rd]

[Needless to say, Pilouette is pretty surprised to find a creepy little elf in her apartment. She's ever more surprised when not only does it turn out the little guy can talk, but it starts telling her what to do. Pilouette's not about to refuse him either, given the kind of things that tend to happen in Luceti.

So, she's going about the village in holiday appropriate attire with a basket of Christmasy cookies and offering them to anyone who happens by.]

U-Um! Hello! Would you like one?

[Later on, she'll get a new task...She will be carrying around a large, very conspicuous songbook (with the Elf sitting on her shoulder and playing what appears to be a tiny accordion) and has to sing a Christmas Carol for anyone who asks.

Singing has never been something she was particularly proficient at. But the elf said she had to do it and she's going to make an attempt.]

[The 24th]

[This day, Pilouette will be going about delivering her gifts. She would have waited until Christmas, but...elf. She initially doesn't notice that mistletoe, and might end up standing right under it once or twice.]

[Ami is out with some last-minute errands, when she happens to run into Pilouette. She can't help a smile at the outfit as she dips her head in a quick greeting.]

You look very festive. [Is it alright to take some of the cookies? Well, probably, as long as she returns the gesture sometime over the holiday - and she certainly will.]

And the cookies look delicious. I could learn a lot about baking from you.

[A sheepish little grin forms on her face.]

Oh! Uh, thanks! I-I don't think anyone could learn anything from me, though. I mean, it's not like I'm an expert or anything...!

[Ami... has graduated from being proud of efforts that still resulted in burning the poor things. She really could still use practice and pointers.]

What sort of recipe did you use?

Well, it was just a regular old sugar cookie recipe, really. Like, I had to make lots of them, so I couldn't really do anything fancier or it would have totally taken forever, even using two pans...!

It looks like you made quite a few. But, is it really alright? If it was because of the elves? You shouldn't have had to if you didn't want to.

[Kyon is also delivering gifts today, and while he might mostly make fun of her every time he comes across her, --

'Well, it's all the more reason to deliver apology cookies.

...Besides, I made extras.'

So when he spots her standing in a doorway, he waves briefly and heads over himself.]

[Well, there's someone she has talked to in a while! She smiles and waves back trying to balance the packages she's carrying. She still has a few left to deliver, but surely it won't hurt to stop and chat.]

Kyon! Kyon, hi!

Hey. How's it going? [He glances at those packages.] Lots of gifts to give out, huh?

Yeah! I didn't really know anyone last year, so it's like, kind of nice to have people to give stuff to, you know?

Yeah, that's true. We were both new here last year, right? Things change a lot. Granted, I'm just giving everyone the same thing, but still.

Uh, speaking of which -- do you want some? [He reaches into his pack for a bag of cookies.]

[Beast just so happens to be the one to open the door when Pilouette comes, conveniently.] Oh, h-hello, Pilouette. [Automatically staring down at that wrapped present in her hands... is that for him?]

[She grins widely, holding the package out to him, awkwardly balancing a few others with her other arm. It's wrapped in simple light blue paper with a shiny red bow on top. Even if it is a day early...]

Beast~! Hi! Like, Merry Christmas~!

M... merry Christmas. [He instinctively shrinks slightly back into the doorway when she holds out the present. He slowly and tenderly takes the package in his paws, turning it over just enough to properly examine it. A blush is slowly starting to develop on his cheeks, if at all visible.]

Oh! Also! Before I forget!

[She then holds out another box, containing a cake covered in white icing with holly somewhat clumsily drawn on it in red and green icing.]

I don't know if you like sweets or whatever, but...

Huh? [He straightens his back as soon as he sees the box and uses his free paw to flip the lid open to see what's inside. Ooh, cake! The strange holly shapes confuse him at first, but that doesn't last very long - it's still cake and it looks delicious. A small grin quickly appears on his face.]

Y-you... you made it...?

[Shinji's doing the gift-giving thing today, too, so they'll probably bump into each other in the community housing building. He's personally just trying to ignore the mistletoe—maybe if he doesn't acknowledge it, it won't count?! Well, it's worth a try, anyway.

Either way, when he sees her, he smiles a little bit and waves.]

Hey, Pilouette. You look busy.

[Pilouette smiles, holding a small pile of packages, about to head out to deliver them. She offers a polite nod before answering.]

Yup! Like, I was just about to head out! What about you? Up to anything?

[He quickly shakes his head.]

Oh, not yet, but I'll be going out, too. I have some gifts to give out. I figured I would do it today in case everyone was busy tomorrow. You never know what'll happen in this place.

[ribbonbon]

Oh...I didn't even think about that...I mean, I didn't even think of the Malnosso pulling something tomorrow, but I guess with all the stuff that's been happening in the last couple days I wouldn't be surprised...

[She lowers her voice to a whisper before continuing, just in case.]

These elves are like, a little weird, aren't they?

[He lowers his voice a little, too. He can't help it—her paranoia is somewhat contagious...]

Y-yeah. Just a little. Are they supposed to be like that?

[Maybe they're normal in other worlds, who knows?!]

[While Perona's not really changed her usual, dark, gothic style of clothing (much to the arguing of her elf), she does happen to be wearing a familiar shawl she found in the clothing shop. It's festive enough, right? And even if it's outdated, it sure as hell is keeping her arms warm. She's out looking for, obtaining, and wrapping presents for the few people she knows well enough to gift things for, and turns her head once she's called to. Or, really, once her elf chirps like an angry swallow from atop her hat.]

[Pilouette actually has kind of started having fun giving out these cookies and smiles broadly as she moves a little closer, holding out the basket.]

A Christmas cookie! Want one?

[Now, Perona only very vaguely remembers this young lady - her face rings a soft bell in the very back of her memories. It must've been from before she returned home for two years. Did she even know her name? ...Eh, it'll come back, maybe. But for now, Perona's staring at the cookie a little warily.

This just seems too good to be true. A free cookie? There has to be a catch or...or something.]

You're just...giving them away?

Well...yeah. I mean, it is Christmas after all! Plus...

[She kind of subtly glances at her own elf, who's standing nearby just to make sure Pilouette is actually doing what she's been told. She doesn't seem to quite recognize Perona, but her voice does sound just the teeniest bit familiar.]

They're like, fresh, too! I made them just this morning!
