EVERYBODY! EVERYBODY!

Who: Everybody! Everybody!
What: It's a beach! There's fruit! Love in the air! Classy private rooms in the mountains!
When: From sunrise to midnight! (AND IT'S TODAY! FEBRUARY 18th!)
Where: Out on the beach, centered around the teleporter/tunnel exit area. But it feels like July out there! Ain't that just the shit?
Summary: Summary? Why does this need a summary. I said everything up there. And then I'm gonna say even more after this. Why do we need this field? Seriously, anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Rating: KEEP IT CLEAN, KIDS. Take your dirty smut to an appointments post!

Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? Now everyone wants to play out their ships and get into fruit shenanigans and undo to evil that is AKAI.

((No, but seriously guys, look at the mod post, you know what to do. Everything you need is there. Mass log post, remember to tag your characters name here, and do your thing.))

OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

Indeed. [He cocks his head, the smile lingering as he studies Helios' features and commits them to memory.] I do not believe we have exchanged introductions. We shall have to remedy this, won't we?
folklorist: (Peaceful: You wanted to talk?)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-19 06:19 am (UTC)(link)
[ Helios will just shift a little under that gaze. Hm well he has to agree with you there, Issac. ] Oh! Yes! My apologies. I-I always seem to forget to introduce myself. Helios Sprensonne.
relictusdeus: Knifing a Belmont in the back, 'cause that's how he rolls (Ah...)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-19 07:00 am (UTC)(link)
Ah~. Helios. [A pause, as if to savour the sound of the name on his tongue.] How brightly you shine.
folklorist: (Er. Um. Don't kill me please)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-20 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
[ Helios' face sort of...goes a bit red at that statement. What. He manages to curb his surprise with a sheepish laugh. ] Y-You're familiar with-with um, the Earth's legend of the sun god then?

[ He is deflecting, don't mind him. ]
relictusdeus: (Savour it)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-20 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Does it surprise you~?

[He gives a soft, indulgent chuckle, the sort of amused sound that suggests Helios should expect him to know as much as he does.]

The castle library... was filled with all manner of books for one's pleasure; I would flip through a few when there was both the time and the desire. Delightful little tales of creatures and pagan gods have long intrigued me.
folklorist: (Peaceful: You wanted to talk?)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-20 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
Ah! W-Well perhaps just a little. [ He's not sure why he doesn't know this information but still. ] I-I suppose I just forgot that you knew. But, yes, they are certainly fascinating stories aren't they? Even more amazing when you see them in real life.

[ A smile. ]
relictusdeus: (Bitch please)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-20 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
Creatures, you mean...?
folklorist: (Rather a good listener)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-20 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! We call them mythica in my world. They're...simply fascinating and, and just in general very good company to be around and learn about.
relictusdeus: (Interesting)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-20 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
You think them good company? [With a soft 'hnph', he waves a hand dismissively.] I have seen my share of monstrous and mythical beasts within and lurking about the castle walls. It... loses its novelty, to say the least. The stories were always more... charming~.

[His eyes fall shut, a wry smile playing his lips.]

Be grateful that you do not find yourself among them. Most relish the thought of tearing a man limb from limb and drawing the marrow from his bones while he squirms in agony. 'tis far from the worst they are capable of, of course.

[While his smile lingers, the corners of his lips tighten slightly.]

Quite a few species are not beyond engaging in acts of bestiality, and, well, there is no shortage of doomed men stumbling about the corridors seeking refuge from their fellow man.
folklorist: (Downcast)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-21 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
[ Oh. Helios hunches slightly especially at that ending statement. He looks...almost sad at the description Issac gives. A part of him realizes that it's simply the nature of his world and that he can't help what the other has seen or experienced. Still. ]

I-I have been among them. In f-fact I, ah, sh-share a castle with a good few of them. Some are still a bit...violent in my world but most, most are willing to interact with humans and other mythica with open minds and arms. In-in my own world they're, they're quite peaceful and helpful actually. B-But of course that's not, not always the case with each world. It never is it seems.

[ A frown as he remembers Giles and the many talks they had about such things. ]

I-I'm sorry to, to have made you remember such things though.
relictusdeus: Laughing time is over (Ice queen / I don't care)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-21 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
[Isaac's tone sharpens, growing cold at perceived pity.] ...Think you I care for those men?

[He snorts with incredulity, glancing aside for a moment, and the bitter, humourless smile returns. Then, more softly, but with a vicious edge still:]

Pathetic creatures they are. The powerful will always rule the weak.

[Back home, he is one who possesses formidable strength after over a decade of service under Lord Dracula. But this wasn't the way it had always been. The past - or rather, his days spent in the castle before becoming a full-fledged devil forgemaster, and before Hector's arrival - is something he does not much care to think about.]

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-22 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
[ Helios winces, hunching a little at that tone and those words. ]

I-I don't think the strong should-should rule over the weak necessarily. I-I mean the two could always benefit from one another in some fashion. Whether it be one having more strength over intelligence or s-something else. I'd like to think that people can, can get along with one another relatively easy despite the obvious contrast in power.

[ It's something he's striving towards at least. ]
relictusdeus: Knifing a Belmont in the back, 'cause that's how he rolls (Ah...)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-22 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
[Well, there is something he can agree upon...]

Those who occupy lower levels in the hierarchy have their uses. But, however well two may... [There is a sneering curl of his lip.] "get along"... as you seem so very fond of, there will always be that division.

[Easier to say than 'inequality', for that word only reminds him of the sense of worth and respect he hadn't found among his fellow humans. The only being he will answer to is Lord Dracula, and willingly so.]
folklorist: (I'm just your average headmaster yep)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-22 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
N-Not if, if there's a common cause for the two to join in and work towards. Like, ah, here for example! Not everyone here is strong or powerful but sometimes that isn't a bad thing. There was...a time when the noncombatants here were quite helpful towards people who had powers.

[ A sigh. ] But, well, the division is still present yes. But I hardly see it when it comes to interacting with people.
relictusdeus: (smile in profile)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-22 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
Are you sure you are not only trying so very hard to ignore it?

[He asks teasingly, his white, half-lidded eyes fixed expectantly on Helios' face - and then, after a long moment, he decides to leave the subject at that.]

So~. What does a man like yourself do for entertainment? ...Well, aside from spouting drivel about his vision of a perfect, glorious world... [Drolly rolling his eyes.]
folklorist: (This is a thoughtful pose)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-23 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
I-I don't know. I don't...think so, really. I-I've met gods and goddesses but they've always talked to me like I was...well, an equal a-at least when we conversed together. [ He'll trail off looking back at Issac with a small frown. It's not drivel Issac it is something along the lines of a dream he shares with a very special person who is no longer with us. Still he'll take another bit of that fruit briefly to think on that. ]

Reading, writing, practicing up on my m-magic. Filial magic is quite intriguing to learn. It helps when I combine it with my own as well. A-And Luceti lends itself to keeping its residents quite occupied. There's the school, and the library too. [ A shrug. ]

Nothing too out of the ordinary in terms of pasttimes I admit. [ Aside from the whole magic thing. ]
relictusdeus: (Savour it)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-23 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
[Helios' frown does not much affect him. Making no attempt to explain himself quite yet, he then simply replies:] As I thought. A private smile of satisfaction curls his lips - and then, turning his head, he offers the man a sidelong, coquettish glance, a knowing glance.] I can feel it flowing through you.
folklorist: (Er. Um. Don't kill me please)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-25 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
[ Helios blinks looking taken aback and confused. ] Ah. Wh-what are you...t-talking about? [ He is trying to play this off, okay? He might also pale slightly as he backs away a little. ]

I-I mean. Yes I do have a bit of m-magic if, if that's what you mean. [ A frown. ]
relictusdeus: (Interesting)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-25 08:36 am (UTC)(link)
[Such reactions only fuel him, alas.]

Ah, but there is something more, isn't there? A darkness deep inside you.

[He chuckles through his nose, cocking his head in amusement.]

It seems out of place.
folklorist: (Ah that's going to leave a mark)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-25 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Helios flinches and draws away slightly more. No one was supposed to be able to see it. See him, Apep. He swallows thickly looking away and around the beach instead of at Issac. ] It-it's nothing really. I-I don't know what you're t-talking about.

[ A sheepish laugh as he rubs his arm before realizing what he's doing and stopping altogether. This calls for some grade A deflecting now, yup. ] S-So have you ever...been to a beach before?
relictusdeus: (smile in profile)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-25 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
No; I have not.

[[Pleasantly and casually, he adds:] And you~, my dear Helios, are a terrible liar. I would know, silver-tongued serpent that I am.

[He almost seems proud of the fact.]
folklorist: (Downcast)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-25 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
It-it's nothing worth n-noting at least. [ He might shift in his position looking just a tad bit uncomfortable, yup. Yes he knows. He's been told that he's a terrible liar quite a few times from Lupin. Sigh. ]

You haven't? H-How do you like it then?
relictusdeus: (Come get me!)

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-26 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
[He throws his arms wide, answering carelessly and with a tinge of annoyance:]

'tis but sand and water. What is there to like? [His arms fall gently to his sides.] ...I grow weary of your obvious attempts to direct me away from what is clearly a more interesting subject of conversation. You claim it is nothing worth noting, and yet... your manner suggests otherwise.

[A most persistent guy.]
folklorist: (Dour. Something is coming)

[personal profile] folklorist 2012-02-26 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
It's rather relaxing and warm f-for starters. M-Much better than, ah, back at the village. It also looks quite amazing when the s-sun sets.

[ Issac you are persistent. Most people wouldn't even care to ask really. Helios bites his lip shrugging. ]

It's really not. I-I just had a ah...s-slight mishap. [ A wince as he brings that up. All sorts of unpleasant emotions drifting across his features and posture. ]
relictusdeus: (Rolling eyes)

Warning for a smutty remark.

[personal profile] relictusdeus 2012-02-26 07:08 am (UTC)(link)
A mishap indeed~. [Another roll of his eyes.] One would think I had demanded that you service me from how you are behaving on the subject.

[He pauses a beat, glancing at the other from the corner of his eye with a hint of roguishness to his expression.] I suppose that you would be opposed to the idea~?

[Half-serious.]

hdghuj Issac
