Whether by their own power or by droid, your characters are arriving one by one to the dorms. Each room is specific to a single character; others can only be invited in by that character's allowance. Requested effects will already be present in the rooms. While you're here, you may want to request some last-minute supplies... this is your final chance to gather them. A final note: Shift incompatibilities will not kick in while characters are in the dorms; only once they are out in the field.

[Sanji's never in a good mood for these things, but the atmosphere this time seems to be even darker than before. And not just from him, either. He goes willingly, but stiffly, keeping in company with Vivi and Luffy, and possibly Ginko and Xion if he sees them on the march to the dorms.

And once he's there... he knows there are people to check in on, to approach and mingle with and try to focus on something that isn't these upcoming days, but -- eh, fuck it. Cigarette break first.

The door's open, though, for anyone who can deal with the nicotine addictee. If not, wait outside for him to finish. He'll track down everyone he needs to eventually.]

[Rydia arrives willingly, mostly because there are friends and non-combatants to protect. When she does arrive, her designated room goes ignored, as usual. Instead, she's likely to be found in Kain's. The summoner will also be out and about, checking on familiar faces.]

[Someone might need to help Giles find his room, first - why do you people insist on text? But he'll go willingly with the droids, for once - his main goal is to stick close to Helios and Frederic, although who knows how well that will work in the crowds?

Once he finds his room, Giles will request the last of the gear he's still missing. Then weapons - a crossbow, a Glock pistol, plenty of ammunition, and a buckler shield. His truth sword, he brought with him. Then he'll request a certain spellbook, and smiles grimly when it turns up on his bed.

Last but not least? A record player and a good selection - something to help him settle down before they're called out. He'll leave the door cracked for anyone who wants to stop by, and later on might try finding his friends.]

[This... could be a problem. As soon as Rogue arrives outside the barrier she stumbles. The return of some powers to full strength is not a blessing. She's had months now where the psyches were not as loud.

One hand goes up to her head in a tell-tale gesture. Not now, damnit.

She has to get to her room. She has a carefully researched list of items to request.

But the flood of voices does not ebb. Sensing weakness, or need, or simply opportunity, the psyches hammer ceaselessly at her mental boundaries. She may need some help just finding her room, because for such a prodigious reader it sure doesn't look like she's paying any attention to those signs.]

[Raven doesn't want to be here, he really does not. But he knows he doesn't have a choice in the matter, so instead of going straight to his room, he's decided to wander around the corridors. Maybe when he gets bored of the plain white walls, he'll head to the room. For now though, he's too restless.]

[Four hours isn't really enough time, but since she already has a list and ideas for what to do with it, she'll spend a portion of that time on requesting--particularly certain items that couldn't be accessed in the enclosure--for additional bonuses to medicinal sets. There are kits to assemble, a lot of work to do. Hopefully she'll have some help on that front. It's going to be a hectic time, and if she doesn't break, it should be within enough time. And there are still last minute details to go over.

Not to mention that curious bit about the water. Not something to go to waste.

In any case she'll be using the rest of the time to distribute what she's put together, whether it's knocking on doors and handing it to them, or using a few minutes to confer with people--and making sure others are prepared.]

[... Kurt isn't really ready for this. Not now that he's here. He's in his room, laying flat on his bed, staring at the ceiling. He's geared up in his X-Men uniform. A supply kid is off on the side in a large backup and his two swords are sheathed and attached to a strap lying on the floor. Four hours to go...

Time seems to be passing by at a painfully slow pace. He's both dreading the draft and anticipating it being over. But his door is open, if anyone is keen on helping make the time go faster.]

[Unlike others, who may be lamenting the situation or just plain fearful, Homura quickly goes into her room and begins making requests into the intercom. Explosives, ammunition, guns, any sort of weapon she had that wasn't available to her in the village - she needed as much as she could get if they weren't going back after the night was over. She leaves her door closed during this, as not to let any prying ears in, and simply begins storing all the weapons she requested into the compartment behind her shield.

Once she finishes, Homura leaves her room and simply stands outside in the hall for most, if not all, of the remaining time they have before being ordered to go out. She's also not in her magical girl uniform yet, wanting to save energy before she transforms on the battlefield. She'll be up for speaking, but it might be better if someone addresses her first.

...Oh, and she'll also be knocking on the doors of two familiar faces. Mami and Kyouko may not like her, but they're going to have to deal with it when she knocks on their doors as soon as they enter.]

[ Kyouko doesn't bother to open the door herself as she sits on the edge of the bed. Even if she was childish at most, there wasn't one item of luxury in the room save for the candy stick that hangs from her mouth. A backpack rests on the floor near her feet and she wears clothes fitting for one who's spent many nights on the street: boots, pants that are loose in nature, a shirt with lengthy sleeves and thick material, etc.

No need for this doll to be miserable and cold. ]

[Masaomi is "ready." Gold's here, Metwo's here... they'll be his partners once the battle starts, but for right now he's collecting all the supplies he's amassed and putting them in a backpack. The stuff he got from Yui earlier. The med-kit he picked up from the clinic, Raine's supplies if/when she hands them out, other recommended items. Besides that he's using the requisition in his room to order pipes, other weapons, and putting them on places in or on his jacket...

A lot to do. And he still needs to find more team members to make good on Katara's promise.

As it is, he'll just end up standing in the hallway once he finishes supplying up, a backpack next to him and a lead pipe in his hand, wearing one of those ninja-vests its_troublesome always seems to wear, albeit with anything relating to Konoha taken off of it as per Shikamaru's precautions.]

[Soul will be walking down the hall towards Masaomi though he won't notice him until he's right next to him. The gear and the seriousness threw Soul off. When he does recognize him, he stops with slightly raised eyebrows.]

[Not much else comes to mind that he can say under such circumstances. He wonders for a moment if he should get weapons along with the basic provisions that he collected when he notices everything Masaomi's gathered. But he's used to fighting with just his own blade anyway. Trying to maneuver with something new might backfire on him.]

[As soon as Paprika gets into the room, she attempts to rest before the battle.

...............Okay that doesn't work well. Sleeping is a hard thing to adjust to as a fleshy person after all. And she's too worried about what might happen. What if the commandant couldn't fill her request and shift her a more human body? She didn't want to get hurt, but she didn't want to see other people being hurt and not being able to do anything about it. It weighed on her mind.

The door to her room is pretty much open, but the only thing people will find is Paprika shuffling a deck of playing cards without much focus. Also periodically drinking a glass of Scotch. Don't go in looking for much of a peppy attitude like she normally has.]

[There's a soft knocking on her door before it opens a little wider to reveal the telltale red hair of a Fabre boy. He'd been wanting to see Paprika to make sure she's okay the way she is now, and if the impending draft is bothering her at all. ... Are those cards?

He takes a few steps inside before he closes the door behind him, though he stays where he is for the time being.]

[Okay first things first, Haruhi has things to deliver to interstellars, onebluebamf, poppetry, and crytearsofjoy. After that, there's some time collecting a bunch of supplies, getting her supplies in order in a bag, and then requesting a second bag.

She tries to request a few items - a phaser, a hardsuit, a kinetic barrier, a personal teleporting device... but the requisition machine doesn't comply. She frowns, frankly expecting that, and instead requests a taser, mace, ...and one of the guns off Giles's list, plus ammo to go with it.

In the end that puts her with three hours left. She sighs and then flops onto her bed, the door to her room open for anyone. So what is she going to do this battle...? (Protip: she'll eventually conclude she can be a cook and then request some camp-cooking supplies from the requisition thing to put in her own bag)]

[Kurt is still in his room, uniformed up, and laying flat on his bed as he stares up at the ceiling. His gear, including two sabers, are beside his bed, ready for departure. He glances over when he sees Haruhi coming in.]

Hey Haruhi. [He's too distracted to even call her Chief.]

[Vash doesn't need to be dragged here by droids anymore. Once he arrives quietly to the dorms he heads for his room and requests last minute supplies to pack into his travel bag.

He also requests a couple books on rain forests and the animals that could be in them. He had brushed up a little at the library in Luceti, but there's always room for more information.

Vash can be found reading in his room for awhile before heading out and making his own rounds through the hall to check on people.]

[Nox, upon arriving wastes no time in locating his room and immediately getting to work requesting various materials, and immediately upon receiving them, he begins to construct Noxines (http://www.wakfufan.fr/files/1/images/1persos/e1-4.png). He is also constructing some sort of array that appears to be several magnifying glasses of varying sizes attached onto a small console. The speed at which he is constructing is quite surprising, perhaps a side effect of hundreds of years of experience doing so... Though in his haste it seems he forgot to close his door, if anybody would like to assist the psychopath Xelor in his work.]

[The first thing Selphie does upon arrival at her room is to request all the fire magic she can get, armor to protect herself and a couple of canteens of water. Her door is open as she starts fitting the individual pieces of armour onto herself but she's probably going to need some help with that little part.

Whenever she's finished putting on her armour, Selphie will be seen on the floor stretching to work some of the kinks out before setting out onto the battlefield. Items will fastened against her waist and her nunchaku will be fastened in place at her lower back but she's just mentally preparing herself for a long few days of battle with little sleep.

If she can keep everyone in the village safe, she'll gladly do whatever it takes.]

[Luffy is going to just be passing by her room like herp derp and notices it's Selphie. Sorry if he's not super giddy Selphie. There's a lot on his mind. Especially since Yuber AND Nu are on this list AGAIN.]

[Don shows up early, steps through the teleporter, and proceeds directly to his room. He will remain ensconced there for a time, and then emerge to look for the following people:

-Derek, Helios, Giles, Frederic, Winry, Mulder, other friends and associates.
-A person who answers to the name of "Ms. Daisy".
-Someone who looks like a competent leader and strategist.
-Anyone who would like a pair of ridiculous-looking goggles. (They're night-vision!)]

[Luffy is just going to be in his room lying down on his back with his hat over his head, and his hands behind his head. One of his legs are bended and he's just tapping his foot idly on the bed. He doesn't have any requests. No swords, no guns, no armor, nothing. S'not that he's like so omg powerful, but it's just that he knows all that kind of stuff is only going to slow him down when he finally get on the battlefield.

At one point you might catch him wandering the halls while on the way to visit friends though.]

[The first thing Hakuren does once he's checked all his equipment is head out to find Shuri. Though, really, Shuri should be able to take care of himself what with being in the Military and everything, Hakuren also knows his cousin more than a little. Even if they haven't spoken in a while - since Hakuren went to the Church and Shuri to Military school like a good little Oak - he's guessing Shuri's probably nervous.

Hakuren sure as hell is, even if that's not going to be something he's going to admit to anyone. Nervous had its perks and, well, this couldn't be more difficult than fighting those kors. Or those few wars that he'd seen.

Still, he's going from room to room, looking to see if he can find Shuri anywhere.

He's walking into a lot of wrong ones whilst looking for the right one and apologising to those whose room it is.]

[They had four hours, and four hours only here. Once they went out there at 1 PM, that was it. No turning back. As much as Gold would love to take these four hours easy, knowing there was time later to prepare... That simply wasn't possible. He had to have everything ready now... Not for his sake, but for his friends. Mewtwo was counting on him, Masaomi was counting, all his friends were counting on him. For their sake, he had to do everything he could to be ready.

So, in his room, door wide open, he's busy loading his backpack up with supplies. Most of them are for Pokémon--berries, healing items, and held items--but he's also grabbing some stuff to help his other friends. He doesn't want another case of what happened last time with Masaomi.

Once he's fully loaded, he steps outside his room and waits out in the hallway.]

[Ron needs to be dragged along kicking and screaming; really, this whole thing was fucking nuts, and he's not exactly happy about the fact that he needs to leave Harry and Hermione behind to go play in a jungle. Just because he's a Gryffindor doesn't mean that he wants to mess around with lions, for Merlin's sake.

He's prowling around rather like a big cat, though, looking like he's just about ready to explode. Maybe that was why they took people by force; it helped piss you off enough to make you a better fighter.

[It's hard to ignore someone looking that pissed off while stalking through the hallways. And Sanji, despite knowing better, can't help but remark on his way past:]

[ For once, Xion does not really mingle in advance of heading out. This time feels worse than the other times, for some reason -- probably the lack of information, the callousness of the Commandant... the amount of people who are precious to her being forced out into this mess.

She came prepared. She put together her own first aid kit, read Daisy-023's guide on jungle conditions and brought clothes and supplies as seemed necessary, prepped on information with Haruhi... she even saw Catherine's last minute warning, and managed to get a drink of water before she left. She's as ready as she can be.

... but she doesn't feel ready. She's curled up on her bed in her room, with the door open. (The blanket isn't actually over her head, but the pose is the same.) Her swaxe, and her bag of supplies, rest on the floor beside the bed.

Come bother her. If you don't, she'll spend the last hour before departure checking in on those she knows -- and can catch -- one last time. ]

[The door is open, but Luke doesn't feel like barging in. For a second, he even hesitates outside of it. How is Xion really feeling about this? Would she... want to see him?

But he gets over that moment of uncertainty enough to step forward and knock a couple of times on her door before he leans around so that his head and shoulders come into view.]

[Albert will be out and about in the hallway, having requested the supplies he had needed as soon as he arrived. His first order of business is making sure all of the scouts receive headset communicators and understand how they work. The next is to return to his room and finish his packing preparations. Along with all the standard gear he had recommended people bring, he had other things to gather. Rune scrolls, a sacrificial jizo, a long knife should he need to cut himself free from plants out there... Little things he can store away until he needed them.

Despite being mentally ready for what may occur out there, he's not looking forward to this.]

[He can't stand the sound of his own feet on the tiled hallway, or the sickeningly familiar look to it. Do all mad scientists have the same interior decorator? Haine just wants to get to his room and sleep until he has to come out again. His settles uncertainly on the collar at the back of his neck, fingers picking at the metal in an unconscious nervous gesture. It isn't that he fears death, not his own at least, it's mostly the uncomfortably familiar feeling of it all. Being forced to fight and tear other things apart for some nebulous somebody watching them. He can't fuckin' stand it.

Haine can be found walking down the hall to his room or in it, watching television with a bored expression on his face.]

[At about 10:30 AM, Stahn calls the Blue Rogues that were drafted together for a meeting. At this meeting, he goes over some of the points Daisy outlined in her entry earlier, stressing how important these points are. It'll be much harder out there than past drafts. He especially emphasizes the final point: Remain in groups. Find people to work with, and stay with them. If you don't have partners, he says to team up with your fellow Blue Rogues, and that he's willing to team up with anyone who needs it. Following the meeting, he dismisses everyone, telling them to get ready.

...He's really glad he had Dymlos to outline what he should do for the meeting beforehand.

Following that, Stahn can be found in his room. The door's wide open, and he... is fast asleep on the bed, face-down and sprawled out, like a murder victim almost.]

[Dhaos had planned on sitting around and attempting to fight off the droids instead of going along with this nonsense, but after being approached by a couple people with information and well-wishes he decided he may as well go without a fight. He knew he would fare better than most of the people going out on the draft, and while he didn't particularly care who else died he would rather be doing something marginally useful.

So since Dhaos has never been in a rainforest before, he'll be requesting a few things as suggested over the journals: a knife, just in case, a compass, the usual supplies sans food-- he can go without it for a while, and doesn't want to be carrying around unnecessary materials. He brought extra clothes just in case, and is in fact wearing something a little different today. While his usual outfit was protected head to toe from insect bites, Dhaos had a stronger immune system than most and had switched it out for something a little more practical.

After that he'll just be wandering the halls. Feel free to run into him there.]
