Meguro. It was one of the wards of Tokyo...when spring came around, all the cherry blossom trees would bloom along the river. [A wistful grin, before he shakes himself out of it.] Favourite way to pass time?

Sounds like a nice place. [A pause.] Reading books. Favorite book?

Do you even need to ask? [Grin. You know what ones he's thinking about.] Favourite...kind of music?

Doesn't seem like it--- and anything with a flute, would you believe? [A pause as he thinks on it.] Favorite pastime?

A flute, huh? [He seems surprised, then smiles.] Let's see...probably just hanging out. [Leaning against you there for a moment, Ted.] Your favourite-- [Yawn.] --morning, afternoon, or evening?

[As if he'd ever mind that from Naoki.] Afternoons. Mornings are too early and evenings aren't bright enough. [Trying not to yawn that is contagious man.] Favorite game?

[Naoki notices him trying not to yawn. Heh. And to that question--oh, he could list off various video games, but.] Poker. [Even if his poker face still sucks.] Fa-a- [Stupid yawn.] --favourite drink?

Really, poker? [A smile.] Tea. Favorite body part? [He was running out of ideas and he was a bit sleepy.]

Really, poker. [His words and following chuckle are a bit slurred from sleepiness.] ...hands, I guess. They're useful. [For cooking, especially. And fighting, though less so.] Favourite...mm. Piece of clothing?

Same here, for both of those. [Hmm...] My scarf, though it's not really acting like much of one right now.

Favorite plant?

[Naoki hums at him, an affectionate sound.] Heh. Still think it was being used pretty good. [Keeping them together, in a way. This is a sappy way of thinking of it, mind you.]

Uhm...azaleas. [He glances away as he says it, scratching his cheek.] Favourite weather...? [He rests his head on the pillow, eyes half-shut.]

You think so, huh? [Such a sap. Not that he isn't, but... Heh.]

Rainy ones. It reminds me of Gregminster. [Noticing that and smiling.] Future dreams?

Uh-huh. Kept us together... [Sap sap saaaap.]

Hmm. [Sleepy sigh. Naoki reaches out to grasp at the end of Ted's shirt, his eyes closing fully now.] I'd like to fly. [He's only half-joking.] Yours?

It really did.

[A smile, and a chuckle.] To never lose a moment like this. [He doesn't ask a question to follow that up, looking at Naoki's face instead.]

[Naoki opens his eyes slightly in confusion when another question isn't asked, looking at him sleepily. And then, sincerely,]

I love moments like this. [A soft sigh.] I treasure them all...

Guess that means we're both not allowed to forget, huh? [He reaches over to cover Naoki's eyes, attempting to get him to sleep.] Just remember it like this.

...if you ever forget, I'll punch you. [Naoki murmurs as his eyes are covered, lifting a hand to rest over Ted's briefly.] Okay. I will.

I can feel your love a mile away. [Light sarcasm, heavy fondness.]

Damn right you can. [And he laughs softly.]

Guess I should feel flattered, or special. But then I don't know how flattering a black eye would be no matter the intention.

Well, hey. You'd be reminded of my love every time you look in the mirror. [He dissolves into helpless laughter, low and drowsy though it might be.]

Guess I would be. I'd decorate it with a nice eyepatch too, maybe sign it with "Naoki was here." [He doesn't let go yet, still keeping Naoki's eyes closed, because he didn't want him to see Ted like this, just the one time he truly lets go and lets things in since he came to Luceti.]

Let everyone know... [Naoki breathes a sleepily content sound. He doesn't mind his eyes being kept shut, even though he wants to look at him. But there's physical contact and he's mollified by it.]

You sure your only future dream is to fly? [He asks curiously, tentatively lifting his hand off now.]

I have...a lot of things I want for the future, I think. [He blinks his eyes open.] Keep everyone safe, together...happy.
