Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

[You know how some people are just randomly finding themselves on the beach due to the wonders of teleporting? That's what happened to Claude.

Except he didn't suddenly find himself on the beach. He found himself... well, crashing into the ocean.

[right near Aqua as she's swimming, COMPLETELY STARTLING HER

she gasps underwater which is obviously bad so she's forced to quickly surface. despite being out of breath, she looks around for any sign of the PERSON WHO SUDDENLY APPEARED to see if they're alright]

[Sorry, Aqua! Claude isn't expecting to have to swim all of a sudden, so it'll take a moment before he realizes that he might, you know, drown if he doesn't do something quick. After a moment, he makes it to the surface, gasping for air and looking around in surprise.]

Wh-where...? Is this... the ocean?

Claude! [swimming over] Are you alright?!

[He turns at the sound of her voice, and... oh, hey there! He blinks.]

A... Aqua? I'm... What just happened?

[humility]

I'm not sure! You appeared out of nowhere-- Are you hurt?

[mirrorblade]

No... No, I'm okay. [Well, he thinks. He doesn't feel hurt, so it's probably a safe bet.] It was just, um... really sudden. Sorry.

[humility]

Don't be! We all found ourselves here the same way. Let's go back to shore and make sure you didn't injure anything--

[starting to head back, but watching him]

Y-yeah, yeah... Good idea.

[So he follows her! Even if swimming in a pair of pants and a t-shirt is a little... difficult. And weird. But then, so is everything else about this. He won't have any trouble making it to the shore, though.]

[Cloche is nearing the water carefully, unsure of it really. But when she sees someone go in... welp, she's going to try to go over and find out who they are and if they're all right.

Not doing a very good job of it though. At least she's trying, even if she's struggling.]

[All of this is so sudden that it'll take Claude a moment to make it back up to the surface. He gasps, then looks around, trying to make sense of the fact that he has somehow left the comfort of his room and is now in the middle of the freakin' ocean.]

[Cloche'll stop and keep herself afloat when she gets closer. Lucky for her that's easy.]

Claude! Are you all right?

Um... Y-yeah, I think so. [But he sounds so confused that his answer may not be entirely convincing.] Where are we?

[So Nagisa's just merrily swimming around when she suddenly sees a BODY WITH BLONDE HAIR FALLING FROM THE SKY and splashing her upon its impact into the water.

Clearly startled, she starts freaking out a bit because oh gosh that was terrifying and is this person okay and and--]

[Sorry about that, Nagisa! Claude's definitely not thinking about how he splashed some poor soul in the water. Instead, he's trying to remember how to swim. It's been a long time since he's had to swim, you see.]

[Well he better remember that soon! Because Nagisa's starting to freak out just a bit more..! And so she's coming on over to make sure Claude is alright because.. yeah that doesn't look much like swimming at the moment.]

[Nope, it's definitely more like flailing uncontrollably for now...! After a moment, though, he'll make his way back to the surface with another splash and a sharp intake of breath.

This is definitely something new.]

[Oh no what if he dies Nagisa should probably help him--oh, never mind. He's up now, good! Gasping for air but... at least he's getting some air now! And then she notices just who this guy is...]

C-Claude...?! Are you okay? [She never thought Claude would be one to not know how to swim.]

U-um... [He looks around for a moment before it dawns on him that he recognizes that voice. His eyes widen in surprise.] Nagisa? Where... where are we?

[Okay, so he didn't intentionally fall from the sky here. Um.]

Um... We're at the beach.. [She points over at the shore. See?]

[But this happens all the time, Nagisa, you don't understand. ;_;]

The... beach? [He looks over, and sure enough, it's the beach.] How did I get here?

[No of course she doesn't. So instead she'll just look at him and (unsure) all over the place...]

I-I'm not sure... I just suddenly noticed that you were falling.. Where were you before? [You aren't crawling all over the barrier or anything like Spiderman are you, Claude..]

[IF HE WAS, HE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT.]

I was just in my room... I think. One minute, I was getting up to go to the kitchen and the next, I was here.
