Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

[So Nagisa's just merrily swimming around when she suddenly sees a BODY WITH BLONDE HAIR FALLING FROM THE SKY and splashing her upon its impact into the water.

Clearly startled, she starts freaking out a bit because oh gosh that was terrifying and is this person okay and and--]

[Sorry about that, Nagisa! Claude's definitely not thinking about how he splashed some poor soul in the water. Instead, he's trying to remember how to swim. It's been a long time since he's had to swim, you see.]

[Well he better remember that soon! Because Nagisa's starting to freak out just a bit more..! And so she's coming on over to make sure Claude is alright because.. yeah that doesn't look much like swimming at the moment.]

[Nope, it's definitely more like flailing uncontrollably for now...! After a moment, though, he'll make his way back to the surface with another splash and a sharp intake of breath.

[Oh no what if he dies Nagisa should probably help him--oh, never mind. He's up now, good! Gasping for air but... at least he's getting some air now! And then she notices just who this guy is...]

C-Claude...?! Are you okay? [She never thought Claude would be one to not know how to swim.]

U-um... [He looks around for a moment before it dawns on him that he recognizes that voice. His eyes widen in surprise.] Nagisa? Where... where are we?

Um... We're at the beach.. [She points over at the shore. See?]

The... beach? [He looks over, and sure enough, it's the beach.] How did I get here?

[No of course she doesn't. So instead she'll just look at him and (unsure) all over the place...]

I-I'm not sure... I just suddenly noticed that you were falling.. Where were you before? [You aren't crawling all over the barrier or anything like Spiderman are you, Claude..]

[IF HE WAS, HE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT.]

I was just in my room... I think. One minute, I was getting up to go to the kitchen and the next, I was here.

O-of course I can swim! [He laughs nervously. This whole thing was pretty embarrassing...] Everything just... happened really fast, that's all. But I'm okay.

Oh good! I'm glad.. I was a little worried. [She glances around for a moment.] Um... maybe we should go back to the shore..

Y-yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Let's go.

[So it's off to the shore...! Though, swimming while wearing all these clothes is a little odd. This is more exercise than he expected to get today crawling all over the barrier aside.]

[Crawling all over the barrier should be a breeze for spiderclaude... Off to shore we go! Nagisa's not a particularly fast swimmer in the first place anyway, so Claude being held up by his clothes is no issue..!

Buuut it's not like they were that far from the shore anyway, so they'll be coming up to it soon enough.]

[Good. As soon as Claude can stand up and walk instead of swim, that is definitely what he's going to do. He immediately starts to take off his jacket, but as he does so, he realizes something strange.]

...wait, why is it so warm here?

I'm not sure... It's been warm here today, for some reason. It's strange, isn't it?

[Nagisa hadn't really given much thought to it though, since she just shrugged it off with a "Oh, it must be a Luceti thing!"]

There are also a whole bunch of these fruits that I've never seen before. [She points to one of the trees bearing them.]

[He looks over at the trees and tilts his head. He's never seen anything like them before, not even on Expel.]

Wow, that's weird. I wonder where they came from.

You've never seen them before either, Claude?

[Huh. Weird. Maybe they've just been growing here on the beach and nobody knew it. It's not like anyone has been going there, anyway..]

I've been seeing lots of people eating them, too.. So I don't think they're dangerous or anything.

Maybe someone else knows what they are. [Because it doesn't really make sense for everyone to just... start eating some weird fruit if they don't recognize it. Maybe some people, but not everyone.

He drops his jacket onto the sand for a moment so he can take off his shirt, too. It's so warm outside that it's hard to believe it's still winter in the rest of the village.] Um, do you have a towel I could use?

Maybe... I guess it wouldn't make much sense otherwise. [Because yeah it'd be strange that everyone was eating them if that wasn't the case.]

Um, I don't have one on me right now [obviously], but there's one where the rest of my things are. So you could use that one! [She'll start walking that way now..]

[She shakes her head. Had she suddenly popped up on the beach, she wouldn't have been so confused about the fact that Claude did.]

I came here on my own, actually. I saw a lot of people heading into those teleporters and coming here, so I got curious and decided to come too. And I'm glad I did! It's really nice out here, and I haven't been to the beach here in a while.

[Or at least, a real beach. The Battle Dome just isn't the same!]
