[This week, the village was less boring than normal. Even if this strangeness was unsettling, drastic changes in people she thought dependable, and the odd commentary that she was, once again, not acting like herself could put her on edge- Adele is more than centered enough to not be bothered by it overmuch. Something was going on, so she decides to roll with it. As the week starts she's doing as she always did, parkour in the mornings, lounging about the village in the afternoons, causing mischief where she can and teasing where she can't.

The teahouse, Good Spirits, and Cloud Nine will be her typical haunts in the evening and just before dusk, she'll be drinking or trying to get a sabaac, or poker that game gambit taught her, going. Catch her whenever you like during the week; but she'll be more upbeat and cheerful in the first few days. As the week wears on she'll become more pensive and thoughtful, less maniac and flirtatious. Well. She'll always be flirtatious Pateesa, but you know you like it.]

[Grune has never seen parkour before, and so she watches Adele, fascinated. She didn't know her friend could do that!]

[An audience! Adele enjoys audiences, the opportunity to add little flourishes to her path, extra tricks to impress. They were fun, they were enjoyable for whoever watched her, and Grune would probably applaud once she was through. Or smile and laugh. Either were acceptable. With that in mind she adds little twists and flips, extra bits where she wouldn't need them before taking a long jump from a roof to land next to her, dropping into a bow.]

[And applause she gets--enthusiastic applause, even!

...Followed by a confused look.]

Oh, no, I'm not Gem. I'm Grune.

[Did Adele forget? Maybe she got her mixed up with her friend who went home--never mind that it was a long time ago.]

I know Grune. I just call you Gem, because you are such a Gem, remember? [Adele huffs a soft laugh and reaches out to pat Grune's arm, looking back over the path she'd taken.]

How are you doing today loveliness?

[The weight of being one of the few in town completely aware of just how weird everyone else is being is starting to take its toll. Gambit is feeling particularly exhausted and fairly annoyed, but he figures stewing over it on his own won't help a damn thing.

And so, here he is, sauntering on into Good Spirits just in time to see the cards coming out. With a small grin, he heads on over to Adele.]

Hullo sweetie.

[Adele shuffles the deck with a flourish, and yes, she is using a little of her Force abilities to make them spin, jump, and fan in the air before returning them to their deck.]

Nothing yet, but I'll start a game soon enough. Shall it be Poker, Sabacc, strips sabacc, or that two player solitaire you were showing me last week?

[That Force flourish is pretty damned impressive, so he watches that shuffling with thinly-veiled interest. Best use of the Force yet, if you ask him.]

Well, unless we can get a group goin', the solitaire would prob'ly be best. But you won't hear me complainin' if we can get that group started.

Hmm...Think if I make a call for volunteers for a game of strip Sabacc I'd get many takers? [A cheeky grin and she slides the deck over to Gambit for him to give it a shuffle as well.]

I also took the liberty of liberating poor little Oliver. [She pats the cloak at her side, fed and sleepy? He wouldn't eat it. She's also given him a strong force suggestion to not eat it.]

[You'd actually be hard-pressed to find Tony in the bar this week--it's not really his type of hang-out. He is out and about, though, when he runs into Adele--

[Letting him get away? Nope. She follows him, hooks her arm in his and guides him back the way he'd come. They would need privacy for this and she'd even brought a peace offering.] I'll be brief, for your own very busy schedule Starkers.

Better be. You normally need to schedule an appointment, but I'll let this pass.

[Robert is easily trolled no matter what the situation, fortunately enough for Adele. The main difference, of course, is the way he carries himself - a little more confidently than usual, a little more comfortably.

Oh, and there's a little floating electrical metal critter suspended in the air behind him, as he idly walks in the plaza. The cotton bag at his side also has an unusual logo on it, where it would normally be a plain white.

Strange? Probably.]

[Now that is a strange contraption. And Robert looks...odd. Hm. This must change. Using a bit of force she flicks a pebble at the odd floating thing. Maybe she can knock it silly.]

[ADELE used ROCK THROW!
It's not very effective...

Hematite, for its part, looks decidedly irritable as the pebble pings off its metallic hide. It whirls around a bit, narrowing its one eye.]

[This, in turn, causes Robert to stop himself.]

[After her own shift at Seventh Heaven is done, Melanie heads to Good Spirits instead of going straight home. She may not be much of a drinker - she was never fond of the idea of not being completely aware of herself or her surroundings - but one drink never hurt, and it was always good to relax a little bit.

Though once she's in, she does notice Adele with those cards. Huh.]

[Unfortunately, his hand was shot and he lost his jacket.

Fortunately, he recalls a certain bloody witch who said she could heal the injured. And it doesn't take long to find her, in the plaza near the fountain.]

[The aforementioned bloody witch is stretched out and enjoying the sun at the moment. Or. Well. She was until a shadow looms. Adele blinks a bit, props herself up on her elbows, then beams.]

Afternoon Lovely! What brings y- [Her eyes narrow, her hand flexes. That's not right.]

Hand. Now.

"Apologies, miss. I just didn't know where else to go. Don't want to lose the hand."

[Should she stop by the village clinic, Willock will be spending much of his time in the office there, organizing records and filling out forms. He's become rather exasperated with the lack of consistency in the patient files, and he knows well enough from his experiences back home that this sort of grunt work doesn't get done unless he takes it upon himself to do it. He's heard snippets of some experiment that's been going on, but he hasn't personally encountered anything strange yet...]

[Though fairly laid back, Adele still takes shifts at the clinics regularly, and sticks to them as much as possible. She could be of use, somehow, and. If she timed it right? Could spend time with Will. For her shifts she wears scrubs, her own robes were fare too nice to risk having someone be sick all over them. Thus attired she makes her way into the clinic and wanders until she finds Will's office. She grins, gives the door a knock, and pokes her head in.]

Afternoon Dr. Willock.

[He turns from where he's sitting at a desk, raising an eyebrow at her tone. She sounds awfully...perky today.]

Good afternoon. [He gestures at the file open in front of him.] I'm just doing some housekeeping.
